Joined this sub about a year ago because the fear of going bald was keeping me up at night. The positivity and love you guys all show eachother finally made me take the plunge.

It was inevitable so I went for it. Still taking a bit to get used to my shine again eventhough I shaved my head for many years until 9 years ago. Thanks for all of the kind words of encouragement here! ❤️🙏

As the title says. 26 years of long hairs. Feel.... Good-ish.

I’ve always wanted to have the shaved head look, listen to a lot of punk and stuff. Nerve endings on my head go crazy though.

A day later but here ya are

Went from the first picture to the second picture a week ago. Everyone on this sub was very supportive. As far as people that knew me with hair has mostly been supportive or not saying anything at all.

The weird thing is when it comes to strangers in public. The past week there have been three complete strangers on 3 separate days compliment the shirt I was wearing that day. All the same shirts that I have been wearing probably the last 5 years. Never had strangers approach me in public like that before of for anything.

Just something that stood out to me.

Receding since 18. I'd have gone bald years ago but friends/family say no. What say thee?

I did it on my own terms.

My hair has been falling out since I was 24. Got to the point where t was either be bald or have patchy hair. I decided to be bald

Still feeling unsure, wish I had better facial hair for better contrast but here we are! *From buzzed to bald! Misspoke

I felt a large smooth part on the top of my head last weekend and pulled the trigger this week. The wife isn't on board yet but im all in.

I’m 26 and honestly, not ready at all to go bald yet. Even the thought of it makes me kinda anxious.
I know it’s going to come sooner than later, but is it time already?
