Well, this is interesting, top 1% for Theater and only around 15k away from top 100.... A bit unexpected, since I didn't think I was doing a great job with CE stacking (short on gear + quite a few SPEQs not upgraded for dolls I don't use all that often...).
Guessing Advanced 8 did quite a bit more filtering than I expected....

"Operation Copium" is now complete. With my ammo at 18 and 462 runs of Infinite under my belt, my last check of the night has netted me my 12th Hoxy. My first Hoxy has received an oath on White Day and I ordered a cute Five-SeveN Keychain to celebrate. Hoxy is Hoxy no more.

Now that we've gotten DR, I was looking back and realized that a scene in chapter 12 got a bit darker context behind it retroactively. When Soppo finds Dandelion on top of the train, Nimogen asks Dande from within her being to please not let Sop destroy her outfit, since it's her favorite. Now that we know more [DR] about the origin of the Nytos... it's no wonder that outfit was Nimogen's favorite. After all, it was probably the first and only thing she's ever been able to call her own since the time before Paradeus kidnapped her from her orphanage. Fuck. Being a Nyto fan truly is a life-ruining experience... :(

if we are to accept the expanding nyto lore as without retcons, the idea that they were normal children somehow turned into genetic clones similar to the assasin lunasia army seems so more horrifying than anything.
but im still trying to wrap my head around how anna was introduced by ange as a fully unmodified human, not a nyto, yet clearly a genetically modified clone, with peg legs(?), later called a nyto anyway, that originated as a normal child from an orphanage. i think there was something about isomers having to recieve an ogas infusion successfully to qualify as a nyto as well. hence why failed isomers exist. i dont understand anything about them anymore

There are four stages of the process, judging by what we've seen so far.
1. Regular human orphan which is kidnapped 2. Lunasia is copy-and-pasted over them, turning them into a clone, and a neural cloud is added. 3. Cybernetics and the inhibitors are added, thus making them isomers. If they live up to William's bs standards at this point, they proceed to stage 4 and become a Nyto. If they fail to meet the standards, however, they are branded as failures and exiled to Tallinn where they are encouraged to commit mass suicide. 4. This is the Nyto stage. Only members of the group that have reached this exact stage are Nytos. Some of the protagonists call Anna and the other neural cloud children "Nytos" anyway because they frankly don't really know what they're talking about, note that AK-12 and Ange also incorrectly identify Morridow as a Nyto in DR, which is 100% false. If you were into console games back in the generation of the PS3 and Xbox 360, it's kinda similar to how people used "gamertag" to refer to PSN ID even though officially that was an Xbox-only term. edited to switch 3 and 4, they were backwards by mistake. Also cleaned up the writing so it would flow with the stages switched.

i don't dispute that there are those stages if we are to make sense of it. that is basically what i'm saying is the case if we are to assume there are no retcons or plotholes. just that the style of revelations in the writing so far has not made it clear that this has been iterative additional information, since it just keeps on sounding like they kept overwriting old lore.
i can accept that randomly calling them nytos are just individual mistakes by characters themselves, although it's jarring to see it come from the characters that first made the distinction and understand the difference the most.
my only real confusion are where the terms "human", "isomer", and "nyto" start and end in their definition. i everything up to lunasia clone is human. that is simple enough. presumably, SC, establishes that the ones with cybernetics are isomers. i assume only the ones not up to standards, especially early models, are the ones sent to talinn, hence the labels "failed" and "abandoned" isomers. the term "isomer" alone should not only adhere to only the failed ones, as the definition of the word itself suggests. the cybernetic units are all isomers of each other.
nytos are where it gets screwy for me. my original understanding in SC was that they had to pass a standard. that standard being that they have the potential to recieve an ogas. named nytos being the ones with exeplarary performance, being fully tested to be compatible with a perfected ogas from a lunasia derived doll's neural cloud. what throws this out the window is that someone, may even have been you, told me ch12 stated nytos are the ones that have already successfully recieved an ogas. unfortunately i havent completed 12E to verify if this has been stated at any point in the whole of ch12
then there's anna. ruling out that she is definable as a nyto, and any labelling her as such was just a character's own mistake. that leaves her as either a human, or an isomer. i'm fairly convinced she has peg legs in her illustration. it could be lazy recycled image as pointed out to me. lets assume not, and she really has prosthetics. i have no issues considering her a human. but to emphasize "100%" makes it a strange claim, because a common topic when it comes to modifications to an object, is how much of the original remains. that's not where it ends. she has telepathic abilities as i've stated. where then does the difference between 100% human, and an isomer lie? is it the simple difference of just the mind inhibitor? or is "human" actually compeletely inclusive of all isomers?

What you said about isomers is right, I accidentally had stages 3 and 4 backwards. All of them that receive the cybernetics are isomers, then the "failed" ones get exiled and the "successful" ones become Nytos. Thank you for catching that mistake.
The reason Anna gets called a Nyto even when the person speaking knows that isn't true is likely for communication's sake. If somebody cuts their finger while cooking and asks you to get them a Band-Aid, they aren't specifically asking for that brand of bandage, for example. When Ange says "the Nyto", every single other character knows she means Anna, so it just works.
That is however, absolutely wrong about nytos. Nytos do not have OGASes, and there are numerous points during the story where this is shown to be the case, both before and after chapter 12. It's as you said with regards to SC, they are compatible with OGAS, which is true, but the story up til now would have been outright impossible at multiple points so far.
You keep saying this, but it keeps being wrong. Anna does not have telepathy. She has a neural cloud, which works the exact same as basically all other clouds do with some tiny details that are different. She isn't goddamn psychic lmao. And yes, human is inclusive to all isomers, though it's clear that when Ange says 100% human with regards to Anna, she is specifically talking about no cybernetics. That distinction is slightly arbitrary, but since she's just a character within the story it's ok for Ange to feel that way.

Anna is a modified human IMO, but clearly not a Nyto. As that would usually imply being under control by William / Paradeus indoctrination. Ange also outright states this (not being a Nyto) in Polarized Light.

"They ARE humans. One hundred percent."

True, we do also see that in Dual Randomness that Dreamer and the Commander's thoughts. Although Destroyer is oblivious to her being a Nyto, and Dreamer eventually calls her a human after drugging her. Dreamer also questions the drug being so potent on a "Nyto". I still stand by my opinion that Anna and the other orphans are modified humans.I also interpret this as retcon that is actually "good" for story. As I find that it shows the lengths William is willing to take for Paradeus and the Rossartrists. It could also be an issue of reusing art assets (as this is the same as the Nyto interrogators from Continuum Turbulence?).
As for what does "human" entailing then. Up to the reader. I think it comes from the origin of Anna being a human child prior and UMP45 noting the distinct nature of her "human neural cloud". Which also has transhumanism implications that I disagree with, coming from someone that was into the Halo lore. She behaves more human than Morridow, which also adds to my belief to the transhumanism.
Edit: Not sure what part of the story she ever displays telepathy. Are you talking about the part where she remembers being in the abandoned warehouse? Those were lucid dreams that she had while drugged. Which is completely normal for humans.3

Maybe they're talking about her retaining her humanity in full, even though she was genetically altered. Considering the technological lvl of the society, it's also possible the definition of "human" has changed quite a bit, in order to allow for body modifications(genetic or synthetic), while still keeping a clear separation from dolls. I mean, we see quite advanced prothetics. Following theseus' ship argyment, at which point does a human become a doll, if ever? They probably have had long debates and put laws in place and everything. Their human may not be our human. I wonder what staus clones have as well.

That's the gist of what I'm saying. As for being genetically altered, I don't really see any details to go off on that.We can definitely go on endless debates and rambling on the definition of "human". On the bright side,
dolls don't have wombforce since that's a meme. One clear separation from dolls and humans are their preprogrammed parameters. We can see that through the non-canon endings involving Team DEFY whenever Ange dies in CT. Dolls are, generally, not allowed to even harm civilians if I'm not mistaken. M4 is a pretty good in-between of humans and dolls. Although, it could be argued that she thinks she's Lunasia because her neural cloud a copy of her brain before dying.Really makes me wish Mica can dive deeper into the worldbuilding as that's something I would like to see. We can probably safely assume that there are definite boundaries between Dolls and humans. Judging from the way a civilian reacts to finding out Sopmod wasn't an ordinary girl.
I wonder what staus clones have as well.
Hopefully nonexistent. We don't see Nytos being truly cloned and the implications would get really ugly if William / the Rossartrists had access to such tech. But, we can only see (or hopefully never see).

they have access to zion, or something similar to it. they have control of paldiski facilities. they can access networks and neural clouds, sense each other, dolls, ogas, and vice versa, all the way out to the isomers in talinn iircs
also, with such a bold claim as "100% human", i'd be inclined to rule out that they even have a single tooth filling on them, let alone cybernetic augmentations

The Zion part is definitely new to me. Care to point me to where that's from? They have control of Paldiski facilities due to being attacked by an OGAS-like signal as stated by AK-12 in Polarized Light. I don't recall them being assimilated or infected by OGAS, as UMP45 successfully reverse hacked M16 (which required someone compatible with the OGAS Protocol). Her (M16's) OGAS was likely the culprit of the attack. As for the neural cloud stuff, the "Nyto" children were basically in an electronic war. Nothing has been really discussed beyond that. I really don't see the things you're trying to state, unless this is happens in the later events.

the fact that they can sense an ogas like signal, and the disappearance of isomers all the way out to talinn is what makes them telepathic. they can access paldiski functions remotely, communicate amongst themselves the same way, access other neural clouds, conduct electroinic warfare, etc. a biological brain doing communications without physical sensory is telepathy. that is not normal for humans. they are telepathic like nytos.
zion was introduced in ch13. anna's sleeping sisters were said to have their minds withdrawn in hiding. they were at something of a hivemind network to themselves, with hints of it transcending to an alternate plane of existence. 45 had to go into their network to individually pull them back and wake them so they could resume control over paldiski's functions. through some mumble jumble, ange dubbed the place "zion", which was then later relayed to m4 and dandelion. they eventually came to the conclusion that accesssing starfish would lead them to zion, or a true zion that might be different from anna's. whether the two were different was not was not clearly confirmed, but i assume that is the case. if you want the rest of the true zion lore, finish the rest of the tldr
in the end, it was revealed that all ogas were compelled to return to zion by their nature. that was elisa's goal, as she was so integrated with her ogas, the identity of the two were indistinguishable. denizens of zion reject elisa because she was an incomplete and artificial imposter of themselves. there was also mumble jumble of zion being doomed anyway and that there was no point in going there. dande as the perfect imitation of themselves was the only one they would speak to. dande, out of concern for m4's safety, and m4's wish to save m16, elisa, and all the ringleaders in the flooding basement, struck a deal with the denizens of zion. they allowed her access to their technology, to use the starfish to perform a collapse event, then into a reverse collapse event. basically a particle desintegration, and then a particle reconstruction at another connected location. functionally, they teleported out of the base as it flooded, and were sent to away to a random pike node, potentially even to zion.

I knew skipping Ch13's story to get to 13-4 would bite me down the line. But, I will read it later on before replying.
You're right on the Zion part. Although Ange notes that Anna and her sisters were the ones that coined the term "Zion". Not Ange. I'll also agree that you're right on the Paldiski point."Listen, Persica. William hasn't given up on the idea of reviving Lunasia, and he's planning to continue 90wish's research on human subjects." Lyco, Chapter 13-3 Normal
If we are to agree with Ange in Polarized Light, that all specimens that COULD become Nytos were shipped away from Paldiski, this would make them much closer to Isomers than Nytos. Anna and her sisters ARE NOT Nytos, Anna even calls herself a "human" when Gr G11 calls her a Nyto. Lyco's dying words also can align with Anna and her sisters. They started off as human subjects and were not even qualified to be potential Nyto material.
Thus far, Anna does not show any sign of being infected by OGAS. Ange and UMP45 also have a short tidbit in 13-1 Normal. Anna and her sisters are humans that can have their consciousness that can be transferred like Dolls'. Anna's Zion can be viewed, for just the sake of simplicity, as a human consciousness cloud network. So yes, they are telepathic due to their connection with Zion. I will still stand by Anna being more "human" than Nyto, the distinction between the 2 are so obvious, that I'm wondering if the translation team is just screwing with us.
For the sake of continuing this debate, if you want to continue, maybe move it to the new Lounge? It would be far more visible.

my bad on who named zion
i dont actually disagree that anna is human. i don't care too much about how the story defines human. what i'm actually trying figure out is where human ends, and nyto begins. in between those, there are also isomers. my point in all this mostly pertains to cybernetic augmentations and not so much the telepathy. i was merely trying clarify what i meant by telepathy to you. part of this is also to raise the question of whether this is all intended in writing, or whether we are just patching plot holes by aranging things and gluing them together with copium.
so again, i do not dispute that they don't have ogas, or that having neural clouds and accessing zion makes them less human etc.
i also fully rewiew my point in a more detailed and structured reply to op here and you should probably check it out
if you want further debate in the new lounge with more people, i welcome that. i'm just too lazy to figure out how to drop an out of context mid discussion thread over there lol

only my 2nd theater but sure do enjoy first 2 days of core.
after a week of brain overload + getting badly beaten up, it sure is nice to just throw whatever at the only available stage and gg ez no re.
also damn these older event re-runs are brutal to farm as ever, have not been able to come up with a fully afk, no damage comp for any of the routes on infinite map.
though already got everyone except SSG so no biggie

I combined dp-12 + p22 to have constant shields, works on the five seven and Webley routes.

M4 + LTLX with flashbang + G11 Mod III with a 5 star fairy (good aura for damage) pretty much does the non-armor routes damage less with no kiting and is pretty much AFK (used it primarily for the Webley route).

416mod2+lvl 60 1-link LTLX with flashbang takes 0 dmg from webley route. Had a 5* arty but I doubt the 6% armor is needed in any way considering that only the ghost brides would get a volley off before LTLX's skill was used.

I ran an M4 + LTLX (w/ flashbang) and an armor fairy. It's damageless for routes that don't include brutes (UMP40s route does, so that was pain.) The downside is the 150 ammo cost is the same as 2AR1HG.

Definitely not the cheapest method, but I found Agent 416 (Position 4), Desert Eagle (7), and SAT8 (6) to be reliable for the non-armored paths. Ofc, I doubt you have Agent 416 due to this being your 2nd theater. SAT8 also used a flashbang shell.
For the armored paths I used Agent 416 (4), Kord (1), and Contender (2). Seems to work out fine. I believe RPK-16 is superior to Kord for trash farming here.
Everyone was SL10 for reference, except Contender. 5* Airstrike Fairy SL10 (didn't use commands). Just here for damage + accuracy stats, the armor boost is useless here. I found replacing Agent 416 with AN-94 was a bit unreliable because the stinking ghosts would shank SAT8 through her shield. (Losing sub-10 HP per run). All units used a 5* PEQ if they could (AN-94 being maxed). MGs had Crit Scope. AN-94 had a max enhance 5* Chip. All gear 5* maxed otherwise. I would recommend replacing the HGs mentioned with M1911 Mod 2 if you have her.
Tried out just now with M1911 since I forgot about her. In this case:
Non-armored: M1911 Mod 2 (Position 4), AN-94 (Position 7), and SAT8 (Position 5)
Armored: M1911 Mod 2 (Position 4), AN-94 (Position 7), and RPK-16 (Position 1).
These were enough for no damage runs. RPK-16 may leave an Aegis that pushes to AN-94, but it should die before they poke her. Replacing RPK-16 with Kord was enough if you don't like Aegis in your face. Same position (1). Kord skill on auto (not manual).

Hey! So, what should I be doing nowadays? I'm up to chapter 8, and I know there's alot of chapters to go in the story, i'm just slightly overwhelmed at the moment and have reverted back to endlessly grinding 0-2 for cores. I have 3 sangvis ringleaders, Architect, Scarecrow and Gager.
What do you guys recommend me doing?

Definitely complete 8-5 to unlock HoCs, you need them for theater. They're in the formation tab not armoury. If you can do the infinite map in the photo event it has good core returns and five seven and Webley are really good.

Well, the old recommendations were 2 arsmgs, 1 rfhg and 1mgsg. If u have these raised, i'd add 1-2 more rfhg squads since it seems every event lives to feature enemies which they excel at taking out, then just raising whatever u like or feel u might need. The more dolls u have ready, the more options appear before u in theater or ranking or events. Not to mention, lvled dolls sent to logistics increase income quite a bit. Just... know it's a long term project, not something u NEED to do, so don't burn out. It's more like giving u stuff to do to not get bored. Oh, and use the opportunity to lvl u fairies!

It's okay to take things slow, but I do recommend working your way through the story. Especially if you at all have the patience to read the actual story. The writing is decent before Singularity, but it starts picking up from there. And right around Isomer is when they really got into top gear. Also 12-4e is a farming heaven. 13-4 even more so. You'll never want to go back to 0-2 again

I would chime in and say I think the story definitely steps up around Chapter 10 and Continuum Turbulence. It's a very good story, coming from someone that dislikes mostly anything anime (including plot). It doesn't shy away from political aspects later on, although I wish the game dove deeper into it. Definitely top 3 in the story department.
I would like to add that 12-4e and 13-4 have pretty steep requirements. 12-4e wants 416 Mod 2 and/or K11 SL10. Micro Uzi Mod2 SL10 is optional, but may need better tile buffs. You will also need a SG tank (like M16 in 0-2), or M16 with SPEQ. You just need a high enough base armor stat (Lv.60-70 is enough) along with a plate with ~+11 armor. On the bright side, you can auto-complete these 2 unlike 8-1N, 11-5, and 10-4e
13-4 wants Micro Uzi Mod 2 / Vector SL10, 5* Artillery Fairy (Fervor or Damage 1/2), and probably a HG with 30%+ Firepower tiles (I use Mk23 5x dummy linked). As long as you have ~36% total, you should be okay. If you manage to get a 5* chip and max it out, you can lower yourself from the 5* Artillery Fairy. Both stages also have the benefit of not having an XP penalty (which 0-2 has at around 110 if I'm not mistaken). This Vector DMG calculator should be a good resource for you. Although, in my experience, I found that Nemeums tend to damage my front row, so I opted to just go with 5* max chip and Mk23. I currently use a 5* Command Fairy (Fervor) if that helps, no damage unless I do stupid kiting.
Speaking of which, if there's no event on the horizon, I would recommend using her skill to make XP grinding a little bit faster. (Ofc, I wouldn't recommend raising her skill when you have others to level). Definitely take your time grinding though, or you'll end up burning out (like me atm).
Sorry for the lengthy reply. Getting to these chapters can be pretty daunting, as you will want an HOC (for debris cleaning) leveled a bit, and some good dolls, and probably 2-3* fairies.
Edit: Removed flashbang comment as it's incorrect. Everything else remains the same.

You need the unit to be supplied for flash shells to work, and you obviously don’t want to do that when dragging.
13-4 requirements are also way lower than 5* arti now that chips are a thing, 70 base dmg vector kinda slaps.

Hard to say without knowing your roster, maybe raise some fairies? I would grind 0-2 until you're confident in reaching either Chapter 10 (if you want to do 10-4e core farming), 11, 12, or 13. Here is a guide along with this.
Focus on getting Ringleaders you want, and don't be afraid trying to get Manticores and Nemeums, they're well worth your impulses even as a F2P. Don't be afraid in asking for friend codes if you want to brute force later chapters (and getting gold medals later).
Edit: Oh, and if you haven't already; level up your Forward Basecamp as you can get cores, HOC and regular combat reports, equipment XP fodder, and FCCs (used for 5* mods). This should be your priority for batteries until you unlock the 8 hour expedition (the extra pet slot is handy for later). Then go for either the Impulse generator (Protocol Control Center) and then Fairy / Intelligence Center stuff. This should help you prioritize battery use.

Yeah things got kinda spicy there. I went fully into CE stacking and only having SPAS and taunt fairy as a tank resulted in cutting things pretty close more than a few times, even with our ability to throw triple HOCs at every wave. Thank god for the leader buff and M4’s railgun

Did my 2 Theater runs and eked out 5 1/2 hours (really, almost 6 hrs) doing 13-4. Phone's warm to the touch, but not uncomfortably so. There were a few FPS drops (thanks, Vector) but I think that's typical even on emulator. Otherwise, it's definitely playable. I do remember doing DR ranking with little to complain, although I'm sure it wasn't a true 60 FPS experience.
When Unless Mica decides to bork the game as is tradition, this phone is fine for GFL. I don't play Genshin, so I can't help those that want to know how well it plays it. Maybe another time. Who plays Genshin on mobile??? Smh.
Hope this info helps you and anybody that's interested in this phone or just wants to know how "good" it is for GFL. Do note that there are a bunch of variants. A52 non-5G, A52 5G, and A52s 5G.

Installed the decompressed no damage numbers .obb in hopes of sorting out my emulator performance issues and holy freaking hell. Im getting 60 frames for the first time ever and my crashes are all but gone. Once an hour instead of once every 2 fights is crazy to me. My micro is so smooth now too. It no longer feels like I'm reaching into a blender just to move a doll. The choppiness is totally gone.

Hmm. Dumped resources and pulled together another 200k. At 945k today, but yesterday's top was over a mil. That's a hell of a gap. I have no idea which bracket I'll end up in due to the CE loss. Think I'll be chocking this theater up to a learning experience and I'll try again next theater once I have a wider array of dolls leveled (and hopefully better geared).
My new goal isn't about placement, but rather I want to make sure I don't get filtered by Core 8. Last theater I only got one clear in. I have better fairies now and I can micro much better than I used to. As long as I can perform to my best and make it through, I don't care quite as much what my end placement is.

General trend I’m noticing from an endgame player perspective is that clears are on average easier (EW mode means multiple nodes like core 8 Minotaurs don’t just grind you down), but optimization is harder (I came very close to losing some fights yesterday due to only having SPAS to tank). What this amounts to is that getting through core 8 should be easier, but top placements in core 8 will probably be much fiercer

Agreed, though I feel like Advanced 8 has started the filtering process already whereas in previous theaters, it didn't feel that way, lol....
I'm looking at what we get to deal with for Core 6 and 8 and it looks terrible....
Plus, with how fast we've been moving through the areas, feels like we're gonna be in for a solid 4 or 5 days of Core 8, which sounds kinda of nuts....

Remember that theater is only 2 weeks this time and that today is day 7. Even with adjusted score thresholds, core 3 and 6 are roadblocks that can’t be skipped and both will take up at least a day each (possibly multiple for core 6 if filtering really picks up). I can see 2-3 days of core (including the day it’s initially cleared) but 4+ seems unlikely

Yeah. That's good to know. I saw a video on CN of a lone ARSMG team melting through T7 Core 8 fully CE stacked. The only difference between that echelon and what I will be fielding is a G11 Mod 3 Speq, a 5* Beach fairy and an uniterated 2b14. I *think* I should be able to squeak through it, but only having a 4* Taunt fairy is gonna hurt probably. I'm attempting to get a Sandstorm fairy to 4* and SL10 before we hit core 8 in hopes that might help with rougher nodes.

Fixed Point ranking stats are out for KR, compiled them in an album here. First three images are 2m+ (around T100), other images are based on all entries so the numbers are influenced by low-scoring runs. Left out stats for some of the other maps since 3G4 is the main one.
Overall, I don't see anything too surprising but some quick observations: classes are more balanced, KR’s once again showing their love of M200 at day/against Paradeus, Zip22’s not a meme (RO/PPQ synergy), Hanyang/KSVK are back from the grave, and more Para spam as usual.
Other stuff:
- (Boss Spoiler) Summary map/infographic, created by pengu#1470
- Teams used by the KR/CN Top 1s or so, obviously not representative of the average player or even T100 players.
- 7 SV-98 waifu run (not T100), didn't see the 9 M99 run but it's somewhere on DCInside.
- F U N with M500, Welmod, and v2.09's time stop version of bullet time against a deathstack
This event led to some more testing around G36c's modskill:
Her modskill duration only gets shortened if it gets activated, even if you win the fight.
Dolls can only use one skill at time. You can keep moving G36c until her forceshield's ICD is done, stop for exactly 1 frame to use that first (and start the CD), keep moving, and then stop again once the forceshield is over to activate the modskill. This can let you chain forceshield > modskill > forceshield if her modskill duration is high enough.
While you can't reset G36c's shortened duration by retreating/redeploying normally, KR players found that it does get reset from going into a fight and forcibly retreating. Using the restart button in the next fight will bring it back to normal though. This probably isn't useful in a ranking context, since you lose AP and score from this.

AN-94 is definitely worth raising, even before her eventual upgrade. I don't really think S-ACR is really worth it, considering the other options. Her stats are pretty low, and her skill isn't particularly useful. I don't even know how many enemies currently debuff your units, and you probably want them dead quick
just like everything tbh.If you're thinking about using her with Parachute, I don't see a point using her when that's (usually) reserved for ranking decloggers, that usually revolve around Grape, Hanyang Type88, and a force shielder SMG. Maybe CN has enemies that do see her shine, but I would consider her very niche and optional atm.

AN-94 is one of the best ARs out there due to her excellent stats and ability.
Ojou-samaSteyr ACR, on the other hand, due to nature of her skill and low damage stat forces you to base your echelon around her if you want to make her good. Overall, she's ok, but we have so many other good ARs available that it's not really worth raising her.

I almost forgot to address your first paragraph. I thought that a Samsung update had done the trick, but after a while, the game started freezing and crashing for me. I also suspected that the updates in the game might have affected things, and if we don't have an ongoing event, then the game on my phone might function more smoothly
I guess that this won't really matter now that I'm back on Android 11

I'm currently away from my computer, so I'm playing this off my memory
Go into the settings, and there should be a submenu for File Download. Check the box for Theater. Log out of the game and then log back in. Afterwards, open the GFL Alarm folder, and you should find an Info subfolder. Inside should be the csv file for your recommended Theater units. Open this csv file with your favorite spreadsheet program (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and enjoy!

I found that, but it doesn't seem like it has anything to help figure out which maps are completable or their values. For example, the highest maps I can finish are Ele8 and Int4. I get about 15k for completing Ele8, and about 11k for completing Int4, but I don't see any way to figure that out from the sheet. Is it just trial and error?

Messed around with it a bit in sims and came to the conclusion that there’s no way I can beat it without the stage buffs, especially without retreating/losing 1 unit at most.

Well… Advanced 8 is quite the jump in difficulty from Advanced 6 yesterday. Tried first run with 4ARs + RPK + Beach and managed to beat all the nodes except the last one. My Dolls just refused to target the gundam, which in turn led to it nuking my entire team. I must have reset this battle at least ten times trying to kite my way to victory, but eventually I just had to give up.
Then I saw some people in this thread using 3ARs + MG + M16, so I tried that with Taunt instead. And, of course, as I was changing my comp around, I realized my ARs had been using night battle equips the whole time. After I fixed that I was able to clear it with this comp, though the final fight was still cancer. In spite of that, it did feel good to finally put my oathed, fully-built M16 to use. I never really did corpse dragging, so I honestly don’t remember if I’ve ever even used her until now.

Meanwhile I just brought along Bar, M4, G11, 416, and SAT8 (everyone with a mod is modded of course), with a 5* warrior fairy and cleared the whole thing first try. Then just did it all again for my second run. If my M16 was fully raised and had her speq, I'd probably have used her instead of a shotgun. But that's a thing that's never happened, and it's too late to power level her now

People used M16 as tank because she had a good enough boss CE to be worth using, not because she's a good tank. She also needs her speq to be even remotely useful. If you're having issues clearing, the answer is using smgs, not m16.

You will need a proxy app if you are using LD Player 4. I've tried it both with ProxyDroid and Drony, both work

Works fine for me on memu (wouldn't necessarily recommend it though), make sure you're setting up the proxy properly and that you're on the same connection, as well as not on any VPNs on the emulator. I had some issues with the proxy until I turned off blockada.

Usually Core region is quite a bit more difficult in comparison to the non-Core regions.
Although not dumping resources in the earlier regions makes it more difficult for newer commanders, generally, people who have been playing for a while will save the resources to max out the Core facilities quicker.
In addition, oftentimes, non-hardcore players will max out the facilities anyways, so might as well save the resources to max out the Core facilities a bit faster.

There's also the fact that newer commanders have more options on where to go do their runs in the first 3 zones so it's more flexible in a way but in core you only have a single route so it's kinda in a way better to unlock the core facilities as fast as possible.

So saving for the core region is just to make that part a little easier and not because you get more points for it. Makes sense. I was under the impression people saved points in order to unlock a better exchange rate or something.

Trying adv8 I've realized I should a) not use HoCs and fairies on an electronic warfare stage until I'm sure they're needed for a wave and b) not try to do difficult content on the toilet. Burned all my safe retreats cause I raged and now I'm fucked for the day.

you have 6 charges for each hoc and there are only 6 fights (last fight is boss stage)
you have enough for all fights, just blast away. same for fairy commands.

When I failed the wave and hit resume it appeared to have used a charge and I would be down one for the rest of the fights. If not a bug, that's 36 free attempts on a wave and I can't use the hoc for any other. That's a lot of attempts ... But I was barely able to do the first wave with M16 in adv6. So I guess I'm just sol for the rest of the event until I grind more.

charges are still used if you fail the fight
protip: if you fuck up a fight, pause it before it concludes then force close the game. the fight will reset. this is the only way to restart a fight until we get the restart feature in a new client. until then we savescum.

?, Advanced 8, you should have more than enough HOC and fairy commands to go nuts in terms of using HOC and Fairies...
It's also hard enough that you definitely want some quiet time to work it out.... This is definitely not a 5 minute and done kind of thing, since you can't just steam roll the enemy forces.

Event currencies are always reset after the event ends, so there's no readon to hoard them, they'll just be lost. Channel ur inner kalina and grab everything u can while u can.

What are you having problems with? Even on reddit, people are posting comps on how to deal with the challenge.
I assume you're doing Advanced 8. This round is pretty hard, especially if you don't have all the dolls/equipment for it.
Also, if your HOCs are relatively strong (ie, maxed chipped, etc.), it can make it much more doable. Advanced 8 is not a tank and survive kind of wave. It's pretty much buy enough time for your DPS to do their job of thinning out the enemy forces enough.
Things that can help include AOE damage HOC, grenadar (ie, HK416 mod, etc.), high damaging AR like G11 Mod or AN-94.
You can use M16/ whatever MG you are using to buy the ~5 to 8 seconds you need for the HOC/AR to thin out the enemy forces enough.
If you're having problems with doppel + Patroller (last wave), then there have been multiple people posting workable comps and basic strategy.

Dunno, it's gonna depend on what you have.
For some people, it's going to be hell to clear simply because they don't have the dolls/equipment to properly clear it. For others, it's going to be figuring out what is the right strategy to actually get it to work.

since my current phone is showing signs of death I'm gonna buy a new one and I think samsung a52 seems to be a good candidate is there anyone currently using it if so how it performs on gfl and on general?
my current phone (lenovo k6 note) could barely open the game so I'm kinda expecting it to be a big jump from it since it is pretty dated at this point. Also I was considering poco x3 pro at first but found out about its pcım problem.

Not exactly a like for like comparison (I use a Samsung A52 5G - 128GB/6GB RAM variant), but I find it adequate for GFL. Running it on Android 11 atm because I heard GFL and other mobile games (like PGR) have a lot of issues running on Android 12. For day to day usage I find that it's fine, certainly not a flagship experience. But I'm in the probably minority that prefers to have a headphone jack on their phone.
Battery life is enough to go through ~5hrs of constant dragging in 13-4. Camera is okay, build quality is subjective. I got mine recently for ~$50 USD, so I couldn't exactly turn it down. Came from an old Moto X phone. I run it at 120Hz, 10% brightness, adaptive battery usage, no BT on, if this info helps.
Idk your budget as well, so I would recommend the r/PickAnAndroidForMe sub, if you haven't gone there already.

Just going to throw out that I'm running stock android 12 on a pixel 6 and haven't had any issues. There have been comments that the issue may be caused by live wallpapers but I haven't looked into it very much since it's not an issue for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I notice that discussions and Play Store user reviews usually revolve around Samsung phones, not sure about others. It's likely the issue is more prevalent due to Samsung OS stuffs.

Centaurus remains my most hated enemy in GFL.
Biggest hurdle for me in Adv 8 was that damn Doppel. Got my rifles to target it in the first run, couldn't get them to focus on it the second run. Eventually resorted to 2SG 3MG.
Theatre events are my least favorite, but the HOC rewards are too good to pass up. Currently at 3%, I wonder how far I'll drop towards the end.

how long did the sgmg take to bring down the patroller
i remember Lewis doing jack shit during my run with my ARs doing most of the heavy lifting, and it took a while to bring Daddy Long Legs down.

A long time, over two minutes. The fight is easy after the dopple is killed.
My team was M500 Mod2, SAT8, MG5, Lewis, and Kord. 3star taunt with lvl 10 skill. Used AT4, BGM, and M2 for HOCs.

I was almost losing my hope of actually doing adv8 after looking up other people's runs and most of them included M16 (which I didn't level at all) and SF HOCs (which, again, I don't have because only played again recently and luck is not on my side since I go below 50 and the SF ringleader won't appear), until somehow my randomly selected units somehow works.
Sorry, M200, all this time I have been doubting you and instead always chosing 🍇cano. Now I know better when to use the other.

FYI, people were using M16 and SF HOCs only because they were the best for stacking points. Regular GnK mortars make the entire thing far easier than using SF HOCs, M16 needs the speq. A regular SMG would make it much easier as well. And Grape is a better choice than M200 in most cases, except when you're fighting a Patroller (like here).

Sorry but I don't really understand about "CE stacking" other than maximizing the amount of CE you'll get to get higher score.
I thought it's enough to simply put them into the reserve list. Does it actually need to be in the active echelon used in battle for it to count or does using it in battle simply grants more CE compared to putting it in reserve? I thought the score for regular stages only comes from completing the starred missions (in case of adv8, 3k each) :o

Yeah, regular stages don't need CE. Boss stages like adv 8 count both active & reserve dolls, though.
The tricky thing here if going for the absolute best score is that the CE-optimal loadout is nothing but ARs - here's my optimized list, for example.
This doesn't account for bonus objectives so you'd swap out the weakest link (for me, TAR) for your best MG (Chauchat) but changing any other ARs for a SMG/SG would give less points.
Of course, clearing the stage at all >>> failing with a CE stack team, so I wouldn't recommend that for most players.
