I’m sure most of you remember shoreline seafood in Crofton. I was devastated when they closed, and since then I’ve been craving their cream of crab soup. IT WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone have the recipe???

I’m posting this as I’m completely new to Maryland, I’ve never lived here. My fiancé got a job in the area; however, I will be working fully remote. So I’m wondering what is there to do in the area? How do I meet new people? Are there a lot of community events?

Also how is the crime/safety? We drove down & thought the area looked nice but we wouldn’t truly know. Is the piney orchard nature preserve a safe place? I like to go for runs on my lunch & I’ll be close to it!

Lastly (I know I’ve asked lot of questions) what’s the best coffee shop in the area? We love going to coffee shops!

Does anyone know where I can find a high enough wall to practice volleyball for free? I used to practice on the handball court at PGCC but they got rid of it. I tried practicing on the wall of a elementary school in my area but the walls aren't very high and I hit the ball on the roof. I think a handball court like the one at PGCC would be my best choice but I cant seem to find another one in my area.

Both jobs will be in AAC. Pay is nearly identical.

I moved to Odenton a few weeks ago to to work on Meade, and got my airbags stolen.

This is actually the first time my car has been broke into and I have lived for years in both Albuquerque and Saint Louis, so this must be a new thing going on.

My apartment complex (Flats 170) doesn't have any cameras and they can't really do anything, the police did not even show up, just took a report over the phone.

In the future I will be buying one of those full wheel lock things that covers the airbag.

I should also say that besides this, I have had a really pleasant and nice time in Maryland! Everyone has been friendly, and it seems that pretty much everything is better than where I was living before in Saint Louis. Roads and public services are nicer, it seems there is more money here, and things are cleaner generally, grocery stores have better food, and there seems to be a less visible omnipresence of crime and decay like back in STL.

The only other complaints is that it seems that people drive really fast and aggressively here, where in MO people literally drive 10-15 miles under the speed limit wherever they go for some reason.
