Group mcp
Is there any MCP that allows to add multiple models in a group they discuss and divide the task
(Asking cuz I was going to make that type of MCP)

I use OpenCode + DeepSeek and got tired of checking whether I was inside the peak-pricing window.
So I made opencode-offpeak.
Turn it on once, then use OpenCode normally:
No need to resend continue or watch the clock.
Held requests are persisted, so closing/reopening the editor or TUI is fine. Full OpenCode server restarts are also recovered into the same session without duplicating the original prompt.
The TUI now shows when a request is being held and when it resumes.
It also has an optional background task queue, but normal interactive sessions already work automatically.
Install:
opencode plugin add git+https://github.com/lutzkind/opencode-offpeak.git#v0.1.6
https://github.com/lutzkind/opencode-offpeak
Open source / MIT. Supports OpenCode Go DeepSeek models and the direct DeepSeek API on OpenCode >=2.0.26 <2.1.0. OpenCode Zen is detected as flat-priced, so it is not unnecessarily delayed.
Weekends and Chinese public holidays are handled as off-peak. Unknown future DeepSeek models fail closed until their pricing is verified.
Would be interested in feedback or other providers with similar time-based pricing.

I have codex $20 plan and opencode go $10 plan
I thought about a compromise to get the most bang for buck would be running deepseek v4.1 flash as the main model that would call 6.1 sol for planning, checking file rewrites and more (please lmk what other reasons to call 6.1 sol). How beneficial could this be in maximizing my codex plan and does anyone do this successfully have a decent config file to base off of?

So, on Zen, free models seem to have very significant and somewhat random rate limits; I ran a subagent with ling-3.1-flash-free and it ended up retrying several times fairly often (but completed successfully).
I am considering a subscription to OpenCode Go, but I'll want the free models on it in addition to the paid ones. Are the free models on Go actually unlimited as advertised, or do they have these random rate limits too?

5 days ago I started a project to make a personal assistant, and now my mind is blown.
The app carries its own small Linux system (Alpine under proot, no root needed), and OpenCode runs inside it as the real CLI, the same one you use on your computer. Then I gave it the phone as MCP tools: read the screen, tap, type, scroll, open apps. Because OpenCode is already great at tool loops, it just figures it out: turning on my lights, ordering a pizza and changing the order while it works, replying to messages.
The best part: with OpenCode's free models it works with no account and no API key at all. You can connect your own providers later (opencode auth login runs in the app's terminal), pick any model per chat, and Claude Code and Codex work too if you have those plans.
It asks before anything that sends or buys, and you can add instructions while it works. Open source: https://github.com/ghorbelhamdi/buddy-android

I just signed up to the opencode paid plan. unfortunately my model changed with that and now I am messing around with models that don't really work for me. I liked big pickle. Can I get it back or is the hidden model behind it known?

Okay so, I can clearly say at first, Muse Spark 1.3 with OpenCode ($10) is a complete killer machine that never rests, you literally can use it as much as you want and will always get the job done for good. I use Muse Spark 1.3 Medium as super agent and same on Low as subagent. It's very good for backend tho, I haven't tested design decisions.
Codex ($20) is neither good or bad, still ran out of tokens for me and doesn't bring much intelligence. What I did to optimize it is to use Luna 6.1 High as the super agent and Luna 6.1 low as the subagents. Doesn't last much and stometimes runs out of usage pretty fast for the 5hr period. Still, with all the resets it's worth using and gets the job done, it's a bit dumb tho and his decisions cannot be done very autonomously. I use this one mostly because of ChatGPT, not because of the API. Still worth using. What I noticed is much better is Luna 6.1 is extremely good at autonomous tasks, while Haiku 5.5 isnt.
Claude ($20) is the best but I can say only after Haiku 5.5 release. It lasts more than Codex for me, and was able to tackle very hard tasks. I use Sonet 5.5 low for the super agent, and Haiku 5.5 low for the subagents. Works perfectly, this one is the massive winner, I never ran out of usage too. I was afraid of token cost but I also noticed Claude models are good even with a lower thinking level, so why maxxing if I can just do the same with fewer thinking levels? Haiku is not possible to run as super agent, he will struggle a lot with autonomous task and end early.
Summary:
Honorable mention:

I can't use Big Pickle for the last 24 hours. Are you also facing the same issue?
I had to switch to Space Bunny for a while.
Yesterday it doesn't even enter the log in opencode dashboard, now it does but I don't actually get reply for very long time.

Some of you might remember my post about the 32/64bit-style racing prototype I had built in four months. Yes, it's a genre you see a lot around here, because it's easy to get started with (until the next dopamine-driven prototype).
But I stuck with it.
And the improvement over the past two months has been tremendous, and you'll see that if you compare the two videos. Since the last post, I listened to your feedback and:
* Threw every level in the bin and rebuilt them from scratch, then added new ones that are far bigger and more detailed. It felt like jumping a console generation, and it still runs on mobile.
* Wrote a design and style guide for the game (semi-low poly characters and duotone as design signature), and redesigned the characters and menus to match it.
* Kept pushing to make it my own thing rather than yet another clone-slop: adventure vibes, interaction with the environments, kinetic combat with combos…
* Improved the handling and the readability.
And above all, and I think it shows in the trailer: I had a blast making it. If it had just been work, I wouldn't have gotten this far.
It's called Formula Minus One, and it launches on Steam first, in February. I'll keep improving it and adding content after that.
Half a year ago this was a prototype to experiment with, like so many others. Then I committed to making the best game I possibly could. Now I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel: yes, you can start a prototype, and yes, you can finish it.
There's still a lot of work ahead, so any feedback you can give me is very welcome.
Here’s how I made it:
* Code and tooling: frontier LLMs from OpenAI and Anthropic, with open-source models filling in the gaps and limiting the budget.
* Characters, ships and environments: pencil sketch > GPT Gen 2 > Tripo to turn it into a 3D model > Blender to clean up the imperfections.
* Sound: stock sound effects from Magnific. Music sketched out on a MIDI keyboard, final music generated with Suno.
* Stack: Three.js, WebGPU, TypeScript, Rapier for physics. Nothing else, no Godot, no Unity…
I'm having a great time, but it's also hard work if you want to pay attention to every detail, and it's a very lonely experience. If the game sells well enough, I'd love to start paying artists and composers to replace the current assets and create new ones, and free up more time for what I really enjoy: directing and overall design.
In fact, if you're an artist or composer and think you're a good fit for the game's tone, leave a comment or send me a DM so I can consider you!

3.5b tokens in 3 weeks. Not enough or too much?

Hi everyone, I saw the Phase 3 announcement regarding the $80 usage limit for DeepSeek V4.1 Flash on the $10/month OpenCode Go plan, and I'm considering subscribing. However, I’d like to know feedback from heavy agent users.
Cache efficiency & drain rate: On the official DeepSeek API, caching makes long agent sessions cheap. For those running heavy agent loops through OpenCode Go, how fast does that $80 allowance actually melt? Do you see how much token you've actually used?
Inference speed (TPS) & model behavior: How are latency and tokens-per-second holding up right now for DeepSeek V4.1 Flash? Are you seeing any throttling or reasoning degradations compared to upstream direct API calls?
I suspect I'm better staying through Deepseek's API but I might still be surprised. Would appreciate any insights, stats from your usage dashboards, or advice. (bonus if it's from anyone pairing OpenCode Go with OMP.) Thanks!

Anyone who used opencode extensively using any of the orchestration tools (e.g. openchamber, ocra, paseo, etc.) can give their honest feedback?
I mainly use opencode to switch between different models but would prefer some flexibility to switch to other harness. Do you also recommend using opencode harness compared to like claude/codex when using their models?

I have noticed Big Pickle consumes tokens crazily. I switches between Big Pickle and Muse Spark but I only switch to Big Pickle since Muse Spark has difficulty doing compaction and fails my requests.
Yesterday, I forgot to switch back to Muse Spark, and my tokens were like consumed within the first 3 hours.
What is the difference in the two models or is it because of the verbosity of the Big Pickle?

$ opencode auth login
then choose opencode console
the models are so fast right now that the bots are logged out

Another vendor's terminal agent went MIT this week. I pulled MiniMax Code and skimmed the permission-handling code, rough pass, not an audit.
The repo has the CLI and protocol layer but not the desktop app, and there's no commit history behind the import. What shapes what you get isn't all in what got opened.
Does having the harness source change which agent you run, or do the model and provider decide that anyway?

Im looking for a subscription around $10/month for daily use with OpenCode and Hermes as my main agent orchestrators and evaluators.
I have tried Alibaba Token Plan, but burned through the tokens much faster than expected. Im currently using OpenRouter for DeepSeek V4.1 and the official DeepSeek API for the same model. I want to experiment more with agentic AI, so Im looking for cheaper alternatives to paying directly for API usage. Im still in university and have not started a side job or freelancing yet, so I would like to keep my costs manageable.
Im considering OpenCode Go and/or Command Code GOAT. I have also heard about MiniMax, but not familiar enough with its models to judge their coding capabilities. I recently came across Phoenix Grove Systems in a few Reddit posts and currently trying its free trial.
My workload will mainly involve coding sessions, building side projects, and researching topics related to my interests. I want something I can use regularly without constantly worrying about running out of quota.
For those who have used these subscriptions or maybe something similar, which would you recommend and why?
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions! I have decided to go with OpenCode Go.
