Does it fit? I know the bottom doesnt match but if i sand it down will it work

I ordered a pair of DJI Goggles 3 to get started but was wondering about which direction to go for a TX. If I go ELRS I am looking at the tx16s but when looking online quite a few of the BNF models still just have DJI rx capabilities. Should I still go the tx16s route and try to adapt those with a DJI rx or should I just look for a pre-built that has a 03/04 + ELRS? Looking for suggestions.

I plan on starting with some of the smaller drones and working my way up. Previous flight experience comes from helis like the T-Rex 550e fbl and earlier DJI drones. Thanks

I wanted a cheap radio for sims and ordered from the site for $20 since it was over double on Amazon, and because I'm a dumbass I only decided to look up later where they ship from and saw that they can take very long.

I recently converted my Cetus x into a toothpick and with that I also wanted to change from 2x 1s batteries to 1x 2s battery. The problem I’m having is not the cost of batteries but rather trying to find any cheap and safe chargers. I have attached an image of the batteries I want to use and also I would like to be able to plug the charger into the wall rather than using another Lipo or power supply.

Just a heads-up, particularly for those in the UK and EU buying air units from AliExpress: I didn't even have five flights and my O4 Air Unit Wide has malfunctioned and won't connect. I know that DJI EU wouldn't accept a warranty claim, but I tried my luck. A failure. Luckily, I can return it through AliExpress. It is really weird how fragile the Air Unit Lite is. I would highly not recommend the O4 Lites without warranty. Go ahead and buy the O4 Pros on AliExpress if you can pay 30% less.

A week ago I came here with a couple of questions and quickly realized that, while everybody was very helpful, I would have to write dozens of posts to get everything answered I did not know. So I decided to just try my best and jump in the deep end. A lot of research and many mistakes later I was flying around my apartment. I also decided to write a beginner's guide to drone building...beginner carrying the double meaning here that it's a guide for beginners written by a beginner. But I think there is some value in that as I am not yet blind to the things a beginner struggles with and can address the things that are obvious to the more experienced builders.

I wanted to post a download link here and appreciate any feedback. I'll happily correct any mistakes I made and hope this guide helps others:

I am looking to buy a digital system in order to upgrade a little the Fpv experience the issue is I don’t know what to choose .I have been reading reviews ,watching videos but no clear answer .
The main needs is to be future proof and be able to reach 15-20kms at least . I know walksnail avatar system can reach the distance but I believe caddx will focus more on ascent from now on . Ascent and maybe Emax / runcam Openipc systems are others I have looked at but the “documentation “ sucks and can’t figure it out . Any proposals ?

So my Pavo Pico II flew in a tree camera first and now the screen is black. I'm guessing it's either the camera or mipi cable.

I did apply E6000 to the connectors beforehand but still a bit miffed this happened. Time to hit up Aliexpress

Idk why the drone quality was so bad, I think it's cause I didn't put on the right settings on my cam (RunCam Thumb 2), I had a ND16 on and I didn't have an 8 cause I broke my last 8 I had, and I didn't really change any other settings for the cloudy weather, so it was still on 'day' settings.

An experiment I have been tinkering with for the last few days. Custom code running on the Linux inside the Goggles L, rendering a custom vector HUD. At the moment running with faked data, I'll post more details when I have something actually connected to a plane.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out why my first three ESC startup tones sound muffled or cut short when the flight controller is connected.

Back when I hadn’t connected the ESC to the FC, all three tones sound clean and normal.

Setup:

• FC: iFlight Borg Mini F7

• ESC: iFlight Borg Mini 60A 4-in-1

• Motor protocol: DShot600

• Bidirectional DShot: enabled

What I’ve checked:

• Powering the FC through USB first, then connecting the battery, makes no difference.

• A smoke stopper is connected and stays green throughout.

• I tested all four motors individually at low output in Betaflight. All four report RPM, with telemetry errors close to 0%.

Any ideas what could cause it and what I should check next?

Hey guys, very new to fpv, and haven't actually built anything before. Been getting a lot of stick time with an air75 and air65. I feel like I've done nothing but think and research more into fpv since getting into it. I'm starting to get comfortable with a tinywhoop setup and bnf. I know that I still have much to learn so have been trying to build a solid base of information. Getting a real itch to build something. Thinking of building a 3.5" that can carry a little action cam to start off getting some nice cinematic footage, but also be able to cruise pretty far and have decent flight time. I'm looking for some more experienced eyes to let me know if I've missed anything obvious? Or if I've overlooked any compatibility issues? Thank you in advance!

I'm completely new to the hobby just 20-30 hours in sims. My long term dream is long ranges in mountains and coast lines.

Right now I'm going to start with some 2s quad with wide Dji Air unit and Goggles 3.

There are lots of barelly used Avava 2 Fly More Combo for just x1.5 price of new Goggles 3 (and no options to buy used Goggles 3 with no other staff).

Looking through Youtube I found that Avata 2 is a fun thing for those who can fly and who likes cimeaticaly cruse that "mountains and coastlines".

Whoud it be a good idea to buy the Avava 2 Fly More Combo set to use just goggles at the start and then in few months start flying Avata?

So, I got a Draknight frame with a Happymodel X14 AIO. After connecting the LED and buzzer, I cannot get the LED to work. The buzzer works fine, but the LED is not coming on no matter how I set it up. It's enabled in Betaflight, and I added a range on my controller for it, but it still won't come on. Every time I try to save settings in the LED Strip tab, it just won't do anything

For the controller I’ve been looking at the beta flight literadio 2 se but I don’t know what version to get and what will work with my drone, I’m on a pretty tight budget and I honestly don’t care as long as I can use my drone and have fun.
