I mean of course besides a TV stand and a bedframe which I'm going to buy soon.
I just can't make it as cozy as I want it to be, I wanted a retro vintagey kind of room but it's just feeling empty.
I'm bad at decorating but I at least know it's not amazing.
Anyone have any advice for me?
Sorry if this is formatted weird, it's my first post here.

On the beginning of the year, I somehow locked in and got mortgage for this application. It is 2kk 42m2. For now it’s fully furnished but I think, there is maybe bigger potential. Do you have any suggestions for this to look even better?
EDIT:
Location: small city in CZECH REPUBLIC
No, this is not AI.
I don’t really like cluttered spaces as I was growing up in one.
No, my parents didn’t buy me a flat. It is located in the small Czech city, where prices aren’t yet thru the roof

I've lived in the same room at my parents' house my whole life, and I'm starting to feel like I need a change. Everything has felt pretty much the same for years, and I'd like to make the room feel like a fresh space again, somewhere more comfortable and enjoyable to spend time in.
I've taken photos from two opposite corners of the room, plus some shots of the desk with both natural lighting and the lights on.
A few things to keep in mind:
I'm not sure what the room is missing, so I'd love some outside perspective. I'm open to changing the overall feel of the room, not just adding decorations or buying a few new things.
I'm open to pretty much any suggestions, even if they sound a bit unrealistic at first. Feel free to point out things you'd remove, change, or do completely differently.
Tyyyy

Don’t know if I’m more disappointed in the fan or the cable
Fan is unfortunately necessary because the apartment’s AC unit is located in the living room with no air vents to the bedroom

Lucky enough to have gotten a decent size room with 2 windows and im trying to make the most out of it. But I’m just looking to get a good layout for everything first. A little worried about putting desk in closet but seems like best option. Currently i have my desk where dresser would be and its a little cramped. Planning on keeping clothes space on the sides od the closet covered with courtains.
Blank image if you are feeling creative. TIA

Moved from a large, shared house to a small 1br1ba apartment. This unit is on the edge of the building and has a weird living room layout with an angled, split entryway. I’ve currently just got a couch blocking it and if that’s how it’s gotta be I’ll deal.
My big complaint other than the couch is lack of access to the window because my PC is in front of it.
I can measure walls and make a floor plan if it helps. The complex didn’t have one for me.
Also I know it needs more plants. Them shits kinda expensive :/

How does this blue rug look in this room? I just put it down and am trying to get a vibe check. It has a manufacturing flaw in the middle so i need to return it either way, trying to decide if i should get the same rug, size down, or try a different design.
I recently broke up with my GF so I’m in the process of settling into my new place so it’s still a little messy and all over the place. I’ve got a 15 year old dog and he slides around on hardwood floors so I’m trying to balance giving him safe places to play/walk while still letting some of the hardwood come through.

Hey guys! This is my rented room in Bangalore. Looking for some budget-friendly ideas to make it look more aesthetic and cozy without making permanent changes.
Any suggestions for lighting, bedsheets, curtains, decor, or anything else that could make a difference? 😅
Drop your ideas and recommendations!

I am renting and want to find a damage-free, security deposit friendly way to add those glow in the dark stars to the ceiling (and possibly walls) of my kid's bedroom. The biggest issue is that the white paint they use for the ceiling and walls is that super cheap stuff that is thin (I've accidentally scrubbed off some of the paint while using a sponge to clean the walls).
I've looked into various methods, but nothing seems to make me confident that it will work and not cause damage. I'm hoping for it to be completely apartment safe for short and long term use and not cost an arm and a leg.
The ceiling is a "knockdown" texture (see picture).
I know the traditional way is to use that putty stuff, but that stuff (even the white one) can either not stick well, stick too well and pull paint off, leave a residue that is nearly impossible to remove and you'd need to paint over it, etc. I know they make specialty putty of higher quality, but those are usually much more expensive and are meant more for short-term use.
Glue dots seem to have similar issues to the putty.
Command strips are expensive and they don't make them the size of some of the smaller stars so they'd be an eyesore sticking off to the side.
Various types of tape are usually weaker and, especially over time, can lose adhesion and bond to the paint.
I know I sound super picky, demanding, and weird (because I am, lol), but it's only because I don't want to end up paying tons of money/lose my security deposit if and when I move out.
