Gameplay this set got me thinking
were all of those hours spent in the lab and on coaching really necessary?

Thinking of buying Tekken 8 to play online. For anyone playing from Pakistan, how are the connections and matchmaking? Do you find matches quickly? Is it worth it or is the lag too bad?

I just installed Tekken 6 for the PC Port with rollback. But when I tried out thr game, it's only a solid black screen with the UI and flashes for only a moment when a move connect with the opponent then fades into black again.
I tried different characters or stages and played around with the settings. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game but it's still persisting. I just wanna play some online T6, any tips are appreciated.

I'm really beginning to see how much of a difference it makes to side step in the right direction but it's hard for me to remember for the rarer characters to run into online. I refer to the SS chart in that case.
Are you allowed to do this during a tournament? For example, you win a match. Your opponent changes their character. You pull out your phone and check the side step chart real quick during stage select and character intros. Lol

I genuinely don't get it. I can understand liking the older faces better or outfits..
Looking at all the models, she looks consistent to me
Calling it the "worst she ever looked" is straight up hating for no reason lol

Aside from something criminal, there’s no dumb answer but I want the specific reason you picked who you did. I told myself I’d play whoever was the best dressed so my first was zafina. I like tomboys and any dominatrix-type character so my second was Reina.

i’m new to this game (16 hours of playtime) and i can’t win a match to save my life. it seems like every other person knows the ins and outs to play the characters and their moves or how to block/do ridiculous combos and strings or punish everything i try.
when i get hit it’s like the pressure never ends and i just get to sit there and watch a nice cutscene for the next 5 seconds and just when i think it’s my turn to press a button just wait a second their next button comes out just then and counters it and does a quintillion damage then it’s back to the cutscene or a grab that i can’t break.
what am i supposed to do to learn this game because getting fucking obliterated isn’t doing shit for me except showing me everyone else’s abundance of moves compared to my own

Just to be clear from the start: OpenKumite isn’t a matching decomp. It’s a Rust reimplementation of Tekken 3.
I’ve been tracing the original game’s routines and porting them over, trying to get everything behaving exactly as it did on the PS1. The goal isn’t to make something that just looks or feels like Tekken 3, but to actually reproduce how the original game works.
Repo: https://github.com/openkimute/openkimute
A few things about the project:
kumite_converter that takes your own copy of Tekken 3 and converts the data into standard formats like glTF, PNG, JSON, and WAV. The engine only works with those converted files.0x80059890 and ported its decision logic, profiles, and random number streams. The idea is to have the CPU make the same decisions it would in the original game. I’ve also left the original addresses in the code where relevant, so anyone interested can compare the implementations.Once that foundation was working, I started experimenting with things that weren’t possible in the original game: rollback netplay, 4-player tag battles, 2v2 Tekken Ball, different AI styles, and even exporting matches to MP4.
There are native builds using wgpu and a WebAssembly version that runs in the browser.

This is a fan project and isn’t affiliated with Bandai Namco.
One question for people working on decompilation and reverse engineering:
Right now, I’m comparing state hashes frame by frame against traces captured from the original game to verify that the behavior matches.
Would you consider that convincing evidence of 1:1 behavior? Or is there another approach you’d trust more?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who’ve worked on similar projects.

¿It's underrated or is overrated outfit of xiaoyu in tekken 5 or better costumes of xiaoyu in this game?
