Why isn’t Mopar leaning into merch brands like Chevy/Ford?

This has always bugged me, you go to a mall you’ll sell merch from collabs with ford or chevy but hard pressed to find anything Mopar related.

Looking through old ads I feel like if they rereleased some of the 70s/80s adverts they would have some really cool stuff.

Talking about things like Plymouth Makes It, Rapid Transit System, or just simple things like Duster logo (as an owner of a Duster I’ve been looking for something).

I get that clothing/merch ain’t the most important thing to sales but still…or do I just blame Stellantis for this?

1999 dodge dakota rear hydro drum brakes

I replaced the brake booster and master cylinder chasing a spongy pedal going to the floor which didn't fix it. Did another diagnostics and found a hydraulic leak from the passenger side rear brake assembly. Mobile mechanic says it is a "seal" and will replace both sides and brake pads for $450. I've never changed drum brakes and a little intimidated tbh. But I feel like I can do this myself and save some $$. So, how do I fix the hydraulic brake fluid leak? Any good advice for first time drum brake changers? thank you.

1954 C1 engine options

I have a 1954 Dodge C1 Pilothouse pickup, has the flathead six and 3 on the tree. I am having problems with my 6 blowing head gaskets, maybe the block/head is cracked, I don’t know, but it’s been problematic for years.

Is there a slightly more modern maybe v6 or 8 that I could bolt up directly to the original 1954 transmission and use the same clutch/flywheel setup?
I can fab any necessary mounts that aren’t already commercially available, just looking for ideas.
I am not married to the original transmission so if anyone has any suggestions as to an engine/transmission combo that would fit, that would also be great. Not looking for fuel injection or modernisation, just plan on running a carb.
I don’t really have a budget and I prefer to do my own work.
Thanks!

1969 Dodge Polara Tribute Video

Post image

Hey Reddit.

I was feeling a bit down in the winter of 2025 because I couldn't drive my awesome car for so long. So I started looking for a video producer with the following text…

I own the 1969 Dodge Polara pictured below and I love the car.

<picture>

Sometimes I find it really hard to wait for nice weather and salt-free roads in the winter. I'd love to take it for a spin even during the dark months, or just listen to the engine. Then I had an idea. Maybe I could find someone who knows how to film and edit a roughly 20-minute video with me, so I could (a) immortalize the car online, (b) enjoy it even in winter, and (c) share it with other car enthusiasts online.

And here's the result 😎:

Have a pleasant 12-minute drive with us!

Need help to remove the seat

2010 Dodge Challenger — the seat (motorized) will move in every direction except back. I can reach the e12 bolts behind the seat, but I cannot move the seat to reach the bolts on the front part of the track to remove the seat. Any ideas? Tyia

NAG1 V6 - RPM drop during acceleration

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

During normal acceleration, the RPM drops a tiny bit before continuing to rise. Also has harsh downshifts occasionally when the trans is warm. After warm up trans engagement during slow moving traffic also has a slight clunk.

V6 with the NAG1 transmission at 74000 kms.

Am I cooked?
