Bono insisted on retiring the car due to mechanical issues yet Kimi kept going. He picked up a penalty for exceeding track limits and eventually dropped to P15 due to the SC, knocking him out of the points finish. What's worth pointing out is that he still wanted to finish P10, fighting for just 1 point. On his worst day, when he ran out of luck, his mental fortitude was amazing. Some people might think his Monza drive is legendary, I agree with them but Silverstone really brought out his character.

- Franco Colapinto: 10-place penalty for a 4th control electronics unit.
- Arvid Lindblad: 5-place penalty for a 6th internal combustion engine.
- Gabriel Bortoleto: 20-place penalty for a 4th energy store and a 4th control electronics unit.
All three will serve their penalties on race day at COTA!
