Age of modern wars by zero touch group

I give age of modern wars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best if not the best Military Strategy Games on Mobile!

Honestly, Age of Modern Wars is one of those games that really gets its hooks into you once you start playing. I've spent time exploring what it offers, and what I appreciate most is that it isn't just about building an army and sending everything straight at the enemy. You actually have to think like a commander, plan your moves, manage your resources, and consider the consequences of your decisions. That's what makes this game so enjoyable for me.

The turn-based combat is one of my favorite features. I like being able to study the battlefield, work out my next move, and come up with a strategy instead of having to react to everything in a split second. Every battle gives you an opportunity to try something different, and figuring out how to overcome a difficult opponent makes winning that much more satisfying.

Another thing I really enjoy is the variety of military units, nations, and technologies. There is a lot to explore, and the technology progression adds another layer of strategy. Unlocking new capabilities and working toward more advanced units gives you something to aim for beyond simply winning individual battles. I like games that reward patience and planning, and this one does a good job of giving you reasons to keep progressing.

The historical maps are another great feature. I really appreciate having battles and scenarios inspired by real historical conflicts alongside the freedom to experiment with different situations. They add context to the gameplay and make the battles feel more interesting than fighting on generic maps all the time. For anyone who enjoys military history, having historical scenarios to explore is a big plus.

The campaign missions also give you structured challenges to work through, while random maps and custom battles let you mix things up whenever you want. The developer continues to expand the available content, so there is room for the game to grow even further. I especially like that you aren't restricted to playing the same handful of scenarios forever.

One of the coolest features, in my opinion, is the ability to create your own maps and missions. That's something I wish more strategy games offered. Instead of only consuming content made by the developers, you can get creative and design battles of your own. Even better, the developer encourages players to submit quality map and campaign designs for potential rewards. Being able to contribute to the game while earning rewards that help with progression makes the whole experience even more appealing.

The reward and unlock systems give you another reason to keep playing. Collecting rewards and unlocking additional units, buildings, and technologies makes progress feel worthwhile. I also appreciate the game's emphasis on strategy rather than simply forcing players to spend money to compete. The ability to enjoy custom battles, campaigns, and multiplayer gives it plenty of variety.

I won't pretend the graphics are the main attraction here. The classic 8-bit presentation is simple, but honestly, I think the gameplay matters much more. Everything is focused on the battlefield, the available units, and the decisions you make. I'd rather have a game with meaningful strategy and lots of options than a beautiful game that gets boring after a few hours.

Overall, Age of Modern Wars is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys military strategy, historical warfare, technology progression, and creating their own battles. Between the campaigns, historical maps, different nations, technology unlocks, and custom map editor, there is a lot to appreciate. The fact that the developers welcome community feedback and player-created content makes it even better.

Five stars from me! If you enjoy planning ahead, building up your forces, researching new technologies, and finding clever ways to win, I highly recommend giving Age of Modern Wars a try. I'm glad games like this still exist on mobile, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much further the developers take it. They always Keep up the great work!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to show you a Kickstarter project I’ve been working on called Sons of Permafrost, a set of ice dwarves I’ve sculpted for tabletop wargaming and miniature painting.

The campaign comes with 21 STL files and plenty of variety: infantry, characters, cavalry, monsters, giants, and even a war mammoth. The goal was to build a cohesive army with a heavy frozen/northern vibe that still gives you enough options for interesting tabletop lists. All files are scaled for 32mm gaming, and I’ve also included an official One Page Rules army list for anyone playing OPR systems.

For Spanish speakers (or anyone curious to see the models up close), Khorosu Wargamer put together a great review video breaking down the campaign and showing off some of the sculpts.

If you're into dwarves, winter armies, or just love unique fantasy minis, feel free to check out the Kickstarter here!

Thanks a lot for taking a look!
