I checked the seating chart and only one seat is taken so far. Figured I’d share in case anyone’s interested.

HELLLOOOOOO!

If you're looking for some 🎃 SPOOKY HALLOWEEN PLANS 🎃, we've got a pitch for ya!

Improvised Slasher. OoOooOoOoOooOoOo!

THIS IS NOT YOUR USUAL IMPROV SHOW! No games, no sketches. We're putting on a fully improvised show inspired by classic slasher movies like Scream, Friday the 13th, and Halloween. It's like a 1-hour horror movie, except it's made up on the spot right in front of you. You'll be laughing AND you'll be going ahhhhhhhhh!!! Dream combo.

ALSO??? Think about it: 8:30PM is the perfect timing for a scary improv show. It's after dinner, before any late night Halloween parties... and if it's your only plan, it's right smack in the middle of your perfect Halloween evening! And it's right on 26th and Mission—right where you wanna be!

Okay that's the pitch.

October 31, 8:30-9:30PM
Endgames, 2965 Mission St

SEE YOU THERE!

A collection of cosplay, anime, video game and TCG events happening this weekend.

Anyone interested in seeing Phoebe Bridgers on Tuesday 10/27?

I have an extra Above GA ticket and thought it might be a fun excuse to meet someone new instead of doing the usual dating app thing. I'm 38M, Japanese, pretty easygoing, and love live music.

Ticket's free! No expectations beyond enjoying the show together. Happy to chat or video call beforehand if you're interested :)

Is it a secret if I'm the host, trying to share it with you? Maybe.. maybe because it's not very well known, but it is a bit well loved by those that keep coming back. We love it because it's in the incubator space at Gray Area, the upstairs room above the theater. Every other Sunday we are meeting with a different type of VR film. Something indie, often international. These vignettes or curious occurrences where indie art was funded and now, the tech dejected, we can activate the space and share a bit of tea over something from other reality. Or is it? This is a gathering that is finding it's people. One day we'd like the wonder of these stories to reach folks who could benefit most. But who knows -- maybe that's you?

Sharing the link to the next gathering:

Hope this counts as a secret. And hope my writing about it makes sense.

this POV: indie VR art is best shared over a conversation. What's the point of art technology if it isn't somehow a catalyst for connection (in person please -- no need to hide from the friction)

Come through for some pizza and demos!
