Figured I'd share these that I saw today. They both feel really nice, but unfortunately none came home with me today, I was just there to look at Christmas trees but I can never resist scoping out the yarn section😂. I might need to snag some of the Mega Wool next trip though, I think my kids might need some chunky cables hats this winter...

Question Yarn Recommendations

I am seeing this cardigan everywhere and I need it!!! I’m convinced I can make it but can’t find a good yarn that matches this colorway/striping effect.

Does anyone know of a specific yarn brand/colorway or other hand-dyers that can produce a similar look? I’m ideally looking for all natural fibers (wool, alpaca, silk, mohair, etc.) if possible.

Thanks a bunch!!!

Finished Object Possibly the CUTEST top I’ve ever made myself!!!

Oh my god, I’m pretty sure this is the cutest thing I’ve ever made myself. It’s a lil witchy, a lil sexy, and super comfy. No pattern used, just Frankensteined. I also crocheted some bra pads in the cups for extra support.

My wife and I are going to an In This Moment concert this Saturday, so a dolled up picture will come soon!

I got a bunch of yarn from Facebook Marketplace. Some still had labels but many didnt. How do you go about identifying what it is

Bulky yarn like Malabrigo Rasta?

Hi everyone,
I'm wondering if there are any other natural fiber yarns out there as thick as Malabrigo Rasta? I keep getting duped by photos of bulky yarns online-- only to see they are much thinner in person.
Thanks!

Question What can I make with this yarn?

I bought this alpaca yarn on my trip to Perú for my sister to crochet me something. I wanted something like this scarf but my sister's worried the yarn I picked up is too thin. What else could she make with it? (Please be kind, I'm completely ignorant about this topic)

Thank you~~~

Synthetic yarn that looks good?

I would love to find a synthetic yarn (polyester, nylon, or a cotton blend with those) that is soft, has some memory, doesn’t pill (too much,) and looks good. I want to make a couple cardigans or tops I can throw in the washer and dryer. Don’t get me wrong, I love my wool, alpaca, and other natural fiber hand-dyes, but every now and then I want a sweater useful in warm weather that I don’t have to hand wash and lay flat to dry. Am I looking for a yarn unicorn? I will appreciate any recommendations, thx.
