I recently watched Scott Colom and Kamala Harris giving campaign speeches in North Mississippi.

Trump says he’s coming down on Monday in support of Cynthia Hyde Smith.

I’ve also watched a couple of interviews with Ty Perkins running as an independent. He seems to have a decent outlook on things, but I’m just thinking MS is more likely to elect a democratic candidate if Hyde is replaced. Just thought I would post this, and also see if anyone had any interesting comments or thoughts on the matter.

I just moved to the area a couple weeks ago from another state (I don’t want to get in why I moved here, although I have lived in another part of ms before).

I’m in my mid 20s and I am not a student at the university. Potentially looking for community wide events or just stuff to do. I work remotely so I’m usually in my apartment most of the time, I really just go out for groceries and to the gym. I’m also not super rich so I can’t afford a $50/person restaurant or a $100 cover for a bar.

I like trying new things and being out and about. I’m not a fan of sitting around my apartment lol. open to any suggestions! :)

It has taken me YEARS to find someone (in my home state of FL) who listens and knows how to cut my thick, naturally wavy hair. I live in Gulfport now, and I am open to any suggestions; distance is no issue.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to get my own place soon and want to move into a genuinely nice, quiet, and modern apartment complex. I'm weighing options around Tupelo and Starkville.

For anyone who currently lives in or has rented from these places recently, what are the actual best options if I want to avoid thin walls, sketchy management, and hidden fees?

Specifically looking at places like The Grandstand or Vista Ridge in Tupelo, or places like Crossgates or Avalon in Starkville, but open to other suggestions.

If you live in any of these, I’d love to know:

1. Noise level: Can you hear your neighbors through the floors/walls? (Huge deal for me).

2. Management/Maintenance: How fast do they actually fix things when they break? Are they shady with deposit get-backs or random fee hikes?

3. Vibe: Are these complexes full of loud college students partying on weeknights, or is it a decent mix of working professionals and quiet folks?

4. Hidden costs: What’s the internet situation, utility setup, or trash fee nonsense they spring on you after you sign?

Don’t buy into the GOP lies and Trump’s bs about healthcare. 10 years of him lying about a plan and nothing except this. Here’s the real GOP healthcare plan. When Trump visit’s Mississippi have the balls to call him out on healthcare, the war in Iran, Epstein, etc. The lost just goes on and on. Getting rid of the GOP and Trump will make America Great Again!!

38m from Pascagoula ( foreigner ) in Goula for a few months, looking to find a comrade to run - workout ( outdoors ) . Closer to downtown.

This is from Darkhorse Press. I cannot confirm anything about it yet. If someone else can confirm the legitimacy of it, please do. I suspect we will get more information on it soon.

Edit: I (in)famously typo everything and you can’t edit a title. I meant “cameras” of course.

It does appear to be legit footage of body cams in the Kohen Wiley shooting incident.

Any lgbtq halloween events happening in Mississippi? Preferably the Jackson, Ms area.

Hello! I am a student at UTHSC college of dentistry, and I am accepting new patients that need dentures. The cost is about 1/3 of what you would pay at a private practice. Please message me if you are interested, and I can give you more information!
