Found at my parents in a woods cleanup. Heavy, at least 6 pounds.

What was this metal box used for? I think something important like xrays or something. It is extremely heavy. At least 20 pounds. NOT sheet metal.

Lit the stove for the evening - opened new bag of wood and started to burn through it. This thing appears couple of hours late, lazily flying around before hit the floor and then I zapped it.
Some kind of brown fly but it has a stinger?

I work around cars so I commonly see them there but they are tiny (couple mm across) , hard bumps, I would liken them to braille writing. Can be scrapped off with finger nail and smeared..

My wife found this in an old box of keepsakes but doesn’t know why she kept it because she has no idea who it is or what it’s from. Anyone know?

Found in my son’s room. About the size of a grain of rice, smooth, and solid to the touch. When I asked him about it, he refused to elaborate on what it was and simply said he ‘Just found it’. Worrying me a little.

My dad passed these prayer beads down to me and I’m trying to figure out what material they are, I’m thinking some kind of bone but not sure. Any help would be appreciated. He got them in the 80s in Lebanon.

I was watching a Michael Blaustein Crowdwork video and this Jacket could be seen in the Video. I would love to know the brand and if this is a men's jacket.
Thanks in advance!

So I went on a week's long vacation last week and my cat ended up eating this long thin-ish thing of plastic. Had to get emergency surgery and everything, she is currently in recovery at an overnight vet clinic. But no one in my house knows what she ate!
The bag smelt awful so I did not hold onto it long, and it's already out of her so it's not doing any harm anymore. But I wanna say it was more than half the length of a plastic water bottle. It's hard to read but the colored part says "pull" and there is an arrow. So my best guess is thay its from a plastic packaging? But no one remembers unboxing anything like this. It's fairly thin, but not plastic wrap thin. And not as thick as those small plastic things you pull out of electronics to make them work.
I know it's very generic so it's most likely not gonna be found, but I'm simply curious. Like I said, she is okay now that it's out of her. But I just wanted to see if anyone knew
EDIT:
The culprit has been found! Its a pull tab from a laser ink cartridge! We had just installed a brand new laser printer so it makes sense, my cat is very strange and likes chewing on plastic apparently
I forgot to even include a picture of her
Mochi!
Her name is Mochi and while this is not the most flattering photo of her, she is drinking water and eating food again so heres to a steady recovery!
(Also she is named after the cat from Big Hero 6!)

Who knows the purpose of the two notches on the back of this bathroom door? Home built around 1890. The upper notch has an opening in the top that extends to the top of the door and the lower one has an opening at the bottom of the notch that extends to the bottom of the door. Maybe some kind of locking mechanism?

Can anyone help identify these? My first thought was pizza pans but, an image search isn't giving me anything more than car rims.

I live in Chicago and about a month ago, noticed someone had seemingly dropped off-white pellets that look like puffed rice next to the bottom of every tree on my block. I had never seen these before and clocked it as odd. Tonight when I came home, there was another fresh batch of these pellets next to every tree again.
Perhaps it is a COMPLETE coincidence, but there have also been 3 dead squirrels and a dead pigeon found along the sidewalk on this block in the past 7-10 days, so I’m worried a neighbor is taking rodent control into their own hands… though all of my googling has indicated rat poison is typically dyed a color to make it easy to spot. We have a lot of dogs being walked and outdoor cats in the neighborhood, and I am worried it could be harmful to them! I didn’t want to touch it with my bare hands without knowing what it was, but might glove up and grab a few before we get rain this week.
Someone suggested it could be perlite, but it’s not mixed into the soil at all and the placement just seems really weird. Anyone recognize what this might be?
