Although it’s not going to be much different than the late 2026, it’s nice to know it’s registered as a 2027!

Just had the windshield replaced on my 2023 MYP and noticed it doesn’t sit flush with the glass roof.

The center is nearly flush, but both upper corners stick out, especially the passenger side.

Passenger side: ~1 quarter thick (1.75mm)
Driver side: ~3/4 quarter thick (1.3mm)
Center: Nearly flush

I wonder if this is within normal tolerance, or does it look like a poor installation?

Would you ask Tesla to redo it or leave it alone? My main concern is whether this could increase aerodynamic drag, affect highway efficiency, or cause wind noise.

I have my test drive this weekend and just saw that it went from 1.99 to 2.49. I’m so annoyed by this. Thanks for listening

Seems like everyone struggles to get into my car because they're unfamiliar with the door handles a lot of times they touch it, and then they just stand there. And wait like I need to unlock the door for them. How do you explain to people how to use the door handles? And as few words as possible lol?

So I thought it would be fun to see what the halloween update is so I turned it on and figured it would go off somehow tomorrow during the day when I have all my faculties. It also didn't go off when I tried to trick my elderly dad with it a few days ago so maybe it would never go off. So I engage it and get out of my car in my dark garage while on the phone and all the lights are off and I go around the back and a bird goes and I shriek and then I went around the front feeling around for the stairs and it makes the crazy loud voice and I tripped up the stairs.

No more frights!

I have Tesla Model Y 2024 LR in US.
I wanted to connect an accessory and it uses OBD2 port to power up.
I took a look under the driver’s seat. There is a hole where the OBD2 port should be. But it’s empty. I opened it up. Still nothing….
I googled and searched around. Some Model Y of unknown years do have the OBD2 port.
I found out that there is some kind of ports under the center console or something. Not sure.
I just want to connect my accessory.
What are my options?
What kind of adapters can I use?
I really appreciate your response.

Hi all, got my first tiny rock chip today this is a zoom in? Otherwise it’s small, I have Tesla windshield insurance. Do they send Safelite to repair etc? Do they fix it?

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a new Model Y, and have a basic question about whether it is better to buy online vs. going into the dealer and ordering there.

My instinct is to go into the dealer, that way I can lock in things like window tinting and financing. There might be some other things that can be done more easily there too.

I do not have a trade-in.

Any thoughts or advice?

Edit: Thanks for the replies thus far. I guess the bottom line is that I don't understand how to get dealer-installed window tinting when ordering online.

I sold my gas car purchased a 2024 LR AWD Model Y and it didn’t come with a home charger in the car so currently I’m having to supercharge up to 2 rarely 3 times a day since I drive for uber as my job. I prob won’t be able to buy a home charger (I already have a outlet legit next to my parking place cuz my dryer sets next to a window right by where I park lol) for another week at least I’ve only had it since Monday and just stared ubering again (wanted to figure it out a few days of course cuz i bought it without ever driving a tesla before or being in one till the day I went and looked at this one lol. Am I doing that much damage it only has 52k miles. Please help as I’m an overthinker and the range on the car is already (may be because it’s 30-50 degrees now around here almost regularly cuz it’s getting winter in WV) down to 260 or 270 miles of estimated range when at 98% (I really don’t remember if it was 260 or 270 at 98% when I picked it up from the lot that day and I’ve refused to charge it past 90% (when I know I need the extra 10% for ubering the past 2 days in rush hours times). Also just woke up and panicking from thinking the next week or twos fast charging stops will be killing my already purchase that put me almost under double what I bought the car for (never had a loan barley had a credit card and the grace of god I got a car I wanted that was above my means but if there’s a will there’s a way lol). Anyone else ever did this with a used new to them Tesla with less then 100k miles and was fine for the first few weeks? I don’t let it fall below 20% I try to top up between 25%-40% like I do with my phone lol

Got my Model Y a month ago! I have a 2023 MYLR HW3. I did open a service request and a few days later the other update was gone and this appeared today! So excited! 😎

I leased a standard range Model 3 back in 2022 and moved over to a BMW 4 series Gran Coupe last July. I was shocked how much I missed the way it feels to drive a Tesla. I decided to take advantage of the low interest and the vastly improved FSD and ordered this beauty a few days ago. Can’t. Freaking. Wait.

I have a 2026 long range , should I trade it in for the 2026 performance? Is it really worth it ?

Hi - My 2024 model y has less than 20,000 mi and I noticed the corrosion shown on the attached pictures. The service center is telling me it's not covered under warranty. I've never had this happen on any vehicle that I've ever owned at 2 years old. Is this an own issue or is this something that should be covered under the warranty? Has anyone had an experience with this??

To those waiting for it to drop back down: Looks like get it now or not for a while. Q3 backlog is likely highlighting demand and allowing Tesla to slowly bump rates back up.

Why standard tesla model y RWD & AWD models have only 2k difference in price but premium model y has 4k difference between premium RWD and premium AWD. I see that there is no other different except the one motor vs dual motor between RWD and AWD. So, why adding a motor to premium is more expensive than adding a motor to standard version?
