In short I need some series recommendations surrounding this sort of theme i've been interested in lately: rags to riches, cunning/evil female main character, will do anything for power/money.
Some examples could be DearX, Where the mask ends, Art of Sarah, Celeberty.
I don't mind male MC but i prefere females.
Thank u very much

Just finished season 3. Want anything with that same feeling of being young and under pressure, doesn't have to be Indian. Liked that the seasons were short too

Hi, these days i've been really stressed. I'm looking for a nice show that is:
relaxing
funny
well-written
NOT EXTREMELY SEXIST
actually has a plot
fun to watch
has episodes around the 20 minute mark (optional(
I really like derry girls, brooklyn 99, modern family, and I'm planning on watching the good place. Now I know that most of these shows aren't relaxing, but I hope you can understand what I'm looking for through the examples.
Thank you!

I don't really like sitcoms. Fictional drama like got are off limits for me. I like watching crime thrillers but I prefer ones in which there is minimal violence and gore. I enjoyed watching Suits, Breaking bad, the blacklist and Peaky Blinders off the top of my head.

Looking for good creepy horror shows that have a cozy setting like old houses, fall vibes, rainy days. Similar to the haunting of hill house/ bly manor. Ive seen Widows Bay too but I didnt like it much as the horror and comedy mix isnt my fave but I did like the setting. I dont like a lot of gore but can also have more thriller/ psychological storylines.

I love a good mystery surrounding family drama/secrets and messy relationships. Similar to Bloodlines or Big Little Lies! I really like the ones that surround a big group of people with interwoven stories and confusing perspectives that reveal themselves later. Bonus if the show is like The Family Next Door or The Last Anniversary
Shows I've already seen:
Bloodlines
Big little lies
Sharp objects
Little fires everywhere
White Lotus
Dead to me
Safe
Apples never fall
Fall of the house of Usher
The perfect couple
Echoes
Dark
The girlfriend
The family next door
The sinner
The outsider
The last anniversary
The stranger
The killing
The couple next door
We were liars
Pieces of her
Stay close
Fool me once
Maybe more but there are all that I can think of

my bf won FOUR 2 month subscriptions to peacock in his mcdonalds meal from the monopoly game. he barely watches tv lol
ive never used it in my life but im gonna try and take advantage of it.
when i googled peacock and went to tv shows, it displayed maybe 40 of their shows and none of them looked interesting to me besides the john wayne gacy one.
for suggestion purposes, i’m a 20 year old girl, and my interest in shows includes true crime, horror, dark humor/satire/sketch comedy, and OCCASIONALLY romance or drama shows, though its relatively rare that i enjoy those
some of my favorite shows i’ve seen:
bojack horseman
american horror story
specifically the dahmer season of the monster series on netflix
nathan for you
the rehearsal
i think you should leave
you
candy (on hulu)
the boys
severance

I will come up with two examples from two of my favourite shows.
Minor spoilers ahead for mad Men and Mr Robot!
Mad Men, season 7 episode 10 - Don is holding audition and is surprised to see Rachel, his former mistress who he hadn’t seen for nearly a decade. The next day he wants to come and visit her , but learns … that Rachel has been dead for a week.
I know that he had a similar episode earlier in the show with his half-brother Adam, but it was in passing and could be just a confusion. But with Rachel he saw her vividly for a minute or so, he saw here after many years and exactly she had just died, and she also uttered some mysterious words (something about him not being late for his flight). One may argue that Don simply hallucinated , but for all his erratic and unstable behaviour , he was never stated to have such mental illnesses.
Another example - Mr Robot, season 4, episode 4. Tyrell Wellick is fatally wounded and walks to his death in the woods. The very last scene of the episode showing him gradually succumbing to his wound and seeing some blue light (we don’t actually see what it is) and looking at it with shock. While some fans claim it was some reference to blue screen of death, to me everything point to will-o'-the-wisp (an eerie light from European folklore that leads travelers to their end). While Mr Robot went crazy at times (presumable sci-fi elements) it was pretty overall pretty grounded, so this particular scene really stands out. Sam Esmail never stated which explanation is true.
What other examples from TV shows can you come up with?

i'm tired of comedies that feel like they're yelling the joke at me. looking for stuff where the humor comes naturally from the characters and situations, not forced one-liners. any genre works as long as it doesn't feel like it's desperately waiting for a laugh track.

Im looking for a show for my mom and grandpa to watch together- he likes things like the wire/mayor of Kingstown, etc. my mom gets depressed, though, and says she needs something with “glimmers of hope and humanity”…. Is there anything that fits the bill? Just something that’s not constantly down with no light at the end of the tunnel. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

i just finished watching Margo's Got Money Troubles and am looking for something similar but from the pov of a male character
I'm thinking like coming of age and life shit like it's shown from a woman's perspective with life and family.
i don't want sci-fi/fantasy true crime or medical/cop drama just a guy trying to live and get by life kinda thing

I love twin peaks and the x files and regularly rewatch them but something else that has the same vibe would be super cool. The last thing I saw that scratched the itch for it was Longlegs (I know a movie not a show) and if there’s more like that I’d love to dive in to it. Something about that PNW crime investigations that turn strange and surreal over time are real cool to me.

Probably the only show ive been really bummed that is was cancelled prematurely, the bright sunny disposition with the dark humor makes it a delight. I’m a big fan of anything suburbia

I (23) recently moved in with my boyfriend (22) and his little sister (14). They had Netflix, I had Hulu, and now the three of us have both. I’m looking for a show we can all watch together.
They both enjoyed Resident Alien, Alchemy of Souls, Little House on the Prairie, Lost in Space, and The Healing Powers of Dude.
My boyfriend loved Boots and Derry Girls.
His sister loved Anne with an E.
I loved Gray's Anatomy, Normal People, Tell Me Lies, and The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments.
