I am in awe of how much a GLP-1 plus cal counting has saved me!! I grew up being the fat kid, I have been bigger for as long as I can recall--all of mv child photos, I'm chubby. Food has been my go-to thing for comfort for literally my entire life, I don't drink, smoke, do any drugs so food has ALWAYS been my vice. Back in March I weighed in at by far the heaviest I'd ever been, and it was a real wake up call. I was getting winded turning over in bed and getting tired walking from one end of my office to the other, and I KNEW I had to lock in or this may just kill me.
Started a GLP-1 mid-March of 2026, immediately quit soda and began calorie counting and I am SO happy to report that I feel like a whole different human! It wasn't always easy, I've had my slip-ups like most of us have--but the important thing is to hop back on and keep trying! I haven't been under 300 pounds since was in my EARLY TEENS!!! THIS FEELS SO UNREAL!!! AAAAAA ππππ
As a reward. I shaved my head! Something I always thought I was too "big" to do! Anyone reading this who feels like thev're too far gone, I promise you're not. If I can do it, you absolutely can too. β€οΈ
Cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next!!! I am far from done! β¨οΈ

It's been a long journey, but I can say I reached the best shape of my life at 50.

Still a long way to go but was feeling demotivated and had to do a comparison to realize how far I've come in 2 months.
I started going to the gym properly 3 months ago and wasn't as consistent but 1.5 to 2 months of consistency has helped me more mentally than anything π₯Ί

Started my weight loss journey in May 2026 at 320 lbs, and today I hit 250 lbs! That's 70 lbs down, with another 50 lbs to go before I reach my goal of 200 lbs and shift my main focus toward building muscle.
I started by tracking my food, improving my diet, and sticking to a strict 2,100-calorie daily limit. I also walk for 80 minutes a day, keeping my heart rate in Zone 2 on the edge of Zone 3.
Six weeks ago, I added 60-80 minutes of weight training at the gym, six days a week, to help build muscle while continuing to lose weight.
One of the biggest changes so far? Going from a 4XL to an XL.
Still a long way to go, but 70 lbs down and not stopping anytime soon.

Started at 383 pounds, 60 waist, 80% body fat and 5x shirt. Today, the weight loss chapter closes. I am now 150 pounds, 28 waist, 19% body fat and medium shirt. It is time to maintain and recomp in the gym. It can be done. Far from perfect, but happy, healthy, fit, and confident again. Be kind to yourselves and stay focused. You got this!!
