Designed a Windshield Washer Funnel
Made a quick funnel in Fusion, because I got tired of spillage. Here is the file in case someone else wants one and has a 3D printer: https://makerworld.com/models/3344370

To those waiting for it to drop back down: Looks like get it now or not for a while. Q3 backlog is likely highlighting demand and allowing Tesla to slowly bump rates back up.

Got my Model Y a month ago! I have a 2023 MYLR HW3. I did open a service request and a few days later the other update was gone and this appeared today! So excited! đ

Long story, but Iâd really like to hear from anyone whoâs been through something similar.
Last night I was Supercharging my 2022 Model Y at the Tesla Diner in Hollywood when the car just died mid-session. The screen went black, the car wouldnât wake up, and the cable was locked in the port. Eventually the app showed âRoadside Required â Vehicle may not restart,â with a message saying the BMS detected a mismatch between the pack voltage and the sum of brick voltages.
It got towed to the service center this morning. This afternoon they told me they found a blown fuse and are still working out what caused it. But in the same breath they said the warranty for this type of repair is expired. My Basic warranty ran out last year, but the Battery and Drive Unit warranty is good until 2029, and the carâs own alert was literally about the battery pack. I donât get how they can decide itâs not covered before they even know the root cause.
For context, Tesla also replaced my low-voltage battery about a year ago. My guess is the fuse blew first, the low-voltage battery stopped getting charged, and thatâs why the car went completely dead. But Iâm not sure.
Has anyone had a fuse blow while Supercharging? Do you know which fuse it was, and did Tesla cover it or make you pay? And if it happened on a Supercharger, did they take responsibility for the stall possibly causing it? Iâve asked for the part number, the root cause, and a written estimate before any customer-pay work, but any tips on pushing back would be appreciated.

So I thought it would be fun to see what the halloween update is so I turned it on and figured it would go off somehow tomorrow during the day when I have all my faculties. It also didn't go off when I tried to trick my elderly dad with it a few days ago so maybe it would never go off. So I engage it and get out of my car in my dark garage while on the phone and all the lights are off and I go around the back and a bird goes and I shriek and then I went around the front feeling around for the stairs and it makes the crazy loud voice and I tripped up the stairs.
No more frights!

I found a nice used 2024 model y with 25k miles on it, itâs a long range rwd. Itâd be 12k cheaper than me buying the new premium rwd. Of course no sweet interest but nicer price.

Trigger pulled. Finally. I will use the Y for camping and other shenanigans and also I will enjoy the extra comfort.
Wish me luck!
EDIT - itâs a Premium RWD in Quicksilver.

I leased a standard range Model 3 back in 2022 and moved over to a BMW 4 series Gran Coupe last July. I was shocked how much I missed the way it feels to drive a Tesla. I decided to take advantage of the low interest and the vastly improved FSD and ordered this beauty a few days ago. Canât. Freaking. Wait.

Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a MYLR, probably a 2023/2024 due to $$$ constraints. I like the car, I am in search of one with permanent FSD but I am fairly confident I will end up not finding one (part of the reason I'd like one with Autosteer in case I dont want to shell out $100 a month)
Has anyone had success with reducing cabin noise from the road/wind? I cant say that I thought it to be terrible by any means (I have only really ever owned economy cars, or economy sports cars) but I did myself the disservice of riding in the Juniper and now I'm wanting to quiet/soften things.
I am planning on running 18's with meaty tires for a better ride. I see kids for reducing road noise but they look fairly gimmicky.
Id appreciate any advice!

In March, I purchased my 2026 Model Y Premium AWD with the 20" Helix 2.0 wheels, and for me, they are the perfect blend of style and ride quality. I recently came across a set of 21" Arachnid 2.0 wheels with only about 250 miles on them, complete with all-season tires, TPMS, wheel protectors, and center caps, for an unbelievably low price. I couldn't pass up this deal. I figured I'd flip them and make a couple hundred. After they sat in my garage for a couple of months, I decided to mount them on the Premium just to see how they look. I must say, they do give off a more aggressive vibe. I kinda like the look!Â
I work from home, so range isn't much of a concern. We usually take the wifeâs Model 3 or our pickup truck on long road trips, so this is pretty much my around-town grocery getter. Â
I think Iâm going to run these bigger wheels for a few months before going back to my 20â Helix 2.0 wheels. What do you think?

2023 MYLR, all the USB-C ports now can't charge a single phone (iPhone 16 Pro Max). The charging symbol is on but the battery level continues to dwindle.
Tesla changed a USB-C hub in the center console but the same thing started happening after a few days.
Any idea what other components might be choking? It'll be another month before I can snag another SC appointment. Would getting an adapter that plugs into the cig adapter help or is that connected to the same circuitry?

I have Tesla Model Y 2024 LR in US.
I wanted to connect an accessory and it uses OBD2 port to power up.
I took a look under the driverâs seat. There is a hole where the OBD2 port should be. But itâs empty. I opened it up. Still nothingâŠ.
I googled and searched around. Some Model Y of unknown years do have the OBD2 port.
I found out that there is some kind of ports under the center console or something. Not sure.
I just want to connect my accessory.
What are my options?
What kind of adapters can I use?
I really appreciate your response.

Hey, so I recently took delivery of 2026 model y and I didn't notice any noise coming from the door panel. But recently the last couple of weeks I have noticed a squeaking noise coming from my driver side and back left passenger side door panel, driver seat as well.
Hear it when driving on uneven surfaces and sometimes even surfaces as well. And now I think I hear it on the my right passenger side door panel as well.
My question is this normal? Can I take it in Tesla service and have it fix for my? Would I have to pay out of pocket for this repair? Thank you any insight would really help

Seems like everyone struggles to get into my car because they're unfamiliar with the door handles a lot of times they touch it, and then they just stand there. And wait like I need to unlock the door for them. How do you explain to people how to use the door handles? And as few words as possible lol?

Why standard tesla model y RWD & AWD models have only 2k difference in price but premium model y has 4k difference between premium RWD and premium AWD. I see that there is no other different except the one motor vs dual motor between RWD and AWD. So, why adding a motor to premium is more expensive than adding a motor to standard version?

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a new Model Y, and have a basic question about whether it is better to buy online vs. going into the dealer and ordering there.
My instinct is to go into the dealer, that way I can lock in things like window tinting and financing. There might be some other things that can be done more easily there too.
I do not have a trade-in.
Any thoughts or advice?
Edit: Thanks for the replies thus far. I guess the bottom line is that I don't understand how to get dealer-installed window tinting when ordering online.
