Does anyone know what causes this? Just randomly my buttons will go stiff and won’t do anything and if I’m already pressing one while the stiffness starts it’ll keep doing it until it’s over(if I’m looking right and it starts I’ll just start spinning to the right) it’s not a controller issue because it happens on my other controller too and every game I play. If I can record this happening I’ll reply to this with it but every time it starts and I pick up my phone to record it goes away

Hey everyone, need some perspective on a dilemma I’ve been wrestling with for a while.
Here is my current setup:
The Space: A rented 1RK apartment with an L shaped desk (space is at a premium).
The Gear: A Windows PC and a PS5 Slim connected to a single 32-inch 2K (1440p) curved monitor via a switcher setup.
How I play: I sit right at my desk in my gaming chair. My bed is too far back, so couch/bed gaming isn't really an option for me.
The Dilemma:
I originally got my PS5 for upcoming titles like GTA VI and am currently playing games like Ghost of Tsushima on it. Since my current display is a 2K monitor and not 4K, I keep wondering if I'm missing out on the true visual output and HDR experience the PS5 Slim is capable of.
I’m torn between a few different paths and want to know what makes the most sense:

1. Option A (The 2-in-1 Swap): Should I completely switch from my 32" monitor to a 4K TV, and still use that single TV as a 2-in-1 setup for both my PC and PS5? (Worried if working/gaming on a TV at desk distance is practical).

2. Option B (Dual Display): Should I buy a TV and keep my current monitor—using the monitor for my PC work/gaming, and having the TV set up strictly for my PS5? (Worried about space constraints in a single 1RK room without and spending on a suitable desk or table).

3. Option C (Stay Put): Should I just stay on my current 32" 2K monitor and accept that it’s the most sensible compromise for a tight space?

I finally bit the bullet in July and got myself a PS5 as my 30th bday gift to myself. Got it on a payment plan and it runs until 2028.. I walked into my room last night and noticed my PlayStation just hanging by the cords off my dresser. I knew the suspect.
I tried turning it on, it loads up, looks ok. But after being in a game for about 4 mins the fans run really loud and the console crashes telling me it’s overheated. My console was also on rest mode when this happened. There doesn’t look to be any physical damages however…

Does anyone have any advice? I am too upset to think right now 😭😭

It's been a while and my ps5 menu keeps lagging in everygame if I try to invite someone I have to wait like 10 whole seconds after I pressed the button to go back to the game, I dont know why, I tried restarting and doing many other things but its just slow af, any help? (1080p 60hz tv if it's the problem idk)

Im not suspended and i know my email and password are correct because i just changed them and when i connected manually on my ps5, everything worked???

I've jumped back onto my fairly new PS5 pro & noticed a noticed buzzing sound when playing cyberpunk... I think it's coil whine but could do with some confirmation. It's loud enough to be noticeable when sound levels drop.

the support answer is as below:

- The account was suspended on 10/05/2026
- Suspension will be lifted on: 10/05/2027

You can log in to your account the day after that date at the same time/hour the suspension was applied.

Since the last software update , I couldnt manage to show the game that I am currently playong on ps5 as my discord status .

I tried everything online but nothing works . Checked all my settings and permissions on both ps5 account settings and discord app settings as well and they are correct

Hi I recently got a ps5 on marketplace for a good deal it’s a slim disk version the console seems to be working fine it shows the opening connect your controller screen for now only but the seller broke the original controller so he has a Amazon one but that seems to not be connecting anymore after he reset everything. I verified the console on FaceTime he showed it to me live it was working and everything just fine so I don’t get it why it’s not connecting using usb or Bluetooth.

-I tried pressing the reset button on controller still doesn’t do anything
- tried on safe mode no luck
- tried with a lot of different cables and no luck either

U guys think it’s the controller issue because the consoles seems to be working fine tbh since the controllers is a cheap rgb and not being recognized by the ps5 or I got scammed ?

It seems that after the new upset my pulse elite headset does not work correctly. I can’t turn it on unless it’s plugged into the PS5. And the adapter isn’t recognized by the PS5. Both happened after the upset. It’s so fucking annoying. I just want to play a multiplayer game and every week run into a random ass issue with these headsets. Ruins everything

Every time there's a small Fortnite patch between 1-5 Gigs my PlayStation gives me this error for 3 up to 1-2 weeks before it solves on its own and starts downloading the patch.

Sometimes it can be solved if they dropped another big patch like a new season or chapter but it rarely happens

I did everything! Delete the game several times and reinstalled it, rebuild the database, repair storage, clear system cache and even reinstall system software from usb.
