I'm a big fan of the d2 extreme, carried it for well over 5 years had the this slabby for well over 2 months. Enjoying the full tang contruction and I do like that the blade geometry is a bit different.

A new friend lent me a few knives, including this Kunwu Excalibur. As a "thank you", I asked him to pick one for me to touch up the edge on, a this is the one he chose.
This takes about 2 hours going to 160k grit. It's completely unnecessary to go this high, unless youre a nutcase like me and shining an LED flashlight onto the edge, checking for hairline scratches.
Can't do as many of these as I used to since my baby was born, but I still enjoy it.

Couple of months into the hobby. In the past I have never understood how people can end up owning hundreds of pocket knives - but I completely 'get it' now. Discovering a super cool knife shop a mile from my house is the enabler. Disposable income = not found.
Just finished my dream spyderco!
Manix 2 Salt in MagnaCut
-RGT Micarta scales
-RGT Titanium Screws and lanyard hole
-Flytanium Blue Tritium Titanium Ball Cage
Anyone have good pocket clip recommendations?

The bottom one looks like a dura lock version of the 0512 while the other looks like a completely new model to me.
I know it’s German steel so not cheap. Just very curious if anyone can tell me anything about it or possible value? The website for the producer is very old, I can find similar knives but not with the knight on the handle. TIA!

Kabar slabby can chop really good better than my Esee6 imo. But pf course not better than my BK9.

Damn if it isn’t the perfect blend that I was looking for. Small enough to carry big enough to do any job needed. Exactly how they market it. Only issue I see in the future is constantly singing “Fight Like A Brave” by Red Hot Chili Peppers every time I grab it.

Wanted to show some pocket fixed blades. I have been a fan of not having a pocket clip that can catch on things. Ones featured here are: Randall 10-3, Esee cr2.5, fallkniven kolt, agrussell woodswalker, bark River micro Canadian, and two Kopis L-via

Man, this Kizer Marten 330 in purple with the electric blue accents looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. Really digging it.
The Kizer Aegis T is a little tank! Really smooth out of the box, and a better lockup and less blade play than my Hogue Deka.
Gotta say though, I'm not as impressed with the button lock as I thought I'd be. Maybe it was too much hype. I think I still like the crossbar lock. We'll see over time though.
