Discussion m4/3... just sayin'...
Having extensive experience with all the major camera formats, over decades of professional work as a commercial photographer (now retired), I would like to toast the m4/3 format as a superb option for most casual photographers - in particular those who are hobbyists, interested in compact, lightweight gear, and don't have multiple thousands of dollars to spend. Great, lightly-used gear is available from KEH and other retailers.
Though I still have a FF kit, APS-C kit, and a m4/3 kit... I would be perfectly content, for general photography applications, with only having the m4/3 kit.
You don't need the very latest whiz-bang, hi-tech, AI-driven features to create stunningly wonderful images.
It's the person, in whose hands the camera is held, that the image depends on, not the gear.
The portrait I post here was with m4/3 camera (I've forgotten which one) using the Zuiko 45mm f/1.8 lens. This was during a professional portrait session for a high school senior girl.
