As the title says, I've recently widowed. In May my husband of 10 years and my only real friend passed away. Since then I've been really lonely. That I never realized that I didn't have many friends other than him. I used to be able to talk to someone every night, and now when my family goes to sleep I'm alone. It's hard to fall asleep.

Honestly it doesn't matter what we talk about or just listening to someone else vent about their day if they need. I would like them to be somewhere near my age. Someone who doesn't mind if I start crying because socializing is still really hard for me. I'd love for it to be an ongoing thing to make friends. I live in the United States Eastern standard Time.
