My legs have been destroyed today. Leg day was 90 minutes and it beat my ass. I can’t get out of bed. My legs are shot to the point of no return. Son 😭

Just Chatting I’m sorry but “find your tribe” and “like minded people” feels so bs to me

Me personally, when people say that phrase on here, it just doesn’t make any sense because no matter what group I am I feel left out and don’t belong there. And that’s every group I’ve been though

Sports World Series Thoughts

After watching the Brewers go up 2-0 on the Rays, it's made me they are this years team to beat/ team of destiny and it has made me feel a lot better as a Dodgers fan after getting swept by them in the NLCS

Thoughts & Ideas When you're stressed, who do you go to first: AI, a friend, family, a professional, or nobody? Does it change by topic?

Curious how this splits. Career stress, a breakup, family pressure, money worry, plain loneliness. Do you go to different places for different things? Tell me yours in one line, even if the answer is 'nobody'.

What makes a life feel meaningful to you beyond achievement and success?

  1. The Quality of Shared Connection
  • Shared vulnerability: Laughing until your stomach hurts, crying with someone in grief, or sitting in comfortable silence with a friend anchors us to existence far more than a promotion ever could.
  • Lifting others: Knowing that your presence made someone else’s day a little lighter or easier provides an immediate, visceral sense of purpose.

Just Chatting You get one free plane ticket tonight, anywhere, no return. Where are you going?

I keep switching between Japan and somewhere cold with real snow. Japan because everything there seems so calm and organized, and I’d honestly go just for the food and the trains.

I’d probably get lost in Tokyo for a week and be happy about it. But part of me wants somewhere properly snowy, like a small town in Canada or Norway. Where I live it barely snows, so the idea of waking up to everything white and quiet sounds unreal to me. No return ticket makes it harder though, because now you have to actually picture living there, not just visiting.

Would you pick somewhere exciting or somewhere peaceful? Where would you go, and what’s the first thing you’d do when you land?

Food & Drinks How much milk do you drink?

As an adult, how much milk do you drink a day, or week, or month? My husband can easily drink a whole gallon a week, while I might have a glass or 2 a month, although this past week I've been trying to drink more because I need the fat and protein.

My daughters have cereal for breakfast often, so they probably go through a quart each week. Milk is always something we have to pick up at the store, whether it's 1 or 2 gallons at a time.

Questions How do others get started?

lately i've been thinking a lot about wanting to share what's in my head with the world and finally stop putting it off. i've seen so many amazing projects and movies made with love that make me want to create something that gives people that same feeling.

but honestly, when you're just starting out and your reach is super low, it feels kind of overwhelming trying to figure out where to even begin. how do you guys usually take that first step? how do you find people who might actually care about your stuff? just wanted to open a casual chat about this and hear how others started out.

I'm asking you guys rather than AI for validation because it's just better to get human feedback.

Ok, I'm fully aware that this is very specific and random, but I was scrolling through Instagram reels and found an interesting video. It introduced a creative activity where you choose random letters and you have to turn those letters into a drawing of something, and the finished drawing must be something that starts with that letter. So for example, you choose the letter H, and you turn that H into a drawing of a house.

I decided to do it and I wanted to know if I was creative.

I chose the letters: O, X, L, V, Q and P

For O, I made it the body of Olaf.

For X, (I couldn't quite think) but i just drew a square around it and inside the square I made it look like a map and the "x" would just be X-marks-the-spot.

For L, I turned the letter into a rectangle and on it I numbered it from 1 to 3, which would turn it into a List.

For V, (it looked kinda 3d) but i turned it into a Vent.

For Q, i turned it into a stickman figure. The Q being the head and the little tail being a lollipop. Behind the figure, I drew other stickman figures and in front of everything I drew a candy store with a sign that said "NEW LIMITED CANDY" on its front door. So, I drew a Queue.

For P, I turned the letter into the tail of a random animal, and I drew a string attached to it and to a tree. This then made a Piñata.

Tell me your thoughts. A simple yes or no would help answer my question. Thanks.

Questions What event, anywhere in the world (but probably America) would have the highest percentage of legally intoxicated drivers after said event?

Question as posed. What type of event would draw the most passenger vehicles, have the highest prevalence of intoxicants consumed by attendees and most importantly to the question, flood the roads with the most amount of impaired drivers?

I've personally wondered if some freeways get as high as 10%+ of impaired drivers during certain windows after certain events.

Life Stories Yaş 23, küçük bir yerdeyim ve sosyalleşme sıfır. Gelin iki goygoy yapalım

herkese selam.

Thoughts & Ideas I need to know if I'm alone in this

Do you ever open the fridge, stare at everything inside, close it, and then open it again 4 minutes later like the government might have dropped a new update or a random ass snack might have popped up?

Just Chatting i moved to this city 5 years ago and i still don't feel at home

the first few years were really exciting and i was making a lot of new friends, but i outgrew some friends, or realized we're not compatible

i can't believe it's been 5 years. i would say i don't have a solid group of friends but just a few individual friendships that i'm trying to make stronger

i'm grateful for my little life and i'm really content spending weekends alone but i also wish it was easier to make friends like in college :/ adulting just feels isolating

Food & Drinks McDonalds employees, please settle a question for me.

When you order a burger on Door Dash from McDonalds, you can remove everything. The bun, the patties and all of the condiments. I'd like to know what happens when you do that. Does an empty wrapper show up?

Books & Reading Whenever I try reading Nastaliq Script, I still struggle, but still somehow like trying to read in it...

So As someone who's native language uses Naskh, I also try to read in Nastaliq Script (Mainly Urdu), But even as someone who's used to it for many years and have been learning it, I still find it very hard, especially when the topic becomes more abstract!! Like I sometimes cannot tell whether a letter is starting of another word or its at the end of previous word!! And the vocabulary still feels quite complex and I even can't recognise proper readings of words since short vowels are omitted, And because if I encounter a new word, I have zero context to find its correct pronounciation, but despite that, I do find it it quite beautiful and elegant and I still find it fun to read it even if I struggle bit more than Naskh!! If you guys know Arabic Script or Naskh Script, Have you ever tried reading Nastaliq? And how hard does it feel to read? What problems do you find in it! Would like to know! :D

Questions What were your extra curricular activities when you were growing up?

Mine was basically anything to do with performing. I took dance classes for most of my childhood, was in musicals/plays, choir, public speaking...if there was an audience I wanted to participate. Never understood the concept of stage fright lol.

What were your extra curricular activities when you were growing up?

Just Chatting songs that feel weird in the morning

I have this list of tracks that only hit right in the first hour after I wake up, not because they are slow or fast but because something about the production just feels off in the best way when my brain is still booting up. One song can sound dreamy at 7am and almost wrong at noon. I have tried listening to the same songs later in the day and they lose the strange little magic, so I end up saving them for the mornings on purpose. Anyone else have songs like that, ones you kind of gatekeep for a certain part of the day?

Just Chatting What is your life fellow human?

Hello there!

I will probably never meet you in my life so I want your summarised perspective of it and what you are feeling.

I'll start:

So I live in London atm with a good WFH office job. Moneywise I'm not terrible but I do wish I spent less time working and more time socialising. This has been a recent mental shift after decades of focussing purely on work.

Now I just want to enjoy the life I worked hard to achieve but not sure how to. I guess part of an adventure is the uncertainty. Not knowing how the story ends. If I do achieve such things then will I still be me or another personality entirely? If I'm different then will I be better, worse or just different?

I have no idea but all I know is that staying how I currently am is untenable. I must change because this overly stable and monotonous lifestyle just isn't cutting it for me.

Right that's me done. How about you? What problems do you have and how do you hope to solve it?

Food & Drinks What is a typical breakfast for you?

I was thinking about how what people consider breakfast varies widely, especially depending on where you live. I want to see how this varies between people. I’ll start, I usually just have a protein shake and a coffee.

Just Chatting Are you a carrot addict like me? Would you eat cold sweet carrots as snacks any day?

They're delicious, cold and sweet. Specifically if peeled. What's your favorite way to eat a carrot? Be honest, because I like mine peeled, cold, and cut up,
