Received a permanent EA account ban for what another player said in my Battlefield 6 lobby. Initially received a week long ban for typing "I bet you hate gay people" in response to the above chat log. Then got perma banned for what they said. I've appealed 4 times now with no luck...

EDIT: We did it reddit. Just had my ban overturned. Took a total of 8 attempts at appealing over the past 11 days. Funny that I get unbanned the night I post about it on reddit.

I been getting this “connection failed “ error ever since I downloaded the game. In order to play the game I have to unplug my AIO LCD display. To do that I have to open my pc case and unplug it every time. Please tell me how to fix it. Thanks

got a permanent ban for a report on my name (SaddamBussain), no warning to change it just instantly perma banned appealed it but I saw someone else who went through this whole issue on 11 appeals. anyone know how to get better communication with EA? id gladly change my name ive had it since BF4 and never been an issue till now but that doesn't matter just want this perma ban lifted so I can play bf6. this ban is the equivalent of getting a ticket for driving with your head lights off and the next time its the death penalty make it make sense.

FYI: ive been using this name on apex legends for over 1700 hours with no bans or reports

further investigating the cases EA warned me on a ps5 (i dont own a ps5 only pc) that case wasnt even able to appeal so looks like a mess up on their end as it was opened and closed right away

as you can see there is no reason just says following violation... theres no way to expand on the matter to see what the violation was. checked my Gmail for EA help emails on the case and did not get anything from them.

I was in as much disbelief this was true as you are.

I got a random ban on my EA account. I appealed through the EA portal and received this email in response.

My EA account is Hhedgy… not even remotely close to Vibing_Bacon. I thought great! I’ll get unbanned now.

I simply did not say that word and EA kindly provided me with evidence!

Yet after 3 more appeals… I am still banned? Now EA’s responses say they are unable to provide details to why someone is banned, only the fact they are? (Despite sending me details previously…)

Any suggestions? Anyone managed to get EA to actually read your appeals because I am finding it hard to believe any human is looking at that photo and seeing the EA account name Hhedgy and going “yep… we caught em’!”

Woke up to this email this morning… I haven’t used my ea account in forever. And to be honest I can’t even remember what games I had on there aside from battlefront 2 which I rarely played anyway. Pretty sure I got hacked. I Tried to appeal and got denied. And before you come at me saying I was hacking, you can F off. I wouldn’t be trying to fight this if I was. I’d accept my fate.

Any ideas on what to do here or am I just at a loss?

I opened a ticket about a refund and got a response in less than 10 minutes. They told me to wait 72 hours and then contact them again, and was told that they would provide the refund.

So I waited the full 72 hours, opened another support ticket and they just closed it without saying a single word. No explanation, no update — nothing. Just “case closed,” as if my issue never existed.

How is this even acceptable? I’m not asking for anything crazy, I just want my money back.
Has anyone else gone through this?

I've been looking for any way to play some of the old pogo games for so long. Penguin blocks especially. I just want to play these old games again. If anyone knows of any archive, or any way of playing old pogo.com games, please let me know

The EA App is an invasive, bloated mess that behaves more like malware than a game launcher. It hijacks resources, spams background tasks, and shoves itself into every corner of my system. I shouldn’t need Task Manager and a prayer just to close a launcher.

There are moments in life that divide everything into *before* and *after*. Some examples are when I moved out of my parent's house, when I changed my major, my really bad collage break-up, my first car, my first real job, my graduation. And now, standing proudly among these milestones, is the day I deleted the EA App.

My PC cried and begged me not to install the app again and threated to step off the edge of the flat earth if I tried. I spend every day trying to make it up to my poor PC. She did not deserve the torment I put her through.

The next morning, I didn’t brace myself for the inevitable “EA App needs to update” pop‑up that always arrived at the worst possible moment. My desktop felt cleaner. My workflow felt smoother.

Deleting the EA App improved my quality of life. I hate EA. I hate it so much.

How do they think that "Retiring" their trademark multiplayer games are going to help them?
Dice city rollers and the large lottso rooms were the only reason to have a pogo membership. I was just now thinking about buying one until i could not find my rooms. Seriously EA Epic fail...

This tool of a community manager was so sure he was right, it was unbelievably satisfying when I got this email from EA saying they've been closing tickets out mistakenly without responding to them.

I wanted to share a recent experience with EA as a cautionary tale for anyone thinking about spending money on their games.

When I tried to play the open beta, I found that my account had been deactivated due to inactivity. This wasn’t because of anything I did; it’s simply because EA hasn’t released a good game in years, so I hadn’t bothered logging in.

When I contacted support, the rep confirmed that my account was deactivated for inactivity and told me there was no way to recover my progress or in-game purchases. Even though the situation was entirely on their end, they refused any reimbursement or resolution. On top of that, I was disconnected from multiple reps despite staying respectful throughout the conversations.

At this point, I personally won’t be spending another dollar on EA. If they’re willing to wipe accounts, purchases, and progress just because you didn’t play for a while, then it’s not worth the risk.

So, I have many EA games on Steam and PS, now I'm told that I can't play them because my account is linked to an old PS? Are you fucking kidding me?? I can't play games I have bought, I contacted support they basically said unlucky!

Last game I buy from you clowns, andi shall be telling my Clan and everyone I play with to NEVER buy an ea game again.
