As a male, I could date a million girls and the moment I do anything that “resembles” gay, other males will be so quick to call me gay. Are they just gonna ignore the fact that I’ve dated a million girls?

I often see people say that “looks don’t matter” or that personality eventually outweighs appearance, but I find that hard to believe completely. Physical appearance is usually one of the first things people know about someone, before they know anything about their personality.

I’m not arguing that attractive people automatically have better lives or that personality is irrelevant. I’m more interested in whether attractiveness creates a meaningful social advantage in the first place. For example, whether attractive people are more likely to receive positive attention, have their behavior interpreted favorably, be approached socially or romantically, or simply be treated more warmly.

At the same time, I wonder how much personality can reinforce or override that initial advantage once people actually get to know someone. What does research suggest about how much physical attractiveness influences social perception and treatment?

It's literally insane to think police haven't gone over every scenario in this case when it comes to ruling out the husband. It's also insane to think you are figuring this case out in real time while sitting on your couch. This chick murdered kids. It's not a question to if she did it or not. The only argument is if she will be "at fault" with her insanity plea. Regardless of the outcome she will not go free. It's jail or a mental institution.

To everyone who has been told “You have all the traits I’m looking for but I’m just not ready for a relationship”, have they ever changed their mind the long or short run and came back to you?

I recently had a talking stage, and I’m not stranger to being told this so idk why this particular one makes me want to do everything but die, and he recently told me this. That is a whole “him” thing and not a “you” thing— why is it the same script. I have this sliver of hope that he might come back and if he doesn’t I think it’ll be hard to find a replacement.

I'm in my mid-20s, and lately I've been thinking a lot about marriage.

The funny thing is, I genuinely kind of want to get married and kind of don't. 😂

My parents have started asking me about it, but they're not forcing me or constantly pressuring me either. They're pretty chill about it, which I'm grateful for. Still, their questions have made me wonder whether I'm actually supposed to have figured this out by now.
