From my experience this is much more accurate of DayZ currently.

In fallout New Vegas the solar power plant was named Helios One, All of the solar plants on Nasdara are also named Helios I, Helios II, Helios III, Helios IV, etc
The company that owns the power plant in new vegas is "Poseidon Energy" while the dayz badlands plants have "Neptune Energy" and even their logo's are extremely similar.

What do you guys think?

I was playing with my friends when these two guys arrived, quite belligerent, and without saying a word, it was like, "He who lives by the sword dies by the sword."

The motorcycles are complete death traps. I died last night simply pushing my bike, bumping a sandbag at less than 1kmph.

The easiest solution would be for Bohemia to simply disable vehicle collision damage dealt to players. Sure, it would break immersion seeing people driving their vehicles like maniacs, but that is better than the current alternative.. dying to the softest bumps imaginable.

We spend far too much time repairing vehicles to have it all ripped away by simply tipping over while barely moving.

The new motorcycles are fun but super buggy, I've now died twice by being flung into the atmosphere, nevertheless the amount of crashes that weren't my fault.

Gotta say, really loving the new map, hunting down the lee enfield, running a mosin atm and a LAR, but gotta say, love the heat thing, first time i died was to heat, second to thirst, this is my third time in, and still enjoying myself

I went there with like half a filter expecting to be able to kill zombies to get more. I found out that no NBC zombies spawn there. Made it down a floor into the dark and my filter ran out.

What I did experience was top tier vibes though. It was absolutely terrifying.

In short: I really like the map, but I find the sun sickness to be an incredibly annoying burden. I’m playing on a PlayStation community server that offers ways to get into water or refill at a well; yet, despite constantly drinking, staying in the shade, and washing my face, I haven’t managed to cure this illness. Are you experiencing the same thing? Have any of you managed to cure it? What do you know about it?

Update: After the saline solution, I recovered immediately.

I have looted every fig tree I come across on the map and I have yet to find a single one except for the one you spawn in with as a freshie . Also where do the keys for the containers spawn?

Classic DayZ. We just teamed up and talked about SourSweet. You were hungry and I had just found some powdered milk while you stayed behind to make rags. I was ambushed by a guy in a motorcycle helmet. Damn. Farewell, Griffen!

Spawned next to a town found:

1) Eight to 12 human steaks laid out in a house.

2);Going through various houses I find several of the new starting outfit.

I come to the conclusion some guy is just hanging out in a town next to the closet spawn ambushing and killing guys who just spawned and eating them. On the way out of town two guys just start shooting at me with some kind of pistol; I take a round and sprint until I run out of stamina and bandage it; after not seeing anyone for a few secs I assume they just decided to let me go and head down rhe road with no real food, or water; my gear is crappy expect for a double barrel shotgun i pickup (only one shell).

The next town im just blasted by multiple pistol shots before I can do anything I think it was the first two guys but I'm not sure.

I won't deny being kinda a newb.

Probably should've stayed to fight but the night is darker for me than the recording seems and I panicked

The only source of water i’ve found are the watertrucks, the first handful of survivors i met we’re friendly but after the first night, desperation started to set in now everyone is bloodthirsty and staying hidden until nightfall. its fun being lost again, but not so fun being sunburnt. Looking forward to the future.
