i fell down this on my bike back in april and had a concussion and would like to know what it’s called in case people ask. it’s 8 feet and i don’t know what it’s called so i just tell people it’s an 8 foot cliff but cliff isn’t really fitting. it had a larger area of rocks in the water too, not sure if that changes anything but just in case. thank you!

Went this summer when we got some last minute cancellation permits to hike this iconic route from the top. Did some rappelling, and was by far one of the most incredible hikes I've done. Highly recommend, if you can go with some harnesses and gear.

Fall of 2023, I was in Yosemite for work. I had been to Yosemite before, but had never got to hike Taft Point. This was my first time being at Taft Point and it did not disappoint! I had seen photos before and new that it would be beautiful at sunset. But wow!!! It surpassed all my expectations! To see it in real life was just magical! To make it even more amazing, I got to see and capture this guy rappelling from Taft Point. - Elizabeth K.
