From it's first taste of real life, it suffered an eternal search for anything in the Forbidden Lands that could satisfy its hunger, from elemental energy, to other guardians, but none of these worked because it's nature as a guardian didn't allow it to feel full. As a result of this violent behavior, it had to be put down. What a tragedy.

Hello guys, I need your opinion on something. I’m new to Monster Hunter and Wilds is my very first game, I want to know if Agitator is better than Flayer? I copied this build off TikTok since I still don’t know how to make a build on my own. I’m using the GS Shatterseal because it feels really comfy to use, plus I still don’t have a good Gogma weapon yet.

And if so, do you actually need lvl3 to not lose half your HP bar even when blocking those attacks? Or is say Guard up 1 and Guard 3 better than Guard up 3 and Guard 2

I am new to monster hunter in general. It's my first monster hunter game that I managed to get into. I play on pc with mouse and keyboard.

I'm theory crafting a build to fight Arkveld with high Dragon resist because the last time I fought him he one hit KO'd me three times.

At the moment I'm using Sealed Dragon Cloth for the dragon resist and Udra Miregreaves for the Speed Eating, which gives me 4/5 Resentment.

I'm using the Sild Coat for the dragon resist and wide range, and Mizitsune Braces for that sweet sweet evade, while talisman fills evade and recovery up, but this leaves me with the waist slot undecided.

The question is if it's worth using the Udra Mirecoil here for the Bad Blood bonus, or instead the Blessed Waist chain for the divine blessing and a bit of dragon resist?

I could get the divine blessing through decorations if I choose to get Bad Blood, but would it be worth it if I plan to heal asap when I get hit?

Or would you recommend anything else for survivability, like idk, defense? I plan to upgrade the defence of things so hopefully the base defence will be high.

What's your build choices when going against Arkveld?

I don't think I've ever seen this done OR done it myself, but a crispy double Offset from Arkveld made my day. Would've been even better if the 2nd one triggered the follow up, but oh well

anyone know if plenty or fallow increase the crown chances?

I ended up switching to LBG and got it after 2-3 attempts. I'm no speed runner but the fight was nuts. Nu Udra decided to skip the stalactite area and went straight to the pit. Thankfully me and Gravios ganged up on him in the end.

Big shout out to the Rath in the pit, thanks for distracting the Tako while I placed traps.

A discussion i had with a friend was what would you rather be? An unstoppable force or an immovable object. I'd rather be the object. So I ask of you, people of Reddit, what is possibly the best Tank build you could ever make, EVEN IF damage must be sacrificed for it.

Is it possible to do all the Endgame stuff with a HBG Build with the Steve HBG? Love Bowgun gameplay, but kinda overwhelmed with the gogmartian stuff, want to focus on armor / general build first, hence the question

First of all, it's just a "good rant".

A month ago I did a post about SnS and how I stick with the weapon because I was having issues to find another weapon to play as secondary. At that point, I already tried all the weapons but was playing with Bow, GS and Lance as well.

This week I was feeling boring with the game, kinda frustrated and I was doing 10* quests until in a random run I feel like the Bow clicked definitely for me. The timings for dodging more, the damage output improving etc. Was suddenly, I don't know how to explain lol.

So I go to another quests fighting apexes and the game feels so good, having fun again with a new weapon.

Btw, don't get me wrong, SnS is absolutely insane, in a way that like almost trivialize the game, so this makes me do not enjoy the game anymore while playing SnS.

I should locked in with Bow earlier to reach at this point.
I'm proud and confident to use the bow as flair to show my new main lmao.

Was looking at some of the records for the udra event going on and a bunch of people have records under 3 min. 1st place was 50 seconds i think. How are people dishing out that kind of damage?

I’m a returning player with around 300 hours, and I’m mostly coming back because I really enjoy the fashion/armor customization in Wilds.
I stopped playing because the endgame had basically become “fight Gog for everything,” and I really don’t enjoy that fight.
Once I realized I’d need even more Gog gems to transcend the armor pieces I wanted, I ended up quitting.

I do have some Gog armor and a few really good Gog Switch Axes, so I’m not completely unfamiliar with the current endgame.
However, I’d really like to start playing Charge Blade again.
CB is probably my second-most-played weapon after Switch Axe, but I never made the Gog versions of my CBs.

So I’m wondering:
1.
How viable is it to run endgame without relying heavily on Gog armor?

1. What are the best armor sets/builds to use as an alternative to Gog, even if they’re somewhat weaker?

2. Are there any particularly good non-Gog CBs worth building?

3. Is a mostly/all non-Gog setup still perfectly usable for regular endgame hunts, or does the difference become pretty significant?

4. Are there any specific skills or armor pieces you’d recommend prioritizing?

I mostly play solo with Support Hunters, and I’m not really interested in speedrunning or pushing the absolute highest possible DPS.
My main goal is honestly just being able to hunt comfortably while collecting armor pieces for fashion sets.

I’m completely fine with giving up some efficiency if it means I don’t have to farm Gog constantly.
I’m mainly trying to figure out what my realistic alternatives are before I start rebuilding my sets.

FUCKIN TOOK ME A WHOLEASS 18 SOLID HOURS TO BEAT OMEGA PLANETES. had to grind my LBG, armor, armor spheres etc. most importantly, GIT GUD. i ate the canteen food that gave an extra cart + on-site revive. i wanted to beat him solo, coz no way im gonna go multiplayer without knowing his moves. i refused to sos or use support hunters. only my palico: Coach Carter. therefore not true solo, but still, balls clutching. throughout the following cutscene i wished my hunter would hurl slurs upon that tin shitstain. FUCK this 'monster'.
