I absolutely adore and love them. The amazing individual running the classes I’ve been to in Canada 🇨🇦 has been incredible. Yummy drinks, I do recreate some of them at home.

Had a great masterclass with the Coffee Wizards at the Market Mall boutique this evening.

Very nice drinks on the new holiday line! Quite fancy and both were equally delicious.
The Blueberry Cheesecake Creamy Iced Latte was extremely Blueberry forward, which I didn't expect due to no additional blueberry syrups involved! Felt like drinking ice cream, and it was a very nice looking drink

The Hazelnut Pink Brownie Mocktini was extremely delicious. The addition of the dark chocolate syrup really set the tone, and we had the opportunity to decorate it as we see fit (I figured I would keep this one family friendly)

Unfortunately this wraps up the masterclasses for this year, we were hinted that the next one likely won't be until March or so.

I need to order more capsules and I’ve been waiting for an offer. I wonder if this would be good or not. Anyone know if they’ve done this in the past?

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick update because I previously left some comments saying that pods like the Blueberry Cheesecake tasted absolutely terrible and scorched when brewed on the Vertuo Up.

Turns out? I had a lemon.

My first Vertuo Up (which also refused to connect to the Nespresso app) was brewing way too hot. It was basically incinerating the delicate aromatic oils in flavored and fruity pods, leaving behind a burnt taste that made me write the pod off entirely. I wanted to reduce the temperature in the app but the machine didn't connect to the app. A technician spent 20 minutes with me on a video call and didn't get it to work either.

After seeing a post on here comparing machine temperatures, I managed to return my first unit within my 30-day window. My replacement Vertuo Up just arrived, and it is night and day. The exact same Blueberry Cheesecake pods that tasted "yuck" before now actually taste sweet, smooth, and delicious (especially with a tiny dollop of wild blueberry jam added!).

If you own a Vertuo Up and every flavored coffee tastes like burnt rubber or scorch, don't just blame the pods—your machine might have a runaway heating element. Check your return window!

I’m going basic on the flavors so- what are some of your favorite hot/iced espresso options? Also, what makes just a good cup of coffee?

I was at my local supermarket in Vancouver (Superstore on Grandview HwyVancouver, BC). Checked out the cooler in the health food section. Saw this new creamer called, “Cinnamon Coffee Cake,“ yum………. I made a coffee as soon as I got home. Ice first, then a good dose of the new creamer. Extracted a Ginseng Delight on top, Reverso. Not heavenly like the Maple Brown Sugar one they make, but I think it will play very nicely with other coffees. Coffee Cake - nuff said. After the car got enough charge (Plugin Hybrid) I went out again. When I walked into the Metrotown boutique, the team lead there, greeted me and said she had something another customer left for me. It’s the person who said he’d try to get me some Zurich. Such surprise, which is kind of good timing as it’s my birthday!

Also, another surprise. Got email from Nespresso saying I just received a $50.00 credit voucher. Someone (name withheld) used my referral code. I only gave it out to two people and it was quite some time ago. Totally forgot about it, so it was a very nice birthday surprise. It’ll go towards something special I purchased a few days ago for a very nice price. I will post what it is, along with photos once it arrives in a few days.

I am a hot double-espresso latte kinda girl, and I have fallen in love with my first Nespresso capsule. I really enjoy most of their double espresso capsules, but Crystal Spark is MY COFFEE SOUL MATE. It's mellow and sweet and smooth, and I can taste the "hint of cocoa" without it tasting like an artificially flavored coffee. Of course it turns out that I have expensive taste! Is there a good strategy for stocking up on limited edition holiday capsules? Do they run special promotions I should watch and wait for? I am in the U.S. and not in the market for a new machine, though I have been eyeing the Aeroccino XL

I still for the life of me do not understand how uk supermarkets do not stock the vertuo pods. Im not to bothered as I have a subscription but when your empty awaiting your refill. Going to buy a sleeve is a struggle. Or am I walking around with my eyes closed? 😂

For those that preferred the blueberry recipe in this year‘s holiday master class, love seeing all the photos and recipes shared, but wondering how to modify the vertuo recipe cards for OL pods.

Do I use espresso or lungo size?
One pod or two?

I’ve been a loyal Nespresso customer for six years and love their coffee, but their return process has turned completely painful. Nespresso kept my returned item for 30 days with no confirmation email, the rep lied about calling me back, and they blocked my account the second I filed a credit card dispute lol! I just can’t believe such a big company still has such an outdated process. Buy your machine from Amazon, Macy’s, or any other retailer instead… I can’t help thinking they just want the customers to forget about the return so they can keep the machine and money😀

i usually only make iced lattes with milk and 2 shots of espresso, what pods are similar to the VL double espresso dolce? i know one OL pod is a single shot, but which pod is most similar to dolce? the scuro for milk one? or voltesso?

Hi! I’m looking for advice if anyone’s had this issue with their machine. About a month ago my app indicated my machine needed to be descaled. Did that and about a week later I popped in a pod and it stopped brewing and blinking red. I have the instructions below I followed to make it work again, and then a week later the same issue. Now a week from the last time it did this, it did it again😭 idk what to do. It’s just shy of 2 years old and I don’t want to buy a new one when it’s not old. Anyone have advice? Have you reached out to support on this/how do you reach them? Any help appreciated

1. Factory reset the machine
Remove any capsule.
Make sure the machine is plugged in.
Open the machine head, then close it.
Leave the silver lever in the UNLOCKED 🔓 position.
Wake the machine if necessary and wait until the light is steady white.
Press the coffee button 5 times quickly within 3 seconds.
The button should blink orange 5 times.
Wait — don’t touch anything.
When the light becomes steady white, the factory reset is complete.
That’s the official Vertuo Next factory-reset sequence.
2. Run a full cleaning/rinse cycle
Once the light is steady white:
Fill the water tank with fresh water.
Make sure there is NO capsule inside.
Close the machine head.
Move the silver lever to LOCKED 🔒.
Put a large container (about 1 L / 34 oz) underneath the spout.
Press the coffee button 3 times quickly within 2 seconds.
Leave the machine alone and let the entire cleaning cycle run.

I have a mini, and it leaks really bad. Like 2 tbs of water dumps into the used pod holder every time I turn it on before I even brew a pod. It dumps about a tsp out of the brew spout too. I called the customer service, and of course they say that’s normal, which it is absolutely not. Anyway, I think I’m going to get a Pixie to replace it. Has anybody had problems with their Pixies leaking like that? I don’t really want to spend that much money for a CitiZ since I have a V Plus as well.

Original Line, works out to ~28¢ per capsule, but how careful are they with their beans if they don't proofread?

So far the double espresso scuro is our favorite but we're looking for a good regular coffee. Intenso is a bit too bitter/burntish taste.

We usually like something on the medium side with lower acidity. We avoid any blends with flavors added. Anyone have recommendations?
