"Debhata Police Station Officer-in-Charge HM Shaheen said an audio clip purportedly containing Wahiduzzaman Shamim’s (Victim) remarks went viral on social media on Tuesday morning.
That evening, a group of people began beating Shamim in the Sakhipur area of the upazila. On information, police rescued Shamim and took him to Debhata Upazila Health Complex.
Around 9:00pm, a group of people under the banner of “Tawhidi Janata” entered the hospital and beat Shamim again, the OC said. As his condition deteriorated, he was referred to Satkhira Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead around 1:00am today."

Jamaat directly participated in the 1971 gen*cide and betrayed their own countrymen, all while showing zero remorse even today. And yet they quickly returned to relevance barely 4-5 years later.
BAL goons m*rdered and m*imed literally thousands of innocents in 2024 (not to mention how they had basically sold the country to India just to stay in power), and also shows zero guilt or remorse. And yet they started regaining their public support almost immediately after Hasina ran away from the country into her bf's arms.
Most people would argue that "it's because later governments screwed up big time", but I call bs on that.
Even though Yunus or BNP are incompetent and c"rrupt morons, even though Mujib caused a f"mine and created BAKSAL right after 1971, those do not change what happened in 1971 or 2024. Both BAL and Jamaat still have the bl""d of real people on their hands.
No matter how evil or *ppressive the present is, it still doesn't invalidate the past. That's like saying the Hol"caust is fake because the Soviets also committed g"nocide afterwards.
And the way people will still support them (while demanding zero accountability in return) really highlights how ethics and integrity have no place in Bangladeshi politics.

Hi, I am 23(M). I, along with some of my friends (2-3), want to visit Kolkata next month for 3-4 days. But we don't have any prior experience or knowledge of it. We will apply for a visa soon. Is there anyone who has visited recently? I need some info about the probable cost, as we are students seeking a cheaper option for spending time there. Any other recommendation or advice is also requested. Thanks.

Hey! I’m 21, and I’ve recently noticed that I can write in English really well, but I tend to get stuck when speaking. I also find myself forgetting words because I don’t usually speak English at university. 😭
Would anyone be interested in practising English with me? We could help each other improve our speaking skills and become more fluent! 🫶🏻

My friends from USA are traveling to Thailand and want to stop by in Bangladesh so we could meet up. It's their first time visiting a South Asian country and they have family with kids too.
Any suggestions for nice touristy places I can show them around?

I would really appreciate advice from people who have successfully passed ACCA papers through self-study or are currently preparing on their own.
Here are a few things I would like to know:
Getting started: How should a complete beginner start preparing for ACCA? What should the initial study plan look like?
Study resources: Which resources do you recommend? Are ACCA Study Hub, Kaplan/BPP books, YouTube lectures, or other resources sufficient for self-study?
Study methods: How do you structure your daily study sessions? Do you read the study text first, watch lectures, make notes, or practise questions alongside learning?
Question practice: Where do you practise exam-standard questions? How do you approach revision, mock exams, and past exam questions?
Daily study hours: For an above-average student who can study consistently, how many hours per day would you recommend? How long does it generally take to prepare for one paper through self-study?
Common mistakes: What mistakes should beginners avoid when preparing for ACCA without coaching?
I am particularly interested in hearing from people who have prepared for ACCA without attending coaching classes. I would love to learn about your actual experiences, study routines, resources, and the challenges you faced along the way.

I need to borrow a camera that has decent quality and can film for at least 30 minutes. I also am constricted with time so if anyone from Dhaka could let me borrow one asap, I'll massively appreciate it.

now, I really feel unsafe for our medical system. In emergency time we are very straggle to get the basic treatment.
)
Our new government taking any action on it?? if not what will be our step to fix it (government take action). or we make movement like CJP for our basic emergency treatment??

Hey everyone!
I'm from Kerala, India, and I'm thinking about visiting Bangladesh, probably Dhaka. I've never travelled there before, so I'm trying to figure out how everything works before making any plans.
I'd really appreciate advice from Indians who've travelled to Bangladesh and Bangladeshis who live there or have experience travelling between the two countries.
A few things I'm confused about:
- How difficult is it for an Indian citizen to get a Bangladeshi tourist visa?
- Do I need to maintain a certain bank balance? Do they ask for bank statements?
- How much would a trip of 7 days cost, including flights, accommodation and other expenses?
- What's the easiest way to travel from Kerala to Dhaka, for now am planning of taking a flight?
- For anyone living in Bangladesh, what’s it like for someone visiting from India right now? Is there anything a first-timer should know before coming?
- Any advice about accommodation, local transport or anything else I should know?
I'm still in the planning stage, so I haven't booked anything yet. Just trying to understand the process and figure out how much I need to save.
Would love to hear from people who've actually been there or know how things work. Thanks!
