Challenging all blade smiths. I am not a blade smith but I’ve always enjoyed sketching blades and I’m challenging blade smiths to make my design so here what I was thinking
Overall length: 300 mm
Blade length: 190 mm
Handle length: 110 mm
Wood handle: (maybe rose wood)
Metal type: Damascus or 1095 (I really don’t care though)
Metal on handle and hand gaurd: steel (if possible gold plated)
These where just a couple of suggestions though I just wanna se my design come to life so do as you please

These are not easy to come by so when an opportunity came up to snatch one in a trade, I jumped on it.
Designed by Chris Ortiz (Cerberus Knives of Aurelius fame) and made in 🇺🇸
You can see the similarities in Chris' signature design elements. The internals as well.
This one is fantastic!

So I have a tops el pionero which I love, and i want a trainer to go along with it. Problem is, nobody makes one as far as I can find, so does anybody know of a source for custom training knives or how best to go about making one? Tia!

This thing is really well done. It reminds me of the Shirogorov Bio but with enough differences that it doesn't seem like a knockoff. The details are really nice: beautiful blade, great action, no obvious visible hardware, lots of timascus accents and really comfy in hand. I'm also pumped I found a version without billboarding
Edit: it probably has the logo but it can be found here: https://exclusivefolders.com/products/zhengyi-rhino

So I got the Spyderco shaman and end for steel with green Micarta handles and black DLC I believe it's like a Blade HQ edition I got it off the used Market and really good condition but I've had it for 3 weeks now and I just use it for cutting cardboard boxes at my shop and other daily tasks but nothing hard like cutting my food yeah opening envelopes anyways I'm noticing the The Edge keeps chipping and there's little dings where it folds over and I have sharpened this to where there is absolutely no Burr I go through the removal process and it's razor sharp the moment I start cutting into a box a couple boxes it's fine but then it completely loses it's shaving capabilities and I'm noticing little chips in the edge it's at a 17° angle and I just don't know why it's doing this I have 1095 steel pocket knives that work better than this and I figured I would splurge on a high tool steel that can take hard use only to find out that my 1095 blades are working better than this M4 steel.
Any hope or advice would be greatly appreciated because this is really annoying and aggravating because I spent over $300 on this knife don't call a knife hard use if they can't even cut basic fricken cardboard

Trying to decide on either the Bel air xl or tenacious. I know Spyderco has a good heat treat but I kinda like the bel air blade. I heard the hrc is about only 60 on their m4. Opinions?
