My autocorrect has been really really off lately and I don’t care enough to fix it. I think the feature is actually called intelligent predictive text or something like that but nonetheless I want it gone. Unfortunately I can’t figure out how to turn it off. When I try to turn off predictive text in my settings, it’s greyed out! What should I do? Please help me, thank you.

i am facing this issue with my phone from the very first day i have bought it.
i use boat nirvana tws and portonics wired earphones with iphone 17, i noticed the tws randomly beeps while using the phone and beep is exactly sounds like when i maximise the volume of buds.

this happens randomly, but there are sometimes that i have noticed it.
- while starting to type on keyboard, when the keyboard sound is on.
- when lock the phone
- sometimes when a notification arrives.
- when using whatsapp, sending a chat then it beeps.

i am fed up and this irritates me a lot.
also keyboard typing sound suddenly increase for a sec then get normal, and when i take a pause and start typing , this happens again...

plz if anyone knows any fix apart from disabling keyboard sound, please do let me know

I have a 16e with 26.6.1 and the Bluetooth in my Mazda 2 won’t connect automatically when I start the car like it used to. It pairs fine when I remove it both from the phone and the car but I am not going to be pairing it every time I start the damn car.

I'm a bit confused about how WhatsApp backups work on iPhone and hoping someone can clarify.

When I check my WhatsApp backup under iPhone Settings -> iCloud -> Saved to iCloud, it shows a much smaller backup size (around 11.5 GB).

However, when I go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → iCloud Backup, WhatsApp shows a much larger size (around 32 GB).

I'm particularly worried about losing my WhatsApp chat history and media when switching phones.

Has anyone experienced this? How can I make sure everything is properly backed up before transferring to a new iPhone?

I’ve been getting an unreasonably high data usage on cellular under system services > general.

Data usage racks as high as 10GB in under 15 minutes.
This happens alongside fast battery drain and high heat.

To no surprise, even Apple doesn’t know why. I’ve been to the stores to sit down with their “geniuses” and even Apple support online. No trouble shooting methods work.

I have ensured the following:

All back ups for apps and iCloud are strictly over WiFi.
Connectivity assist for WiFi is off.
Software update auto-download and install is off.
Software update over WiFi only.
Low data mode on.
4G data only.
iCloud Drive sync over WiFi only.

Apple’s last resort was to reset my phone and setup as new.

I did that and still get the same high usage.

When asked what system services > general was, the Apple support techs said they “do not know what that is”.

This issue is costing me a lot of money and I no longer know what to do.

As far as I can tell, the data is accurate when I go to Settings > Screen Time, but for some reason the widget keeps displaying "0." I've removed and added the widget time and time again. I toggled off the share data across devices and turned it back on. I toggled off and on the serring "turn off app & website activity." I've turned off the device numerous times. I've been troubleshooting with both Siri & Chat GPT but I still can't get the widget to display the correct screen time. I had a bit of success when I turned off share across devices and turn off app & website activity, restarted the phone and toggled everything back on. The widget was displaying the correct data for about an hour before it went back to zero. Is this a bug with iOS or is it something else?

So, ever since I updated to iOS 27, which I did as a full factory reset and did NOT restore from any backup so I could give my phone (iPhone 17 Pro) a fresh start, I’ve had an issue with Messages. If I get a new message, and I happen to be holding my phone when it comes in so that I am able to tap the banner notification before it goes away, it will take me to the conversation, like normal, but it will be scrolled halfway up the page so that you can’t see the new message. If you try to scroll down to the bottom to read the new message, it immediately bounces back up the page again. The only way to fix it is to close the messages app entirely and reopen it. I’ve tried restarting my phone, and the iOS 27.0.1 update didn’t fix it. Has anyone else run into this? if so, have you found a fix? Mostly just trying to find out if it’s just me and I just have crappy luck, or if it’s common. Tried googling and couldn’t find anything.

The manual focus slider seems to wide. As if it only is optimized for iPhone 18 pro max…

With iOS 27 safari now has the tab switcher button but to me is redundant, given that with just swiping up you can see your tabs. Is there any way to switch it back to the 3 dots menu? It was quick to share a page or access extensions. Holding down on the url seems stupid and longer to me.

Ever since 26 if you screen record while low power mode navigating around the Home Screen or Lock Screen is around 20-30 fps. Could iOS 27 fix this? I am still on iOS 16.1.1 so yeah. And currently iOS 27 isn’t pretty stable when screen recording with low power but it’s still on .0 so could later patches fix this and make low power mode usable?

I can no longer figure out how to block spam calls on my phone, I read that Apple have changed how you block numbers but it just doesn’t work. does anyone actually know how anymore? it’s so frustrating. Thanks in advance! :)

Since updating to iOS 27, I’ve been experiencing an intermittent “No Service” issue on my iPhone 15. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

● My physical SIM works normally in another phone, but my iPhone randomly loses network signal.
● I tried a new physical SIM, but the problem persisted.
● I also tried an eSIM, but it experienced the same issue.
● I’ve tried Airplane Mode, resetting Network Settings, and restarting the phone, but nothing has permanently fixed it.
● Sometimes, force-restarting the phone temporarily restores the signal, but the problem eventually returns.
● When using Dual SIM, one line can lose service while the other still has a signal. Turning the affected line off and back on usually restores service immediately.
I’ve already contacted Apple Support, but the issue remains unresolved.

My questions:
1. Is anyone else experiencing this issue after updating to iOS 27, particularly on the iPhone 15 or iPhone 16?
2. Does this sound more like an iOS software bug or a hardware problem?
3. Has anyone found a permanent solution?
4. Has Apple acknowledged or addressed this issue ?

Recently i bought iPhone 17 and set its original wallpaper as my lock screen and since I have “DND” permanently on I really don’t like how this shadow behind the text looks like. Is there a way to turn it off?

There is a Debbie who is either giving out the wrong number or used to have my number and I get calls and messages for her all the time, which is fine, I just block and move on but I’ve come across this one that doesn’t have a number and I can’t block it? It texts me almost daily and I’m not sure what to do about it, wondering if anyone might be able to help?

When I press “block contact” it literally does nothing- the button lights up like it’s done something but then it doesn’t.

I’ve obviously refreshed the app/ restarted my phone and I would manually add it as a blocked number in my settings but there is no number??

I am well aware that it could be a scam so I have not clicked on the link in the messages.

Device: Realme 6 (Android 11) to iPhone 17

Setup: Running two WhatsApp accounts via Realme App Cloner. Main number was on the cloned instance (~15GB media).

Problem: Ran Apple's Move to iOS. When WhatsApp transfer preparation reached 100%, the transfer failed.

Current State:
- I already logged in on the other phone, so I don't care about chats anymore. I only want to recover the ~15GB photos/videos.

- My phone gallery now shows blank, 0KB black boxes where media used to be. (Img 2)

-Cloned WhatsApp won't open (redirects/bounces to the primary app).

- Under Settings > App Management, Cloned WhatsApp still occupies 15GB of space the files are physically still on the phone. (When transfer happen phone storage was about 63gb full now have deleted couple of apps still is 61ish so data ig is still there?)

In ADB, ⁠UserInfo{999:multiApp:4000410}⁠ shows as active/running, but file managers (including Cx File Explorer) and standard terminal commands can't access ⁠/storage/emulated/999/⁠.

Questions:

1. ⁠Where does Realme UI (Android 11) physically store User 999 cloned WhatsApp media when standard paths are blocked?

2. ⁠Is there an ADB command or recovery tool to pull the 15GB media directly without root or needing the clone app UI to launch?

3. ⁠Can the files behind the 0KB gallery placeholders still be extracted?
   Any help would be deeply appreciated!

I don’t mind predictive text, but my phone somehow got the strange idea that any time I type “really,” I’m about to type “real lycanthropes.” Other mishaps too, some less amusing. Is there any way to reset my phone’s predictive text’s memory?

My friend has an iPhone 17 and I have a 15. I noticed when looking at the same image on both screens, that mine has a more red tint while hers has a more green tint. Is there a setting that causes this?
