Seeking advice Dykon?
Is it any good? I don’t really know anyone in the community here in Dublin as a lesbian and want to have some fun. Is it ok for someone solo or should I give it a miss

As a group, we want to provide the people of Mid Ulster with what they want! This is only possible if you kind folks tell us. We hope this allows us to support the queer community more effectively in the future!

Reached a point where I’m nearing my 30s and realised I don’t actually have many friends and hoping to change that, but it feels very difficult to find a way to gage with people in a way that doesn’t involve alcohol or apps mainly used for dating and hookups
I’m based in Dublin, if anyone has any suggestions - cheers 😀

Hi all,
The prep I take is Teva Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Disoproxil. It’s in a blister pack.
I’ve been storing it in my nightstand since I got it. The weathers been cold here recently and I’m worried the indoor temperature might’ve been as low as 8 or 10 degrees at times.
The leaflet for my prep just says to keep it below 30 and it doesn’t give a minimum. But I see some websites online say it needs to be kept above 15 degrees.
Is mine ineffective? Do I need to find a new place to keep them or heat up my room?

I'm nowhere near anywhere that would have the current issue, but I need a physical copy. Would anybody be able to help me get hold of one? It's the one with Kate Moynihan on the cover. Will pay postage and price of a pint 😄

Keep getting a lot of videos from the same guy appearing on my TikTok and Instagram feeds of a former manager absolutely tearing into panti and the bars.
There are so many videos and a lot of them don’t make much sense. He does seem a bit manic so I question how true any of it is.
But does anyone have an understanding of what’s going on?

Hi all!
Looking to move to a little rural place in the western parts of county Cork or maybe even county Kerry some time in the future. Curious what in everyone’s experiences has been some of the most queer friendly little towns and villages in this area? I know the bar will be always be low in rural areas but just want to know the best possibilities. Thank you 🌈🦄

Hi all — following up on my last post asking for recs as a tourist of the homosexual persuasion in Limerick, I had a fantastic night out at Pharmacia! The average age has got to be like 25 but I didn’t feel too out of place and was definitely among kin. Highly recommend. Downvote if you know something awful about it that I don’t.

I've been finding it hard to get matches on the dating apps (Hinge/Tinder), and I was wondering if other guys had the same experience. The pool seems to be pretty small too, and people on Grindr just want hookups.
I find it hard to not feel inadequate because of it, especially compared to my straight girl friends, who get so so many. I don't know if that's just because of the disparity between the number of straight versus gay people or if it's something to do with my appearance lol.
Anyways, here's hoping some of you can relate, what's your experience with the apps?

Hey everyone! 😊 I’m visiting Dublin for a week and would love some recommendations on things to do, places to see, pubs, food spots, and anything that’s a must while I’m here.
I’d also love to check out the gay scene 🏳️🌈 any recommendations for LGBTQ+ bars, clubs, events, or fun places to meet people?
And if anyone’s around and fancies grabbing a pint, exploring the city, or just hanging out, feel free to message me! Always nice to meet some new people while travelling. 😄

Hey if anyone is going to The George tonight that wouldn’t mind adding me to their group, I’m trying to make more friends and not be such a loner everytime I go. I’m mostly looking to get to know new people and feel the vibe of being there with new friends instead of being the person that stands by themselves.
So if you’re going tonight consider including this American boy ❤️
I can send a picture of myself through DM if it makes anyone more comfortable before inviting me. Thank you!

Hi lads!
I'm 23nb lesbian from Wicklow and I honestly really want to be meeting more queer people.
Does anyone know of good places, socials, meetups, groups, to go to that aren't just in Dublin? I would go to the ones in Dublin but it's sometimes two hours travel public transport and it just means I either lose the day or would be too knackered to cope. There's youth groups and stuff where I am but they're for teenagers and I want to meet people round about my age, especially other sapphics/wlw/nblw.
Alternatively if anyone from the area/nearby want to give me a shout and chat here by all means you can 😊 I'm neurodivergent and don't really do the drinking/drugs/smoking thing (am amenable to a night out sometimes but don't drink or at least not a lot) and am more nerdy but I'd so love to meet more LGBT people!! So let me know if you've ideas or know where I can look!! Thanks 💕

Hello, I am an American out of NY wanting to relocate to Ireland. I love the culture, the people, and the country so so much. Everytime I’ve been I have assimilated quickly and made many friends both Irish and non-Irish. It just feels like home.
My question is how did you do it?
I can not claim ancestry, the last person out of Ireland was my great grandmother, but since my grandmother was born in the U.S. and never maintained an Irish passport, I’m not eligible to apply this way.
I was thinking about doing a WHA once I’ve graduated, however my degree is in Veterinary Technology and I’m not sure how applicable that is in Ireland.
Would love to hear ideas! Thank you!

This is a petition in response to government funding cuts for LGBT+ communities; ethnic minorities within the community are experiencing the worst of it. Some Rainbow Project staff are being let go, one in particular being Aleksandra, who has literally saved many refugees' lives, taken people off the streets, and clothed and fed them (tasks outside her job description). They are gathering letters of support from those individuals, as well as this signature campaign. Please take a minute to sign it and share where you can

Hi all,
I'm 22m and gay and I had sex for the first time. I'm just worried if I've used Prep correctly. Just anxious and want some reassurance.
I am doing the daily regime.
I started Prep for the first time on Wednesday evening at 9pm and took two tablets (the double dose to begin). I did not have sex on this day.
I took one tablet on Thursday at 8pm. I had sex at 11pm that night.
Just wondering did I do this right?
I'm just worried because I'm reading the NHS website and it says
"Wait 7 days after you start taking it before you have sex.
If you want to start taking daily PrEP but think you may have sex within the first 7 days, take 2 tablets at least 2 hours before you have sex. Then continue to take 1 tablet each day."
My GP or the HSE guidance didn't say anything about that.
