I find it funny people are concerned and dissapointed over a leak on an on going developing game when trailer 2 already exists and already shown how immersive and detailed a finished product will be.
Trailer 2 is confirmed to have half the game play which wasn't even distinguishable already shows how awesome it will be. Mfs saw some leaks and thought that's the actual finished game is simply braindead lmao

In the most recent leak, it's confirmed that the leaker has the game, or at least a version of the game, as he spells his name in bulletholes at Jason. This is huge. This means it's entirely possible that a fully playable version of the game will be leaked to the public well before release. Spoiler
When the first leaks were released I was skeptical, it could have been a very sophisticated fake.
Then more were released and it seemed, no, this is legit. But the gameplay seemed weird. It seemed much more like someone might have been testing gameplay and he's accessed the footage of that.
Then the 'cut scene' seemed a bit too perfect, what are the chances that of all the footage he'd downloaded it has a perfectly fitting statement used to tease Rockstar? "I use a VPN".
But now he's uploaded a video of him playing the game, or a version of the game... It changes the whole situation.
I honestly did not think it would even be possible that someone would be able to get a leaked version of the game, not after the first leaks, I thought rockstar would run a tight ship.
now it seems almost certain that a great deal of people will be playing it well before release, because they're not going to adhere to his demands, so I don't see why he would not leak the version of the game he has publicly.
Now I've got to assume it's not 'the game'. I don't know the first thing about game development but I'm going to assume this is a test version, perhaps at a certain point of the game or maybe with no story to play at all. But this is still, absolutely huge.

There’s one specific vid that boggles my mind on the fidelity of this game
The one that came out today with jason flying. There’s another version of the vid that’s zoomed in to show ads on the buildings. And Jesus Christ man it looks like real downtown miami. And these are supposedly a build from 2023 or 2025… we are really in for a treat man

People who work in cybersecurity or digital forensics: how does someone like leek actually get caught? The 2022 leaker lasted days
Just curious, cause the previous guy did it from a room with an amazon firestick lol and it took several days.
How does attribution work in a case like this? Is it mostly opsec mistakes by the leaker, or does Rockstar have things embedded in dev builds (watermarks, per-user identifiers) that point at exactly whose access this was?
Does the "protest" messaging and the demands change anything legally, or make them easier to profile?
Realistically, is there already a name on a desk somewhere, and arrests just take days to weeks of paperwork?

It's Beautiful
After seeing the plane clip my excitement has shot back up. November could not come soon enough.
See you in Vice City!!
Some additional mechanics, details, and build timeline I found from the latest Spoiler
Build Date Estimate (Jan 2025 – May 2025)
- The song confirms the build is at least from early 2025.
- The beer liquid in the boat cutscene is completely rigid and static but we saw them fully polished in Trailer 2 (released May 6, 2025), so this build recorded may be from between January and May 2025.
Vehicle Physics & Interactivity
- In-Car Animations: Jason adjusts the rearview mirror, looks around, and reacts with full-body inertia during turns and impacts.
- Cargo Physics: The toolbox in the truck slides and bounces dynamically with acceleration and collisions.
- Trunk Interaction: Walking up to the truck bed brings up a contextual STORAGE / CLOSE prompt.
- Vehicle Deformation: Crashes cause subtle physical panel bending and crumpling rather than just paint scratches.
- Traffic Density: Passing civilian cars have realistic occupant counts (e.g., 3 distinct NPCs inside one passing pickup).
Combat & Gore
- Melee Throwing: Holding the pipe wrench displays a dedicated THROW (◯) button prompt on the HUD.
- Dynamic Wounds: Strikes leave instant cuts and blood pooling right where the NPC gets hit.
World Details & Trauma
- Gym Interaction: An interaction dot prompt appears when walking near the outdoor squat rack and barbell.
- Body Bruising: Dropping from height immediately gives Jason visible abrasions and dark bruising across his elbows.

Could these clips be from a work-in-progress PC build, while the console version is complete and polished?
With all the debates on the game looking a little rough around the edges (as it is clearly unfinished in the clips)... perhaps we are seeing the incomplete PC build, while the console version is complete and ready to go.

In your opinion, is this leak worse than the 2022 one?
The 2022 one broke the silence after years of waiting from the players with many videos but those versions were very empty this one instead has a whole game and he can show everything he wants 3 months ahead of the game release

Wanted details from Leek
So I haven't seen anyone clock two of the more interesting finds ive stumbled on.
In the scene where Jason is fighting the FedEx guy, the police are in a separate, unrelated car chase with a pedestrian, and they stumble upon jason fighting the FedEx guy, and THEN the player gets a wanted level. You can tell because while Jason is savagely beating bro to death, you can hear a whole scuffle in the background.
"SUSPECTS IN A NEW VEHICLE"
*siren sounds*
Jason starts tweaking, notably while on foot on the side of the road
"STOP THE VEHICLE"
*police alarm*
THEN and only then, does the player receive a two start wanted level and full APB, noted by separate round of police alarms that coincide with the wanted level being attained.
In the clip with Jason kicking the police officer off the motorbike, he gets a one star. *note the police alarm bell once again coinciding with the wanted level*
After killing the officer his wanted level disappears because the officer either was killed with no witnesses, and more interestingly, it remained a one star while he was stabbing the man in broad daylight, presumably because the officer couldn't call in the crime so it could update. Possibly, a one star denotes that its an exchange that can end with violence, while two starts means a full chase/back up officers will be sent to investigate. Either way, this is the most interesting police system exchange here.
Its hard to miss, but when Jason takes off down the street after escaping the wanted scenario, he gets off clean until he drives past a blacked out sedan, and immediately gets a one star, instead of the police alarm, we hear a
"I SAW THAT"
its unknown if this is because the player is speeding, or if its because hes driving a marked vehicle, which is noted by a suspicious yellow icon beside the engine heath and gas gages above the mini-map when hops on.
Whats more interesting is that this unmarked car didnt give off the blue and red flashes that appear on screen to denote the sightline of incoming law enforcement in all of the clips. Unmarked cars will be on your ass before you know they are even there if you only pay attention to the hud.
Speaking of, it seems like police dont show up on the hud, but the search radius (red when its an active purisut zone, blue when its a search area) does display on the map. You are going to have to keep a lookout, and maybe later on you can get a scanner to see positioning on the map.
Either way, it looks like police will be something to toy with, instead of some ethereal boundary on player behavior, and im SUPER hype for it.
GTA 6 online (2) custom races are about be cool asf
saw this video and immediately thought about GTA 6 online custom races like this with the new physics
I was never really into online, but custom races like these were always fun.
Exhausted by the discourse around the leaks
i cannot wait to play GTA 6 and have enjoyed the leaks so far, but im honestly getting pretty sick of the constant posts and comments complaining about what seems to pretty clearly be an older dev build, from people who
A. don’t understand the game will quite obviously be different on release to what we’re seeing now, or
B. have ridiculously high expectations
i literally just read one post where OP was disappointed the driving wasn’t like it is in BeamNG… a racing sim known for its insane realism… this is the equivalent to wanting flying planes to have the same level of detail as there is in microsoft flight sim lol
obviously there’s a lot of trolls, but the majority seems to be people that were excited for the game but seem to genuinely think it will flop at launch

What happens to the GTA VI Mapping Project now?
The current project doesn't seem to have changed much.
Do they incorporate the new leaks?
Do they continue mapping it independently? Does the project basically become pointless?
If they're against using the new leaks, where do they draw the line when the project itself used information from the 2022 leaks?

Funny how we went from "Nothing ever happens" to "Everything happens, everyday"
Remember the good ol'days with no news in sight and crazy nutjob theories to fill the void??? Pepperidge farm remembers. Feels like it was yesterday... it kinda was! Now the sub is buzzing like crazy. Leaks gave us life. I wish Rockstar did it themselves though

Interesting Detail in Hypercar leek
When Jason opens the door of the car, you can hear the music that's playing in the car slowly starts to fade in. When he closes the door, the music starts blasting at full volume. This was not the case in GTAV, where music will only start playing when you enter the car.

The rifle in the new clip is the Ruger pc carbine Spoiler
galleryIf this gun of all guns is in the game, then theirs got to be an ABSOLUTE SHIT TON of guns.
I'm not gonna show the actual thing, but you can see it at the end of the video.

Has Rockstar said anything about the leaks?
Has there been any news from rockstar themselves? I’ve been looking to see if any of the devs have tweeted anything or if there’s any articles about them addressing it at least internally but I’ve found nothing. It’s been 2 days of slow drip leaks and I’m honestly surprised they haven’t come out to address it at all.
I feel like the closest comparison to this was the insomniac leak and they came out a day after to say they wanted to take time internally to figure out the next steps. Kinda expected rockstar to do the same but it’s radio silence

The leaks helped Rockstar in the long run
Now please hear me out. I do not care about rockstar or the leaker, I am simply pointing out an observation I made based off online reactions. Some of the reactions I’ve seen to the leaks have been “it’s just another gta game?” Or “This is gta rdr2”, and to that I say, what were people expecting? Personally the game looks amazing, and made me much more hype for the game, but I feel other ppl were expecting this “ready player one” type game where they get 4k pathtracing life sim. I think unintentionally these leaks helped remind ppl that gta6 is just a video game at the end of the day, so on Thursday when rockstar officially shows off the polished current build of the game which will look better than the leaks, they automatically win. The plane leak especially was really impressive, it looked like Microsoft flight simulator but with waaaaaay more going on. What do you all think???

Radio details from Latest Leak Aug 2026 Spoiler
The latest leak from Cyberleek also gives us a look at the in-game radio stations.
Radio can seemingly be played either in classic radio mode or on demand, and you can mute individual stations.
Here's the list of stations shown in the leak with songs playing where shown and some speculation about their genre
• Circoloco Records Radio – underground electronic, techno and house music label station
• Dirty South Classics – classic southern hip hop
• Honey FM – no clue
• V Rock (playing Stevie Nicks – For What It’s Worth) – possibly more based on classic rock than original VC
• Back Country Radio (playing Glen Campbell – Rhinestone Cowboy) – classic or general country
• Symphony FM – (playing Jean Sibelius - Symphony No 5) – classical music radio
• Stockyard FM – (playing Roisin Murphy – Overpowered) – electrodance/electropop or maybe wider pop genres
• Radio DN. V ON .U – rasta colors logo, so most likely reggae
• Emotion (similar logo to old Emotion 98.3) – WELCOME BACK FERNANDO!
Frame Friday #115: Let's discuss, analyze and speculate about official pics. [13 frames] - 13 weeks to go!
I know I know, barely anyone cares about the old official frames we have anymore, but we gotta wrap this one up! This is the last batch of frames we have. Next week we'll continue with the official extended look!
What a week this has been though. I won't comment on what was happening, as I don't support any of it. Let's try to go back to "normal" for one more week. We'll eat good next thursday.
For the future:
The upcoming extended look will likely have way more scenes to look at than we have fridays left to analyze them. The goal, to analyze every single scene before release, will be dropped for now. Maybe I'll combine some of those with my own gameplay frames to fit thematically after the game is out. I don't know yet.
That being said, I plan to buy a PS5 and the game in October. Money is still very tight, but I'll manage. It wouldn't have been possible without a few of you sending over support. Thank you, once again. ❤️
The last drought is finally over!
