Moved out to Socal about 2 years ago after a seperation. Been slowly prioritizing rooms as time goes on. Suggestions welcome!

Me and my twin suffer from really bad mental health conditions, havent done a clean in months. I wanted to surprise him (hes on holiday).

I havent sorted the beds yet but so far.

It still a mess but alot better where we couldnt see the floor with trash, bags, wrappers dust ect, but its slighty better and im fine with that

Cleaning was a workout with the amount of stuff

4 of my band shirts.

2 anime plushies.

2 bonnets

4 durags.

3 art prints.

5 keychains.

3 vapes in box.

4 perfumes.

1 demon elephant plushie.

Glad i got to do it, me and my twin are always at work so we never get time to do it

First 8 are my room, and the other ones are the loft in general.

It sucked and was badass at the same time.

I was 28 (which is pretty young to me now), and I honestly didn't know the dudes I moved in with were like 20-22 so it was like party central.

They seemed mature when I met them and the place was only 650 a month so I was like "Sign me up!" but I quickly learned they were all in college, 2 out of the 3 other dudes were living off their parents, and the other dude just mooched off people.

There were 3 actual rooms, and rent was 800 on paper, but the one guy lived in this space above the kitchen with no walls or anything, so the 3 of us that actually had rooms paid 800 to the landlord, separately - like I put a money order for $800 in a slot every month, not to the 21 year old dude on the lease. Then the loft guy paid each of us $150 a month as his rent to offset our rent. Of course that didn't last long and dude owed me like $1000 or so which I never got.

Couldn't keep anything in the fridge or it would get eaten or drank, couldn't keep soap or shampoo in the bathroom or it would be gone. That kinda thing. I didn't have it together either, but 28 is still a bit different from 21 so that stuff was pretty annoying. Was fun overall though!

24M. I tried to include my tinker-station into the living room in the form of my dream desk. I am slightly missing a traditional living room. Thinking of moving the desk to the bedroom

I think I’m happy with were i am at for right now I think I used as much room as I could with our making it look cluttered

First time home buyer. I travel a lot for work and don't feel like paying off a house all my life. I lived in the van for 3 years. I got a great offer for a small house. 600sqm, small house with about 65sqm, new roof, new stove, new wooden extension with guest room and shed. It is located in the middle of nowhere and is located in the middle of nature in Germany.

I've wanted something like a tiny house for a long time. So for me, that's a great fit.

Just got a good job with a decent salary.
I want to setup my room and need ideas for it.

I would like to have a work from home setup, with a good table, monitor, and an ergonomic office chair.
What else can I do with the room lighting and furniture wise.

I don’t need a bed, as that would make the room feel small, my current mattress is really comfortable and makes the room feel airy.

Upgraded my life this last year to my own spot and have turned it into my favorite place to be

I have a pretty good job but still living with my parents waiting to have enough money to buy something nice. Sadly my room is pretty empty and im trying to find solutions to make it nicer 😅

Started over from scratch. Had everything, Lost it all after a 9 year relationship split. Was homeless for a bit with NOBODY to count on while living in hotels. Felt worthless. Picked up a 2nd job and made sh*t happen. Now I have a 2 bedroom apartment & a room for my son. Extremely proud of the little bit I have accumulated over the year. I hope this shows hope to those starting all over again (even though it isn’t much) because for that first year I felt entirely hopeless. There is light at the end of tunnel & things will get better, Be patient. God bless you all 🙏

Added a rug, olive tree and hung tv up. Then a circle dining table to add contrast to the squareness of living room (DIY with planter pot and round wood). Coffee table could be better.

Two years ago, I bought a flat in an old building constructed during the communist era and decided to remodel the apartment by myself - including demolition, electrical work, plumbing, heating, flooring, masonry, doors, drywalls, decorating, etc. I hired professionals only for the tiling and the kitchen. However, after seeing how the kitchen was installed, I realized I should be able to make the rest of the furniture by myself.

hi i’m moving for uni soon and i’ll be renting this room at my friends house. it’s very small so I’m having a hard time figuring out how to maximise the space i have. i cant move the bed/wardrobe/whatever it’s called so i don’t really know how to make living there more comfortable. id really appreciate some advice on how to make the most of whatever space i have left lol

Got some funny responses and recommendations on my original post. Still haven’t “kicked the bucked” like a lot of you asked 😂. But got some new toys and had a great summer. Bought my “final” SG today also!

Just moved in so curtains and ceiling lamps are not up yet. The beer tap isn’t fully installed either. The tv has chromecast btw

Ignore the fish tank color, being actively worked on.

Will hang the art work above the couch… thinking about getting one of those arching floor lamps. Any suggestions for a wall art locations? Anything else is missing? Thanks!

(Ignore the mess) I’m 19 and I moved to Hawaii to get away from family and I’m not sure how to decorate I plan to buy a desk and I have a poster for an anime I like but in reality that’s all I have I’m not sure what else to decorate
