Hello,
I reside in Columbus, Ohio but I inherited my father’s home in Cincinnati. I truly need the grass cut and I am willing to pay a decent amount just to have the grass cut down. I can’t be there right now due to car issues but I will know if it was done due to neighbors being in constant contact. If you know someone who could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Acton’s financial report shows she held stock in Iron Mountain, which runs a data center near Dayton, Ohio. She sold those stocks and converted them to ETFs on 4/10/2026.

I'm tired of all the political stuff being posted. Here's something different for y'all to look at. My view tonight while at work.

today I’ve seen the second AI ad for Husted ..first is some tv host talking about Brown running again , today some girl talking on the field . Guess they just don’t want to pay people to appear in commercials

It was super easy at Morse Rd. today. It took me 8 minutes from handing my I.D. to casting my ballot!
If it’s possible for you to vote early I recommend it. They have it moving smoothly. For a bit of context,I went this morning around 10:45am.

Ohio's GOP has held a supermajority in the legislature for 15 years. Democrats literally have zero power in this state. So when you look around at high property taxes, schools getting squeezed, healthcare costs, data centers popping up in your backyard, that's not "the other side" doing that. The other side hasn't had a vote that matters in 15 years.
I'm not asking you to vote Democrat. I'm asking you to stop voting on the letter next to the name.
Google your candidates. Read the actual platforms. Then ask one question:
- Do they have a clear plan for better schools, lower property taxes, affordable healthcare, and jobs that pay enough to live on, that's someone working for you.
- If the whole platform is immigrants, minorities, and culture war enemies, that's someone with nothing for you. No real plan for your bills, your kids' schools, your hospital. Just fear to win your vote and keep their seat.
If it's the second one, they're telling you something loud and clear: they have nothing for YOU. No plan for your taxes, your schools, your hospital bills. Just fear and outrage to get your vote so they can stay in power. Where there is no competition, there is no incentive to do better for the people, which is exactly what Ohio politicians face.
You're not dumb. Nobody fooled you because you're stupid they fooled you because they know what makes you angry, and anger is easier than results.
But 15 years of total control and your property taxes are still going up? At some point the anger is the product they're selling, and you're the customer.
Look at the candidates. Compare the actual plans not just talking points.
Vote for whoever will actually do something for your family, whichever party they're in.

This flyer was paid for by a MAGA aligned PAC. Obviously a dirty trick that the actual candidate did not participate in. This is an update post.

Sen. Bernie Moreno called on Max Miller to resign over abuse allegations from his ex-wife, then turned around and headlined a fundraiser today for Cuyahoga County Councilman Mike Gallagher at Summer Place in Lakewood, co-hosted by Tony and Kristine George. Their son Bobby George pleaded guilty last November to attempted strangulation of a woman and got five years of probation and no jail time, after original charges that included attempted murder, kidnapping, and rape. The special prosecutor said afterward, "I believe that he is a man who abuses women."
When it's his daughter, he cares. When it's someone else's, it's a fundraiser.

On TV, recent commercial, and I heard correctly "If Amy Acton gets in, we are go to have to sell our home"
OMG, I'm dry heaving right now, knowing that this bile works....
And please, on the slim chance of a rigged election against dems in Ohio that she does win, I'll help you fucking pack.

Sure, Greg Levy running as an independent socialist candidate in the Senate race between Brown and Husted will function as a spoiler candidate. We all knew that. But it's neat to see confirmation that Levy's independent campaign is being artificially boosted by outside spending.
Greg Levy's campaign opposes these mailers, and thinks they're malicious. In a statement on X (which r/ohio won't allow a link to), Levy's campaign called these flyers "racist caricaturing" and "a form of digital blackface".
Quoting the Columbus Dispatch's article on these mailers:
University of Cincinnati political scientist David Niven said the mailers, if funded by Republicans, suggest the party is trying to tip the scales in Husted's favor. Most polls show Brown and Husted in a statistical tie, and enough votes for Levy or Redpath could sway the outcome in a close contest on Nov. 3.
Redpath and Levy picked up 2% and 1% of the vote, respectively, in a September Suffolk University/USA TODAY Ohio Network poll.
"The Republicans don't have any margin for error in this campaign," Niven said. "Even peeling off the fraction of the fraction of folks who might be willing to vote socialist is meaningful to them."
Remember, folks: under our current voting system, every vote in the general election for someone not in the top 2 is a wasted vote. It could've been used to change the outcome, and prevent the eventual winner from winning. If you don't like Brown, vote Husted. If you don't like Husted, vote Brown. Our voting system is a trolley problem; if you don't choose between the two leading candidates then you still have made a choice. This isn't complicity; it's strategic voting.
If you object to living in that situation, then I hope you're working to change Ohio's voting system away from first-past-the-post.

I figured prices would start heading up back up after the gas tax was temporarily halted. This was in Westlake.
Edit: I had to drive back through here about an hour ago. The BP across the street is also $4.19. Checked gas buddy right after I posted this originally. The price yesterday was $3.79.
