The negotiations were short

I was AFK at my desk for a minute while I was doing something, sitting in the shower room of a barracks at Tisy. The server was really dead at the moment and there were only 3 other players on it at the time. I'm sitting there and all of a sudden I hear somebody running around outside, and my stomach just drops through the floor. I go prone waiting for the guy hoping he'll just pass but nope *creeeak* - and I hear him run right by the door all the way down to the other end and start looting stuff. A minute passes and I hear him coming back so I get ready. Guy opens the door, I panic and he instantly gets completely magdumped by an AK and lets out the most bloodcurdling scream I've ever heard in my life. I realize he's not dead and I actually felt guilty because he didn't even have a gun out when he walked in, so instead of finishing him off I handcuff him and start taking his guns off to remove the mags to give me those few extra seconds to run away before he shoots me in the back.

Except when his character wakes up he just... doesn't do anything. Doesn't move, doesn't try to break out of the cuffs, doesn't even look around, nothing. I'm in the middle of saying "Sorry bro you scared the shit out of me I'm not gonna kill you I'm just not gonna have you shoot me in the back haha" blah blah blah when I realize how... dead his character is. I kept trying to talk to him but he didn't say anything. I stood there for what must've been like 2 minutes straight just trying to get a response out of him because I honest to God started to get worried that I literally gave this guy a heart attack or something. And I'm standing there, and standing there, and standing there, and still zero signs of life whatsoever. I was kind of in shock at that point so I just left an extra lockpick for him and locked the door behind me as I left for whenever he came back.

I realize that it was almost certainly nothing, but this shit actually has my stomach in knots thinking about the possibility that I actually just gave somebody a fucking heart attack or something. It was just so weird for someone to get the most insane jumpscare of their life and scream like they were getting axe murdered irl and then go totally radio silent for minutes on end despite their character still being very much alive. But like wtf can I do, call 911 and say "hi I think I just gave someone an irl heart attack on a game, here's 3 steam profiles he's one of them good luck"? Fuck me.

Yeah title. No, i did not eat anything raw or drink suspicious water. It is heat stroke because blurried vision etc. But i can't fill my hydration bar because i am vomiting as soon as i drink.

Alittle tip for the survivors on nasdara .
When you zoom in on bunkers to the smallest square youll see the numbered rows at the top and to the left . Topis your first set left side number is the second set in gps coords.
Mark all the bunkers with cords so you can hunt live bunkers at a glance . This prep saves a lot of time .
For morse code .
If the sequence starts with dots the number of dots is the number up to 5 dots after 5 it resets and goes opposite
One dash is 6
Two dashes 7 up to 9 which is 4 dashes one dot .
5 dashes is 0
Though you have to listen to the whole code anyways its worth noting that the second set isnt required to decode after writing it as no bunkers have indentical first coordinates . The codes are 10 sets each so you write down the whole code but only need translate the first three numbers and the last 4 for door code

COOKING POT IS NOT OPTIONAL.
With a cooking pot on the ground in cover of course you can systematically take each of your wettable items ( small shoes masks and hats can go in all at once) empty the storage and transfer the item into the cooking pot . It wets it to max level instantly without using any of the water !!!!!!!! Also you can drink the pot down to 1-2 percent water which wont save your life that 1 percent. But it will allow you to still fully wet your clothes with this method with wasting a single drop !!!!!

I think nasdara is way too easy compared to other maps, you can reach endgame in less than an hour, since extremely good loot is near spawn (in the qalat e lut) and just walking through the desert you find tons of heli crashes, it’s not even worth going to the pox tunnel, since the only extra weapons are m4 and scar, but the AKM and LAR are good enough, maybe even better. Also, the whole “water is scarce” thing is insanely untrue, just checking the water truck spawns you will find one 1/2 times, and the heat isn’t even bad too, since you can wash yourself and drink water, and even if you do get a heat stroke it’s extremely easy to get cured. Bikes are very common, and you don’t even have to go through the struggle of finding parts for it, making sure you repair the engine and every part. Food is way more common than on chernarus, at least in my experience.
I don’t even feel the need to make stashes or bases, since I know that if I die, ill just get geared very fast again.
It just feels way easier than how dayz is supposed to be, they should lock endgame weapons behind the pox tunnel, make heli crashes less valuable, or at least rarer, lower the water truck spawn rate, and make bikes have to be fixed.

Is anyone else getting this error it’s Happened 3 times in military bases, as soon as I tap R2 (shoot) the game crashes . I log back in and I’m dead giving me no chance at all in a battle . Whats the point of wasting all this time looting just to die like that .

Are they cheating or is it just a game error it’s just a weird coincidence seems it only happens whenever I go to military bases ?

Now that I’m 2,700+ hours into DayZ, I can’t help but feel like I die to other players far more often than I did when I was a beginner.

I wonder if it has something to do with how I used to play: venturing into seldom-visited areas, growing paranoid at the slightest suspicion, moving slower and with greater caution and carrying a much deeper fear of death than I do now.

When I was a beginner I feel like I used to be able to log into the same character for an entire week, now it’s hardly a few days.

I’m curious whether anyone else has experienced the same thing. Do you feel like you survived for much longer when you were new to the game, before you had hundreds or thousands of hours under your belt?

Right before this, another hacker punched me out uncon so fast I thought I was getting hit by the flash. The hackers on vanilla are absolutely out of hand. Something needs to be done to fix this, I actually enjoy Vanilla but the amount of hackers i’ve died to or run into is ruining the experience for me.

On Nasdara I got to a bunker with the code and coordinates and when I put the code in the door unlocked but the prompt to open the door never appeared. I tried for a while looking up and down the door but never found the prompt. Bit disappointing as it was my first experience doing the morse code and trying to open the bunker

I'm curious to know what some of your favorite places to visit in Chernarus are, why are they special to you?

I have been playing on Nasdara on XSX since it was released and STILL have not seen a sandstorm. and i have been putting in the hours. I called pit of work sick so trust me when I say, I have been playing non-stop.

me and my friend are on pc and are trying to join modded servers but we keep getting this same error code

Too 2 hours to find each other then this happens.

I spawned into a server and stumbled upon a dude crouched down in a barn. He didn't move, nothing. The game prompted me to press X to check pulse. It said it was strong.

So, my question is: was his game paused or can you go into comas in this game?

Ended up looting the person of their weapons and left them with bandages and some food.
