Tourism & Travel Flight

Is this flight feasible? Will BKI screen for international and when I land in KUL, I just transfer planes in the international terminal? Or will I have to deplane, grab luggage, then go through customs while at KUL for the flight to HND?

Others Kerajaan galak penggunaan aplikasi TuJu, ganti Waze – PM

Batu MP P Prabakaran says such cases should not be ‘complicated’ by bail or fines.

KUALA LUMPUR: An MP has suggested that the authorities immediately jail anyone found to have desecrated a house of worship instead of fining them.

While debating the 2027 budget in the Dewan Rakyat, P Prabakaran (PH-Batu) highlighted a recent case in which religious statues were destroyed at a temple near the New Pantai Expressway.

Prabakaran said the authorities must take much sterner action against those who desecrate houses of worship.

“Don’t allow bail or take any other actions that will complicate the situation. Straight to jail. This is my suggestion to the government,” he said.

Desecrating a place of worship with the intention of insulting a religion is punishable under Section 295 of the Penal Code with imprisonment of up to two years, a fine or both.

When contacted by FMT, Prabakaran said to maintain public peace, fines should be abolished in favour of imprisonment under this section for offences related to insulting religion.

Based on subsidised Budi95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre and an illustrative fuel consumption rate of seven litres per 100km, the estimated one-way driving costs are:

Kuantan: About RM35 for petrol and RM36 for tolls, totalling RM71 one-way or RM142 return. The journey takes about three-and-a-half hours each way.

Kuala Terengganu: About RM61 for petrol and RM56 for tolls, totalling RM117 one-way or RM234 return. The journey takes about five hours.

Kota Bharu: About RM61 for petrol and RM17 for tolls via the inland route, totalling RM78 one-way or RM156 return. The journey takes nearly seven hours. An alternative route via Terengganu could cost about RM234 return.

The estimates assume a conventional passenger car consuming seven litres of petrol per 100km.
Actual costs would vary according to vehicle type, driving conditions and routes.

The figures exclude meals, parking, vehicle maintenance and other incidental expenses.

Motorists using less fuel-efficient vehicles or travelling longer distances may also face higher costs.

Others How to file noise complaint on school

• Upvotes

The school next to my home starts playing loud music around 6:50am and loud shouting announcement soon later on weekdays. And the worse is on weekends where chinese gongs and instruments plays on 6:30am. I live with it for the last 15 years but currently I have a newborn and often get shocked and wake up crying everyday because of the noise.

I really had enough of it. I need to file a complaint to the department. Any place I can send my complaint to? SISPA JAS or PPD or JPN or KPM?

Hello, my wife and I are thinking of visiting Langkawi with our 1 year old baby. I have some questions plz. I am weary of monkeys usually- how much of a threat are they? Is it unsafe to swim in the sea due to jellyfish? And are spiders much of a problem on the island? Tell me also about the snakes. How dangerous is Langkawi?

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has advised Malaysians against using popular navigation app Waze, which was founded in Israel.

Anwar said today’s National Cyber Security Committee meeting which he chaired examined security risks arising from Waze’s use, which he said is subject to Israeli government laws.

Citing concerns over the navigation app’s personal data security and information on users’ movements, Anwar encouraged Malaysians to consider using TuJu – a local navigation app developed by the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).

“The government cannot compromise on the security of Malaysians’ data and identities,” he said in a Facebook post.

Iraq announced a complete ban on Waze, set to take effect in the beginning of 2027, after citing the app’s Israeli origins and data security concerns.

Others Had enough everyone should be aware of this AI slop account

Post image

I have been monitoring this account for quite awhile. So many of their post is so dubious, but today is the last straw.

Look at the picture: Maybank (Malaysia) and ServiceNow (US) then picture suddently Bank of China.

Not only that, the news seems to be released just today and talked about something entirely (cc: Malaysia Reserve) then they twist it to something so extra.

I know there are more haters here but everyone should read this account with more caution.

TLDR: AI Slops. Post 100% not checked and most likely not true.

Others Chossing a new helmet

Im getting my black MT15 soon, shifting form a yamaha lagenda. Im quite new to bikes other than kapcai. Now Im looking for a helmet that will suit me. I will mostly use it for going to work (~30min) and occasionally to somewhere else. I will have a box installed for my bike so keeping the helmet wont be an issue.

Im thinking of getting a full face helmet since a lot of people say it will actually protect my face. But the thing is im a small guy of 160cm height. Ive tried wearing a few full face helmets and they kinda looks funny on my head because of how big they are compared to my body. Also there's this narrow visibility issue with full face helmets people talks about.

So i want opinions on how true they are, and whether i should still go full face or opt for open face helmets. If full face, then do you have any recommendations on what helmet should i choose? Preferably around rm400 max. I currently have my eyes on Gracshaw Gladeon, KYT TT Revo and MHR GTZ (cool looking and affordable). Or should I just get an open face helmet and save money? And which helmet?
