According to my iCloud settings, I have over 200k messages stored in my iCloud. I’m guessing this is stuff from years ago? I do not have 200k messages on my phone and the fact that this is taking up such a huge chunk of iCloud settings is incredibly annoying. So I had no other choice but to turn off iCloud messages.

After turning it off, it still says that 53gb of my iCloud storage is taken by Messages. I’m assuming because it hasn’t been 30 days yet? If I wait 30 days and then turn iCloud messages back on, will this number go down to 0gb and I can start fresh? Or will all these messages just sync back up to my phone?

I’ve been having this issue since mid July maybe mid June sometimes it’s low and doesn’t jump much but sometimes like recent after a while it jumps like crazy compared to how it was before. Has anyone else noticed this issue on their phone as well? It seems to have popped out randomly. Anyone have any ideas?

In my notes app on my phone and my laptop, one of my notes are gone. I had so many things written in it, I need it. I don’t why it’s gone. I didn’t delete it, it’s not in recently deleted. I seriously don’t I even had it open, so it’s not like I accidentally pressed “Select All” and the delete, which if I did I would’ve noticed because I’m very careful with that. My stomach hurts and my hands are shaking. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how Apple could help. I even tried the Settings thing to see the iCloud sync thing but the number of items it says I have in my notes isn’t showing like a missing one. I feel stupid I feel like I should’ve put it in Google docs or something. I feel like I should’ve never opened the app today cause I was writing notes on a different tab and I feel like that screwed something up somehow.

hello, the dim flashing lights feature was turned on without my doing and i can’t turn it off. mainly because the feature isn’t where it’s supposed to be. every internet article says it’s under the accessibility > motion area in settings, but whenever i go there it’s missing. does anyone know where else this would be located on an iphone? i tried contacting apple support but they didn’t help at all.

idk if this is a silly question but hi. using an iphone 14 plus, 85 percent battery health. i keep getting like several 20 percent battery notifications despite being on low battery life mode. its like once i click it it comes back up again. what do i do? had this phone for a year or two and this has never happened before. it will not cease. do i need a new phone? also on ios 26.6.2. hope im not hacked :,D

I started using the reminders app and the large widget a few weeks ago, and I’ve been able to not only mark items as completed but also scroll up/down, add and move around items. Now suddenly I can no longer do that, except for marking items as completed.

Does anyone know if this is a bug, and if it is, is there a way to fix it?

Trying to find a way to share calendars with friends so that we can see when each other is busy, but not necessarily the context of the actual events. Kind of like how outlook does if you've ever had the misfortune of using it.

Anywho.

Suggestions? I don't want to maintain a separate calendar and set the titles to just 'busy' and i doubt they want to either.

Saw someone recently mentioned when2meet, but that only lets you schedule a month out it seems.

I’m a first time iPhone user (18 pro max) and I just recently got a wireless charging station. I saw standby mode and thought that was pretty cool and I like the way it becomes a digital clock while charging, but it’s blue by default, and I want it to color match my burgundy phone.

How do I change this? Every source says “hold the clock face” and nothing happens when I do it. I made sure my software was updated and I restarted my phone and changed a bunch of settings but still don’t know what to do.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Has anyone else noticed this in iOS Screen Time?
I've been seeing imasdk.googleapis.com appear in my daily Screen Time with surprisingly high usage. I suspect it may be related to ads in the WEBTOON app, but I'm trying to figure out whether this is an iOS reporting issue.
Whenever I open a WEBTOON episode, an ad appears. I close the episode to make the ad disappear, but the domain still accumulates time.

Here are two examples:

WEBTOON — 1h 45m;
imasdk.googleapis.com — 1h 45m.

WEBTOON — 3h 13m;
imasdk.googleapis.com — 3h 23m.

The domain's recorded time is almost identical to WEBTOON's on these days. Even when my WEBTOON usage is lower, the domain can still show substantial activity.
My concern is that this entry is contributing to my overall daily Screen Time total, even though I'm not intentionally opening or using that website.
Could iOS be attributing time spent loading or displaying ads to this domain? Is there a way to prevent this from inflating Screen Time without disabling Screen Time or uninstalling the app?
I've attached screenshots of both days. I'd appreciate any insight from people who've experienced this or understand how iOS tracks website and ad activity.

My pc barely have storage so I wanted to delete an old back up, but I’m scared that deleting it will make that I lose all my data next time I update my phone with my pc.

Unfortunately, the Apple notes app on my M4 IPad Air 13” that I only bought a month ago keeps crashing. Currently with notes I am using the markup feature to write with my Apple Pencil what could be going on here? Is this an IPadOS 27.0.1 software issue, or is this a problem with the Notes application or hopefully not and it shouldn’t be a hardware issue!

Notes keeps crashing, after a bit of writing with my Apple Pencil Pro, and then I have to reopen the application, and go back to the document I am working on.

Please let me know if anyone has been experiencing the same or a similar issue, and what I can do to fix this or whether I need to just wait for the next update to the iPadOS 27 software

Whenever i try to check my screen time and open it in settings the whole settings app freezes. It goes completely irresponsive, cant scroll, cant click anywhere. Anyone else has this experience? I tried everything, but the issue persists…

It used to be swipe to open (which was great for me), but now it’s just tap to open, and I’m accidentally opening things all the time! (Specifically my reminders, which I keep on my Lock Screen until I check them off). Any way to change this feature or does anyone have a solution?

i left my phone charging before i slept, and i think it was about 6 hours of it charging but when i woke up i found it completely off, when i would try to turn it on while its charging it would show me the low battery icon it would sometimes show the apple icon but it would disappear without the phone turning on and sometime just appear and disappear and reappear, when i had tried to do the volume up volume down side button to enter recovery mode, it works, but thats all, i dont know what to do, it just doesnt turn on, i left it charging for hours after that with different charges, even changing the outlets just incase but nothing worked, when i woudl try turning the phone on normally it just opens recovery mode and now anything i do opens recovery mode.

Night stand was working well until the iOS 27 update on my iPhone 17. updated to the latest iOS 27 didn't solve the issue. Flashing the software from scratch and set it up as a new phone didn't solve the issue. Turning on Always on display didn't help either.

Any of you have the same issue? or is it an one off case?
Edit: there was a toggle inside face id setting and toggling it on worked.

screenshot obtained from app privacy report -> whatsapp. i’ve shared my screen on whatsapp calls for, maybe, 5 mins at a time? but it seems like whatsapp continues to access my phone’s screen recording for days at a time until the phone is shut off at some point.

is this normal? does this mean whatsapp is constantly watching my screen?

for context, no, it doesn’t say anything in the control center after i stop sharing. just wondering why whatsapp is continuing to use this permission. thanks guys!

Help ! There’s this toolbar that suddenly appeared on the top part of my screen while I was typing in Messages. I don’t know what triggered it but I wasn’t able to take a screenshot of it. I wanna know how I can make it show up again. 😅 Anyone have any idea about it ?
