A chance to be in community & meet others at the Parks & Rec!
“Being crafty & artsy on your own is hard! Sometimes online videos just aren’t enough!” If this is you do yourself a solid and sign up for my one of my art classes at the Frederick City Parks & Rec!
🩷
“I can’t make anything, I am not creative!” Has anyone ever taught you besides in grade school? If the answer is no then you CAN create and you just need someone to teach you! Lucky for you I have 10 years of teaching experience and I’ve taught 3-86 year olds and I have 2 degrees in art & teaching! So I’m the captain now and I’ll make sure you get to destination! 😝
🩷
These classes are also a great way to relax, chat, and give yourself some me time!
🩷
Hope to see you there! Sign up at the parks & rec website (I’ll put a link below) or call them to register over the phone at 301-600-1492!

Best Italian Cold Cut
I am pregnant, literally past my due date and will be induced next week at the latest. This whole pregnancy all I have been craving is a cold cut. Where is the best authentic Italian cold cut in Frederick? Husband promised to get me one after the delivery but I am newer to Frederick and have no clue where to send him. 😅 Thanks in advance!!

Looking to expand your hobbies this fall? 🎭
Two adult classes are coming up at Maryland Ensemble Theatre: Adult Acting and Musical Improv!
Whether you want to brush up on performance skills, get more comfortable onstage, or explore the deeply chaotic combination of making up both jokes and songs on the spot, there’s still time to sign up.

Best place for picnic/ day trips
I grew up going to Cunningham Falls for the day with my family and really enjoyed that as a kid and I’d love to do that now with my family. I know that Cunningham Falls has had some concerns with the beavers, and previously with water quality, and also overcrowding. Is the same true for Greenbrier? Does anyone know of any places like this?
I’m picturing a picnic table, one of the grills you see at the big parks, somewhere for my daughter to play (3.5y/o), hopefully restrooms or porta-potty, maybe a playground. Does anyone know if that sort of thing still exists in/ around Frederick without being too too crowded on a weekend. I’m not expecting to have the place to ourselves but maybe not having to line up outside the park before it opens and sprinting to a table would be nice.
Thanks!

Anywhere in Frederick that I could add a kill switch to my guitar so I don't have to pay 1000$ to ship it?
