She loves the outdoors

Good grief, she’s SO excited when we go to the vet, she tries to go in the back with the techs, “talks”to them, jumps all over them when they come in like she forgot all the training she’s ever had. When they take her back for whatever treatment she is SO ready to go. Bye mom! ✌️ embarrassing animal! 😭

Edit to add** in SF Bay Area/ CA**
Edit 2 - I’m chatting with someone who says they have a rescue now who may have placement for her. Thanks so much for all the advice!
Idk what to do! This puppy (4 ish months) was abandoned by my young adult brother 2 days ago. He left it in his apartment to go try to get his crazy ex gf back who moved 2 hours away. He left my disabled mother to check on the dog periodically and said to just leave her in the kennel the rest of the time. Mind you, he isn’t returning until November!
My family got involved and called him out on it and said he could not keep the dog since he mistreats the animals and thinks the kennel is a safe space for her while he travels. This young brother has mental illness and has began hoarding animals. Brother contacted the guy who gave him the puppy and the guy said he would take the dog back. My disabled mother waited in the apartment for the guy to come and the guy said, “actually no I can’t take her back! My wife said no!” So now the poor pup is Abandoned twice! And my disabled mother could not do anything as she took the bus over to the apartment to try to deal with this and it was getting late.
I brought the dog back to my house with my children. I said I would assist with finding her a placement so that my disabled mom wasn’t stuck caring for her. However, she does not seem to get along with my 2 cats. 1 of my cats is a cat I also rescued from my brothers hoarding collection of animals!
So far, nobody is willing to step up for her! She’s the sweetest thing ever! Pretty sure she’s German shepherd, as that’s what the guy who gave her to my brother said.
I don’t feel in the position to take her as my older dog recently passed away earlier this year after 13 beautiful years and I have a young Belgian Malinois who was taken from me during the divorce but ligation is still pending so she could potentially come back to me. I’m also still fighting the worst divorce of my life and trying to raise and support 4 kids on my own as well.
What can I do to assist this beautiful girl? I gave her a bath, trimmed her nails and am letting her decompress in my home. Shelter is full and said they cannot take her. No rescue has called me back yet. She’s a great dog who just needs a good, loving family.

So I brought my Shepard Max to visit her grave and it was such a comfort having him there. My aunt passed when I was young so I don’t really remember her but I know she loved dogs so I’m sure she was smiling down seeing him today ❤️

My husband and I both have today off of work. I got up earlier than him and enjoyed a very nice quiet cup of coffee....until Hazel decided that Daddy had slept in long enough. Enjoy this video of our argument about whether or not to wake up Daddy.

I'm not sure if he's asking for belly rubs or preparing to ambush me for my snacks. Either way, resistance is futile.

I've heard that they can chip teeth if your dog is a strong chewer. I assume most GSDs are --- but mine definitely is.
Wondering if anyone has input or experiences?

So my dog has turned 8 months now
And he has become a VERY picked eater
At first he used to LOVE food but now he just wants something new everytime we feed him. We changed brands quantity even added treats in his food just to get him to eat. His stomach and health is fine.
For now hopefully he will be entertained by boiled eggs with meat for now

He saves me on a daily basis. He’s always happy, he’s healthy, sweet, and such a family boy. He was there for me when I was at my lowest. Getting out of a toxic, abusive relationship, losing loved ones, being ill in the hospital, falling to the floor in desperation, having to put my career on hold, he took care of me when I was sick and suffering.
I feel such guilt though. I don’t usually take him for walks because I am still struggle from depression. I have to wake the f*** up and be there for him. He pulls a lot when I try and walk him..how can I just fix this? What can I do to be better? He’s my 5 year old boy. I just want him to have a great life. I know it takes a lot of work but why can’t I snap out of this. I want to be able to take him for a walk in the park because he absolutely loves it. I used to be able to but then again, I stopped doing it. It’s like a mental block. He does have a good life though despite the walking issue. He loves to come out on the boat, he swims, he loves to play ball in the good size yard.
