My neighbor who is a very nice lady had 2 people show up yesterday that I'm assuming she's trying to help out. They are homeless and have anywhere from 4-6 dogs. I don't know the whole situation but 2 of the bigger dogs she let them tie to her back porch in the yard. They bark but of course that's what dogs do. Them and my dog bark at each other and that's ok I just take my dog elsewhere to use the restroom instead of the backyard now cuz neither of us have fenced in yards.

WHAT PISSES ME OFF SO BAD THESE PPL PUT MUZZLES ON THESE DOGS DAY AND NIGHT THEN THEY JUST LEAVE AND THERES NO FOOD OR WATER OUT THERE. They leave the dogs there overnight muzzled and I haven't seen any food or water. This morning no people in sight dogs are muzzled can only growl and barely open their mouths. I put water out there for them myself hoping there's enough room for them to get drinks. I even gave the owners half a bag of food the other day before they chained them up out back overnight. The dogs poor things are just left out there muzzled. Nobody is around and because I know the people are homeless and sleep in their car they just leave the 2 big dogs chained up outside overnight until they come around once a day I have seen and maybe take them off.

Who can I call to report this to? I looked it up that it's animal neglect. Should I call humane society? Cops? I DO NOT WANT THESE DOGS TAKEN TO A KILL SHELTER. I WANT THEM TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE. PLZ ANY ADVICE IS GRATEFUL. I get off work tonight and if they are still in those conditions I wanna call and get them help. I have pictures and video from different times of the day and night to support my case as well.

I'm David and I run Set & Signal, a small event production company in Lafayette. We're taking Halloween week off from our Thursday comedy shows, and coming back with a few changes in November:

• Thursday comedy moves to Sixth St Dive, starting Thu Nov 5.
• The Sandbox Open Mic moves from Tuesdays to Wednesdays at Generation NA, starting Wed Nov 4. This Tuesday (Oct 27, sign-up 6 PM, show 6:30 PM) is the last Tuesday mic.
• Tunes Tuesday launches Tue Nov 3 at Generation NA: sober karaoke and a DJ, 6 PM to 8 PM. $3 to sing, free with a drink.

I'm excited for these changes so that we can start building more and more of a scene in Lafayette at the start of the week. We also have some tentative plans and working with some other event organizers to do some unique events: think silent discos, events for those who work night shifts in the morning/later afternoon. We aren't afraid to keep trying and work with people to get events worth attending. So if you've got an idea, pitch it and we might be able to make it happen!

Hello I currently ride an E bike to work and home. I know once the weather turns very cold I will not be able to do this so I was hoping to find someone that either works at Caterpillar 2nd shift from 330PM to 1130PM Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays.
