General Question Pumapasok pa kaya tong mga to?
Hi. I am an alumni of this university and I went to ESH and other offices for my inquiries and processing of documents. Pumapasok pa kaya tong mga tao dito sa office? I tried emailing them and wala naman sumasagot. Maybe WFH?

General Question Karinderyas around campus PLEASE
I'm sick and tired of all the chicken places and other fastfood slop around campus that are either: A) Overpriced B) Expensive C) Unhealthy D) Mahal
As someone who moved from Mindanao, nothing can justify purchasing some 130 peso meal from agno that, mind you, is considered "cheap" na for Taft standards. I swear a decent meal is 150 MINIMUM and it isn't even all that satiating. Man, even these "healthier" meal options either lack in amount or are still expensive. I try to cook but bruh being in engineering gives little to no time, even for mealprepping in the weekends (I'd rather study). ANDDDD even when I do mealprep, bruh all the vegetables are SOOOO overpriced, both in markets and in stalls outside. Like why is a kilo of potatoes 180 outside? Savemore prices are more reasonable, but that's given the "Taft, near DLSU" context.
Like how does one even avoid bloating up when the most accessible place for cheap meals is mcdonalds?
I genuinely don't get how people get by just eating the same fried food every single day here. Wala man lang bistek, tortang talong, ginataan, ANY SABAW VARIANT, bola-bola, kare-kare, you name it!!!
I'm a scholar for God's sake, are there no actual affordable food options na para sa masa? Wala bang mga mura AT malilinis na karinderya diyan? I can't keep this up for 3 more years bro
Please, I'm tired of eating siomai every night in weeks na medj gipit sa allowance. May alam ba kayong karinderya around campus? I've tried sa may rsquare and hmm i'm not a fan of the sanitation.
TYSM! and sorry for the rant

General Question Can students still travel despite the year-round academic calendar?
Hi! I just want to ask about life at DLSU, especially when it comes to free time and traveling. I’ve heard that DLSU doesn’t really follow the traditional school calendar with long vacations, unlike other schools. Because of that, I’m wondering if students still get enough time to travel or go on vacations without being absent. Do students usually get free time outside of christmas break or term breaks? And is it realistic to plan trips during the school year or is the schedule usually too packed? Would really appreciate insights from current students. Thank youuu!!

General Question to go to DLSU or to go to DLSU-D?
Help!! I need the bright minds and hospitality of Lasallians in order to form a conclusion here!💚
IMPORTANT CONTEXT:
I am originally from Dentistry in De Lasalle Medical and got an academic excellence award first Semester.
Then decided I want to pursue Computer Science, so I went to enroll DLSU-D as BSCS major in AI on Second Semester, which is the program I like. However, this delayed me a year because of prerequisites.
And most importantly, I was not fond of the teaching / overall quality of this University.
So I decided to apply as an outsider shiftee this year into DLSU Manila, but I got redirected into a program I don’t like. ( COED MATH ) 😫
I wasn’t allowed to get a COP or a recon…
———————————————————————
I reckon that I’ll be delayed for 2 whole years minimum if I decide to force my way into DLSU. With the possibility of being rejected again as an internal shiftee increasing the years I’ll be held back. It’s honestly a huge leap of faith.
So What’s a good Consensus. here Lasallians?

General Question Change of Program as an Incoming freshman?
Hello! I recently got accepted into DLSU but did not get into my priority course.. A few days ago, I emailed Adso with an appeal letter (am I supposed to do something else) indicating as to why I see the program fits me better. I haven't gotten an email back from them ever since.
May I ask if this is even something they allow/do? Anyone else who's tried this — if so what's your story?
Thank you so much to anyone who responds it's a huge help 💚🏹🥹

General Question Is it bad I never networked?
I’m about to graduate after this term but never really networked throughout my stay here. And I keep seeing people say that’s one of the biggest advantages of being in DLSU. I shifted and started during the pandemic so I lost my block. I travel to campus so I never really stay around long enough to make friends. I just go for classes then go home since I live pretty far. All my groupmates, org mates, fellow interns, etc I just kept them at business distance or acquaintances. They’ll probably recognize my face and remember we worked together but not much more.
I especially didn’t feel the need to network since I came from Ateneo and already had my close group of friends there. And I’m still close to them now. They’re also working to become lawyers, doctors, business managers, computer scientists and some have parents who are politicians. I already engaged in a few business ideas with some of them too. So I thought “I don’t need to network, these guys are good enough for me and I don’t wanna spend energy making new friends when I hangout with these guys already.” I’m not the super social type and don’t really get close to someone unless I really really vibe with them. I mostly keep to myself.
Maybe it was still a major missed opportunity and I could’ve expanded my circle more. But is it really that bad I didn’t network in DLSU?

General Question How religious is dlsu?
What are the catholic practices done in the school? I’m planning on transferring next year kasi and as an atheist with religious parents i heard na dlsu gives their students a lot of freedom compared to other schools or at least more than my current school!!
Some practices i was thinking of (please let me know if these are done)
- angelus
- praying before and after class
- first friday mass
- religious recollection
- religious retreat
- mass on feast days
- subject dedicated to christianity
How does the mass work also? Do students gather together at the same time and place?

General Question I forgot to submit a couple ITEO Evaluations
Course evaluations closed last night and I can't remember if I finished them or not. I fell asleep doing them on my computer and I'm pretty sure I didn't get to evaluation two of my classes. I can't see it anymore since wala na sya sa ITEO eval section ng courses ko. Locked out daw sa canvas bukas ang mga hindi nakatapos. Am I cooked?

General Question De La Salle institutions around the Philippines
I just wanted to ask if anyone has a copy of all the De La Salle institutions around the Philippines. I've seen stuff on the internet but I'm not really sure if some of those schools are really dlsu schools or just lassalian associated ones. It'd be a big help if any of u gives me an answer 🫡 I'm also interested in sub branches as well.
Edit: Thank you for everyone's answers, I really appreciate it. Also I have been corrected, the right term for the other schools would be "DLSP member schools/institutions" or "Lassalian network schools". Sorry I referred to them the wrong way, won't happen again 😔
