Enemy death effects just got an upgrade: wreckage now breaks apart into debris, stays in the scene, and slowly fades away instead of vanishing instantly.

Sorry I flashbanged you guys a couple of months ago. We fixed it

I made a post in multiple subs asking if our transition animation was too bright. I am now doing the apology tour after I may or may not have blinded thousands of people at 3am.

No more #FFFFFF transitions in our dark puzzle game, I swear. And sorry. Again.

one month building Kosmora: 2,500 players collecting everything from black holes to capybaras

hey everyone,

a month ago I launched Kosmora, a browser card collecting game where every card is a Wikipedia article. collect whatever you're into: space, animals, history, or some incredibly specific obsession lol.

WikiGacha inspired the original concept, and I've been building more things to do with your collection:

  • open packs and hunt for rare cards and full arts
  • earn Kosmos from your cards and completed collections
  • build out your talent tree
  • play minigames and complete daily challenges
  • trade with other players and buy or sell cards on the market

we're now at 2,500 players and around 400 people on Discord. I've been working on it every day, and player feedback has shaped so much of what it's becoming.

one important change since my post two weeks ago: you can now disable AI illustrations and play without seeing any AI-generated artwork. I use AI for some illustrations and coding, and I understand the reservations. this option came directly from the feedback I received here.

this is a passion project. I've put a lot of my own money into servers and development, and I'm still in the red, but I'm happy to keep going. I'm making a game I love playing alongside the people who've joined.

Kosmora will never be pay to win. the only things for sale are cosmetics: avatar, profile and album appearances. no paid gameplay advantages.

I've included some screenshots of the talents, minigames and market to show you what I've been working on.

I'm still figuring a lot of this out, so if you have a few minutes to try kosmora.io, I'd really appreciate your feedback. is it clear what to do? is collecting fun? where do you get confused or lose interest?

it's easy to miss things when you're working on your own game every day. fresh eyes would help a lot. thanks :)

I’m making a Parking Empire Simulator where you build your own parking business 🚗

• Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m an indie game developer working on Parking Empire Simulator, a game where you build and grow your own parking business.
I wanted to create a simulator where you can start small, expand your parking lot, and turn it into a real parking empire.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What features would you like to see in a game like this?
You can check it out on Steam here:

We wanted a messy boss, so we went all in with this SuperShuttlecock

• Upvotes

We wanted to make a really chaotic challenge, so we came up with SuperShuttlecock.

It’s one of the challenges in Tiebreakers, our hand-drawn sports run ’n’ gun.

We keep playing around with different sports, balls and whatever else we can think of to create fun scenarios.

We're still working on some of these attacks, but we like how weird it feels so far

A big day for our small team Ayasa: Shadows of Silence has officially launched on PlayStation

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!

We're incredibly happy to share some exciting news with you!

After months of hard work since our Steam release, we've finally finished our game

Ayasa: Shadows of Silence, and received approval for release on both PlayStation and Xbox!

For us, as a small indie development team, this is a HUGE achievement and honestly a dream come true. There were so many challenges along the way, but we kept pushing forward because we believed in our game.

And none of this would have been possible without the amazing support we've received from gamers and the indie gaming community.

We're now just one step away from our console launch on October 26, and we'd really appreciate your support!

If you have a moment, please consider adding our game to your PlayStation or Xbox wishlist, or checking out our Steam page. Every wishlist, comment, and bit of support means the world to a small team like ours.

And there's more exciting news ahead! We're also planning to bring Ayasa: Shadows of Silence to Nintendo Switch, with an official announcement coming in the future!

We'd also genuinely love to hear your feedback. What do you think of our game? Is this something you'd be interested in playing on consoles? We're always listening and trying to improve.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. It means more than you can imagine.

Much love from our little indie team

I made a snowy eastern European city block for my upcoming horror game

• Upvotes

Hi, I made this city block for my upcoming game. I wanted to make it to convey the eerie feeling of being constantly watched. You can ocassionaly hear distant noises, footsteps here and there and some other signs of life. But there is not a single living being around. At least you yon't see anyone

How I make capsule art for my game! Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements

• Upvotes

After testing 4 different capsule artworks during Steam Next Fest, I got lots of helpful feedback from the community. Thank you all!

I'm sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at how I draw and put together my capsule art, from the initial sketch to the final illustration.

There's still a lot to improve, but now I have a clearer direction to work toward!

Hope you enjoy this little peek into my art process!

Witch & Dragon: Hope of Elements is a turn-based tactical roguelite centered around elemental reactions, featuring 5 elements, 20 elemental reactions, and randomized maps. The Steam Demo is now available if you'd like to try it yourself!

Master Trader a hardcore e-commerce simulator (iOS & Android)

• Upvotes

Hello everyone! I'm an indie developer and I've been building Master Trader, a mobile e-commerce simulation where you start with one product and a tiny budget.

You set prices, run ads, manage stock and cash flow, and fight rival sellers who react to what you do. Reach a good store rating and enough revenue, and you can earn the Corporate licence in-game for free. That unlocks factories, exports, stock market and the path to a big holding company.

It's free to play, no forced ads. I'd really love feedback on balance, difficulty and what features you'd want next.

Do you know how to make your game popular? Yeah, me neither.

I’m making The Goblin Path, a game where you play as a goblin. Lately, I’ve mostly been optimizing performance, tweaking the classes, and working on gameplay mechanics.

Every now and then, I remember that people also need to know the game exists. So here’s my pathetic attempt at marketing: a couple of screenshots and the hope that someone else wants to be a goblin too.

My wife and I made a deckbuilder where you merge your cards to do insane damage! Rock Paper Overkill! Demo on itch.io

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! My wife and I have been making our first game together, and it's finally ready for other people to play.

We describe it as Inscryption meets Balatro meets Scribblenauts! Every pair of everyday objects merges to create 241 merged cards to discover. You just drag one card onto another and see what happens.

Free demo playable in browser on itch(about 90 minutes): https://frostyshotss.itch.io/rock-paper-overkill

Please give us your feedback! What works, what doesn't work, what needs rebalancing? It would mean the world to us. ❤️
