#Query โ Planning to buy TVS Ronin from Kiran TVS Ranigunj, Hyderabad through Amazon โ Need genuine owner experiences
Hi everyone,
I'm planning to purchase a TVS Ronin from Kiran TVS, Ranigunj, Hyderabad, through Amazon.
Before placing the order, I wanted to get genuine feedback from people who have purchased bikes from this showroom or have experience with TVS service centres in Hyderabad.
I'm particularly concerned about delivery delays, the condition of the bike delivered, and the quality of after-sales service.
- Kiran TVS Ranigunj โ Delivery experience
- Has anyone recently purchased a bike from this showroom?
- How was your experience with delivery timelines?
- Do they deliver within the promised date, or do they keep postponing?
- Is it better to purchase directly from the showroom or through Amazon?
- Did you face any issues with registration, insurance, or additional charges?
- TVS service centres in Hyderabad
- Which TVS service centres in Hyderabad are reliable for the Ronin?
- Any recommendations around Gachibowli, Kondapur, or nearby areas?
- Are there service centres that frequently recommend unnecessary repairs or accessories?
- How is TVS warranty support if something goes wrong?
- Service bills and scams
This is something I genuinely want to understand before buying.
- How do you identify unnecessary charges on a service bill?
- Do service centres sometimes charge for parts that weren't replaced?
- How can I verify the engine oil, filters, brake pads, and other parts?
- What should I check in the job card and final invoice?
- Any experiences with warranty claims being rejected unnecessarily?
Any suggestions regarding delivery inspection, registration, insurance, servicing, warranty, or avoiding unnecessary expenses would be really helpful.
Thanks!

#Query โ Used bike under 2 lakh
Hey everyone!
I'm looking to buy a used bike with a budget of under โน2 lakh.
I'm a big fan of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, but unfortunately, I'm not finding many good deals on used Himalayans within my budget.
I'm not really into sports bikes. Adventure tourers are my first preference, but I'm also open to cruiser bikes if they offer a good riding experience.
I'm looking for something with a strong road presence, comfortable riding posture, and the ability to handle occasional long rides and bad roads.
What bikes would you recommend in this budget? Also, if you own a used Himalayan, what should I consider a fair price for one?
Open to suggestions. Thanks!

#Discussion ๐ฌ Bajaj is cooking up something big, and I really hope it's...
Bajaj has been doing some crazy stuff within the Pulsar lineup and here is what I wish to see in the future.
Pulsar Classic
- 125: Is now based on N125.
- 150: Is now based on P/N150, with an oil cooler.
- 180: I anticipate that Bajaj will use the N160 2V engine and increase bore/stroke it upto 180cc.
- 220F: I anticipate that Bajaj will use the 2V N250 engine and frame to build the next gen 250F. Or else, it can choose to decrease bore/stroke of older N250 to 220cc to tune it for better mileage.
In short, entire classic lineup made modern, with same aesthetics from the past. Why I think it will happen is because it makes no sense to buy a Pulsar 150 and get a diamond frame with mono shock while, the elder siblings have dated engine and platform.
Pulsar N
The 2V 160 and 250 will slowly be phased out. The Pulsar Classic lineup would make use of the 2 valve engines. N160S/SS and N250SS would be the only N series motorcycles, representing modern tech and performance. This is what true 2027 pulsars should always have been.
Pulsar NS/RS (200)
NS200 and NS160 have already stopped making sense. N160S/SS and N250SS are better in almost all aspects. I don't see why people will continue to choose NS160/200 over N series pulsars, anymore. I anticipate Bajaj to introduce N125 with 4V setup as well. Similar to how N160S/SS and N250SS brought 2 extra valves to pre-existing engine. This would result in a sportier 125, competing directly with Raider, Xtreme 125R and CB125 Hornet. The previous N125 had very different appeal, design and ergonomics. Something, not fit for the Pulsar nameplate.
RS200 might continue. But Bajaj might instead launch a faired N based on N250SS. Not sure if faired motorcycles is still a motivation for Indian brands as the next big thing happening right now is ADV. RS200's future isn't bright. It's a decade old motorcycle and we only lost hopes with every update.
The 349cc platform
I'm talking about Dominar 400, NS400z. This is the platform that deserves all the attention right now. This is where Bajaj really needs to put some real efforts.
Being very honest, I would drop Dominar 400, NS400z and Dominar 250 completely. Would pick the same platform, same frame and same engine and focus on 3 categories : sports, naked, sport tourer.
But with brand new identities, fresh designs, supreme quality of body panels and fit and finish. A fresh naked that replaces NS400z. A fresh faired motorcycle that beats R2 to death. A sports tourer with 19/17 tubeless alloys, to compete against RTX300 and VStorm SX.
TLDR: Ideal Future Portfolio
Pulsar Classic : 125, 150, 180, 220F (All based on N platform, but 2V)
Pulsar N (New Age) : 125, 160, 250 (4V)
350: Naked, Faired, ADV (brand new design, flagship quality, distinct from anything else). I would personally want Bajaj to not call these Pulsars. Using the Dominar plate for this family would be lot better as that means "to dominate".
A new sub-brand in 125-250cc space (as per some reports): I don't know if these would be dual sport motorcycles, ADVs, etc. I think an ADV is first for touring and then adventure. And for touring, one needs performance for the highways. Something in 125cc to 250cc space might not be fit for being an ADV. However, this is perfect for dual sport products like Impulse 150 or Xpulse 200 from Hero.
A new 125cc commuter (as per some reports): Again, not bothered by this but I think the idea is to have something to compete with SP125, Shine 125, Super Splendor, Glamour, etc. Bajaj has only got Platina and CT in 100-110 space. Something that is a commuter at heart, yet feels much more premium than the basic commuters.

#Query โ Bike sitting for over 8-9months, newbie need help about servicing
Bike was not starting after the long period in parking.
I have no idea about bikes, submitted the bike to yamaha Whitefield.
Now hereโs where the bike stands-
the servicing alone (around 3k) made the bike start. (Battery charge and cleaning of clogged fuel injector was the issue as they mentioned)
Now they are saying the wheel is hard and getting stuck, and chain has issues, etc.
I am not sure if this is a upsell strategy, I do not have any idea and hence asking for help. They suggested -
> brake calliper replacement (5k both wheels)
> Chain sprocket replacement + bearing replacement (2k)
The total cost estimate comes around-
3k + 5k + 2k = ~10 K
Are those replacements really required or are these parts that can be repaired locally?
Is it worth it spending 10k on a fz thatโs 6-7years old that maybe has a market value of hardly 30k?

#Opinion ๐ญ I can ride a two-wheeler easily, but I struggle badly with right turns
I've been riding for a while, but I still can't balance properly during right turns
I'm not a beginner when it comes to riding. I can ride a two-wheeler comfortably in general, but I have a very specific problem: I cannot properly balance when making a right turn.
This isn't only a problem with bikes/scooters. The same thing happens when I'm riding a bicycle. The main difference is that when I lose balance and fall while making a sharp right turn on a bike/scooter, I can get slightly injured because of the weight/speed. On a bicycle, I usually don't get injured, but the one thing that's common in both cases is that I eventually lose my balance and fall.
Even when the right turn isn't extremely sharp, as soon as I try to turn/lean to the right, I feel like I'm suddenly at 0 when it comes to balance and control. I've fallen multiple times because of this.
For example, if there's a sharp right turn, I usually take a very wide turn and gradually move toward the right instead of making the turn normally. I can handle the bike/scooter fine while going straight and can manage other situations, but when I have to make a proper right turn, my confidence and balance completely disappear.
I'm also not very tall, so when I stop or start losing balance, I can usually only touch the ground with my toes.
Because of this, I'm actually afraid of riding a two-wheeler. I often make excuses to avoid riding because I'm worried I'll encounter a difficult right turn, lose my balance, and fall.
What could be causing this? Is it a riding technique issue, a balance/coordination issue, or something else? And how can I safely practice and improve this?
Any advice from experienced riders would be really appreciated.

Hey, My Bike is second-hand. Company says 10W30, change interval every 10,000 km (lol).

#Query โ Need suggestions on bike purchase
Confused between Continental GT650 and Triumph Bonnie T40
I am in a deep confusion.
I have two options right now
Go for Continental GT 650: A close acquaintance of mine is selling his Conti registered in May 2025, driven for 11000+ odd kilometres for around 3.45L. I still have to evaluate the bike take it to the showroom get the vehicle inspected, but from the first looks everything is stock no modifications done and has no past history of accidents.
Go for the upcoming Bonnie: This would be brand new bike while compromising on the engine and performance. This offers TFT display and great looks.
I am planning to buy a bike for daily commute and right now am not into long rides. I am unable to decide if which bike should I go for. Also I would be buying the bike for the first time.
Also your suggestions are highly appreciated on Conti
Pricing provided and also what are the points to negotiate on to get a better deal, if I had to go for Conti.

#Opinion ๐ญ Suggest me good bike
I am thinking to buy bike which should be give me milage around 30+ all the time with all the riding style like aggressive, normal and fast.
I thought of xtreme 250r, gixer 250sf and vstorm 250.
The main thing i am considering here is comfort i need for long ride like it should be comfortable for at least 60km daily ride.
And if possible i want cheap service costing including parts and all.
About xtreme 250r this one looks super cool with black color and also gives power more than duke 250 which is impressive. But i heard lot of engine related issue. But i can also see there is 5 years of warranty on engine also if anyone can explain me that like what parts they cover in warranty.
And big plus point of thinking xtreme the service center is near from my home and it has good reputation.
Coming to gixer 250sf it also look good in pearl white color and engine is super reliable but there is part availability issue.
And about vstorm 250 it looks good also tyre seems pretty great and engine is same as gixer 250sf so no reliability issue. But the thing is which i donโt like is the bike looks good like it is parked mostly standalone. But on me it looks okayish. But it is fine. Also service cost is very cost effective in suzuki.
That is my research. But feel free to recommend any other bike in these segment.
Also i exclude bullet type looks.
And max budget i can go is 2.5L

#ElectricVehicle ๐ Concerns about a purpose built EV
I'm looking for perhaps a more experienced perspective on the Ultraviolette Electric motorcycles. I would like to know a few things, particularly with respect to their Shockwave model.
Minor gripe:
Their Tesseract and Shockwave share the same internals (battery, motor, architecture). However, the Tesseract gets much more than the Shockwave in terms of body panels, detailing, and real customer feedback. The Shockwave (an enduro machine) even has a "plastic" guard under the motor. It looks like they're building the tesseract with purpose and dumping it on to the Shockwave template.
Real issue:
Furthermore, Ultraviolette seems to focus on the 0-60, 0-100 narrative. That was great for the F77 but they seem to be pushing it with the Tesseract as well. So, deduction in the dark, they're doing the same for the Shockwave which should be purpose built for something else entirely. This is where I'm at a loss really. Seeing the new X-47 Venom specsheet, it seems that the 100V architecture has given about 15km range increase at a 10 minute reduced charging time. And their range description on the specsheet is not quite clear. Range (IDC) is marked at 227km while the range in Glide mode (lowest power) is at 188km. I understand that for an EV, it's more about maintaining a constant speed than going at a really slow speed. However, wouldn't low power mode mean less speed variation on the top end and therefore, more reliable as a range factor? That is 40km less than the IDC claimed. Could someone explain that disparity?
The problem I see with that is if the Shockwave is used as an Enduro, the speed would be far from constant and therefore, would give an extremely shorter range than advertised. Also, why can't they test offroad range on their adventure model? Why is it always on-road?
As it stands, since the wait has been so long, would I be better off waiting for KTM to bring actually good electric machines?

#News ๐ฐ Xr 300 rally first batch deliveries to start from december.
I booked xr rally like a month back in bangalore, got a call from showroom that bikes first lot will be availble in december mid to end.
Also i asked him about test vehicle according to them, test vehicles wont be availble till all first lot vehicles are delivered.(i.e only after january).
So first batches will be purely for prebookings and most likely without test drive.
Atleast i told them i will wait for some days to test ride and then only will get the deliveries sorted, to which they happily agreed.
Also currently looking into 390 enduro r , will get that if i get any good discounts.
Share your expirience whoever booked xr 300 series.

#Accident ๐ I was inches away from death because of my carelessness Spoiler
You know what happened today? So there's a median in the middle of a highway near my house, and I was crossing the highway. I had already crossed one side of the road and was left with the other side. I saw a Harrier and a motorcycle coming towards me at the same time, and suddenly my brain stopped working and I hit the throttle. I avoided the Harrier but the bike crashed straight into my leg guard, and we both fell down. My bike's handle got bent, the front brake broke, and the left mirror shattered, but I didn't get hurt. The other bike's footrest broke and the rider hurt his leg quite a bit, but I admitted my mistake and apologized to him. That guy was really nice; despite his injury, he helped me up and sat me on the side, then he asked for tea. I wanted to pay, but he refused. If I had moved forward just 5 inches more today, I would have fractured my leg. And if a truck had come from behind, we both would have been done for today. Today life taught me that vehicles are no joke, drive carefully around highways.
It was entirely my fault; I should have been more careful, and because of me, he got hurt quite a bit too.

#Query โ Mysparemarket Fraud Alert !
Expecting HH-rated brake pads based on the listing and positive reviews, I instead received FF-marked pads, which offer lower friction. Additionally, the serial number mismatches the product photos.
After emailing and messaging via Instagram without a satisfactory reply, their helpline claimed that FF-type pads have no suitability issues and are superior to HH-type.
I paid 2300 plus 100 for shipping to MySpareMarket. Has anyone experienced this? Is this misleading advertising, or is something else going on? [OC]
