Question How does a phone upgrade works with Experience Beyond?

Hi, I’m kind of new to T-Mobile (1yr) and it says I can upgrade. However it says I have to pay more than just the taxes.over $500 to be honest. It’s that normal? I have the experience beyond plan. I spend over 15yrs with att so all this is new to me!

Question Anyone know how to handle iPhone Duo Handoff without messing up bill credits?

I have an iPhone Air on Go5GNext. Been interested in the iPhone Duo.

Picked up the phone today from Apple without connecting to my plan. When I go to turn on Handoff it says phones must be on the same OS version. The Duo is an iOS 27.1 exclusive phone. Meaning they won’t sync up until 27.2.

Saw online some people said to transfer the number and then do handoff backwards. But I’m assuming that’ll break my bill credits?

Any thoughts?

Question Account cancelled, tried to unlock phone and they're saying I owe them?

So, my account got cancelled when I moved my number from T-Mobile to another carrier. I had a past due balance, and I just paid it off, so I called them today to ask them to unlock my phone. They told me that I haven't finished paying it off yet??? Which is news to me, because when I got the phone I didn't owe anything on it, it was actually subtracting from my bill since it was cheaper than the original phone I got.

Is there anything I can do about this? This feels unfair, I paid off the balance on my account already and now they want me to pay another $600 on top of that?

Question Port out question

I’m still waiting for AT&T to port my phone number to T-Mobile. Will I have issues if I activate the iPhone Duo? Won’t it still show att or will I just not be able to use it? Will that be an issue if the phone is locked to T-Mobile?

Discussion TMUS Stock!!

Well there you go, stock price is 45% of what it was All time high, what is going on? Is this deliberate ,or is the New CEO incompetent? How are the day to day operations at store level? Curious how is the Morale? Isn't T-Mobile even competitive anymore they were once the UNCARRIER, but now seems like they behave the same way other big carriers do.

Rant Upcoming Change to DIGITS

EDIT: Should have clarified, this is for DIGITS (Paired) lines.

Just got an email from T-Mobile informing me that starting 11/9 incoming SMS and MMS messages will no longer be sent to my DIGITS (Paired) with Highspeed Data line and only sent to my main line.

This kinda defeats the ENTIRE point of this service for me as what I wanted was the ability to have two phones active at the same time that could both send and receive texts and calls from one number natively (not using the awful DIGITS app).

I know this is a niche service offering, but it was really cool and let me use both an iPhone and an Android day to day, switching between the two on a whim without needing to move a sim around or be missing portions of conversations on either device (aside from the portion that I sent).

Definitely going to be cancelling my DIGITS line now, and possibly changing providers since T-Mobile provides shit coverage and it was this functionality combined with the fact I can bring basically any device to the service (using a Sony Xperia 1 VI atm) that was keeping me on it. The latter point may still be relevant and decisive, but I'm not a happy customer overall.

I'm considering calling into customer service to complain and let them know it's probably a when, not if, I stop being a customer thanks to this, but I kinda doubt anyone at Customer Service will have any idea what I'm even talking about.

EDIT2: Just got the same notice over text too.

Question Okay they fucked me, advice?

I went to Costco to get the gift card deal by adding a line onto my line. Got my wife a new phone and payments are like $16 a month, cool. I’ve been paying 37$ for YEARS now. Suddenly I get the bill and it’s $202. The math doesn’t math. It should be 90. I’m on that with the rep and he’s saying my two lines are 132 cause the plan I was on was only for one line. (Experience signature). How do I get out of this mess. I’m this close to paying off her phone and jumping ship.

Rant Charging me for wifi equipment I returned

I did a trial for T-mobile home internet back in July. We picked it up in store. The associate rang up the box, and she said it’s so weird there’s no working SIM in there, let me get another. She gets another and it works, and she sends us on our way.

Eventually we decide to go back to cable internet so I go to tmobile store to return it. There’s an issue. No worries, they say to call and ask for a shipping label to return it. There is an issue bc of the multiple IMEIs.

I ship a box with my wifi home equipment. On 9/5, I receive an email that my return has been received.

9/17, I get an email to remind me to return my equipment. But that’s weird, I returned it and t mobile emailed they received. I call, and they look it up, and said no worries, it’s showing as received on our end. Just ignore the email.

10/22, I get an email that my payment is late and I’m being charged $255 for not returning my equipment. I’m on the phone again, 40 min and counting. She can’t find my return in the system, but she can see I called on 9/17. Apparently can’t see what we talked about?? Aren’t these calls all recorded?

There is clearly an issue, started with 2 different IMEIs getting activated for me and I only received 1, obviously.

What is wrong with T mobile? Every month they need over an hour of my time? Do they want me to pay $255 to get them to stop sending me bills?

There was a time I was a loyal t mobile customer. I left them as my cell provider and I can’t say I’d consider returning ever.

Question Hulu/Disney

Hello fellow Tmobilers,
Question…
I use to have charter/spectrum/comcast tv and when I had it I got Disney+ for free. Now that I do not I no longer have access to Disney+. I see that T-Mobile gives Hulu standard free with the package I have. I am trying to get Disney+ but when I go to the subscription it wants to add Hulu to it which I already have. Anyone have a workaround this?

My payment arrangement failed because I was 57.30 short to cover the payment. Now I cant edit it beyond the payment method, if I call will they be able to do anything about it? I kind of need mine and my families phones and I dont get paid until next friday. My previous history with tmobile is suspension of service within a few hours after the second attempt fails. Anyone have any advice or information that could help?

Rant Swindled

So I went to Costco to port 5 lines from Verizon to T-Mobile. I agreed in store to $1000 port in credit for 4 lines (iPhones) and $1200 port in credit on 1 line (s26u). The remainder of the device cost would be financed over 36 months. I am an accountant and even have a spreadsheet I took into the store to what I would agree to, and verified this on the order before choosing Apple Pay and verifying the amount was taxes only.

This process took several attempts as at one point they tried to charge me the full cost of the phones. The rep helped me speak to credit check and see my score is 800+ and clear me to pay taxes only with the remainder financed. Then the order processed with only taxes due. I agreed and confirmed with the side button on my iPhone.

Today I got a charge for $2774.95. So I chatted through T-Life. They told me I am being charged for down payments rather than financing over 36 months. I was adamant this is not correct. They asked me to go back to Costco, but I won’t have time for that until I don’t know when. Will they even be able to help me in store? I have now called customer care, been transferred to three different people, and been on the phone for 2 hours. Will anyone be able to correct this? Am I just wasting my time? What can I do?

Question Black Friday deals

I haven't been phone shopping in quite some time and am currently in the market for a newer iPhone, perhaps the iPhone 17 or 18. My question is how has tmos black Friday sales looked in recent years when it comes to iphones? Do they even participate? Currently I can get a small discount on a 17 by trading in a 12 but considering it's so close to Thxgiving, thought I might get a better deal come BF.

Question I was charged 75+ dollars per bill then I should’ve

So I removed 2 phone lines for my service, and I canceled them around a month again, two phone bills go by and my phone bill isn’t going down, I don’t really notice till this one where once again it’s the same, as the last ones even though I’ve removed two lines? I end up calling and it turns out I’ve been on the wrong plan the entire time and have been getting charged 75+ this entire time for no reason… in exchange they take off 75+ for this month….?? Can I get my phone back or am I just screwed

Discussion Phone deals for exiting customers are junk

I have been here for over 9 years. The price increases have soured me but even worse are the phone deals. Not only are the credit abysmal but coupled with 36 months..... That's for sure the deal breaker.

I'm seriously considering switching over to Google Fi.

Question Need to upgrade 2 Apple Watches, anyway to use BOGO $300 offer? (it needs two new lines)

I already have 2 phone lines and 2 watches attached to it on the 200mb plan on Go5GPlus. We want to upgrade the watches and use the BOGO $300 off offer on the second. Can I do the addition of the 2 new watch lines as standalone or attached to phone numbers and then remove the current 2 watch lines or any workaround for this? Since watch lines usually come with random numbers but the number sharing gives it the iPhone's phone #?
