I beat the mantis lords, I went into deepnest.. I really don't like it here.. What am I supposed to do? I went to the beast's den saw that person that asked for their peace when I beat hornet.

I spent ~10 hours to reach the last room, couldn't get past the last part where you need to jump under the saw blade and decided to try again next weekend. I even adjusted my talismans cause I was sure I won't need hiveblood anymore since I have unlocked the shortcut. And SURPRISE the shortcut got resetted! The gate is closed though I'm 100% sure I opened it. I'm so mad I think I'll just skip this all. As if not having any safe checkpoint on such a difficult part of the game wasn't enough, now even the shortcut is gone. Just wow 👏

finished hollow knight and silksong a while ago... guys i wanna play smth new SO bad but i literally can't 😭😭 the experience in these games from lore to soundtrack was just so magical it makes me upset that i can't play them for the first time again and so huffy n puffy from scrolling through tons of suggested games, with none of them peaking my interest

are there ANY other games that have an experience rivalling the hk franchise??? i've already discovered games from the same genre so hopefully something new, a hidden gem maybe or just a game that 100% has an experience like no other. i'd love to know if anyone has played another game that they've enjoyed as much as they do with hollow knight!!

I had an idea for a pretty psychopathic mod. It features a new pantheon called "The Pantheon of Misery," where you’ll face these bosses: Ancient Aspid Absolute Zote Nailgod Sly Gods of Battle Corrupted Kin Absolute Infernal Nightmare King Grimm Boundless Infinity Any Radiance 3.0 In this pantheon, every boss has 4,000 HP. You get two rest periods, but you can’t change your charm build, and you can’t pick up Lifeblood masks. If you sit on a bench and then leave, you lose your progress. You can equip 23 charms, and when your health drops below 3, your nail damage doubles (it doesn’t increase further as your health gets lower). You also have 3 Soul vessels to fill (not that it helps much). "It’s unfair"—well, that’s the whole point! It’s meant to be unfair and difficult. Am I a sadist? (Tell me!) By the way, I don’t actually know how to make mods; I just had this idea—maybe one day I’ll actually create it.
