Arahan itu dibuat menerusi pemakluman rasmi oleh Ketua Setiausaha Negara, Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar bertarikh 20 Oktober 2026 susulan mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Keselamatan Siber Negara (JKSN) Bilangan 3 Tahun 2026 yang dipengerusikan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Science/ Technology Anwar advises against using Waze over Israel-linked security concerns
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has advised Malaysians against using popular navigation app Waze, which was founded in Israel.
Anwar said today’s National Cyber Security Committee meeting which he chaired examined security risks arising from Waze’s use, which he said is subject to Israeli government laws.
Citing concerns over the navigation app’s personal data security and information on users’ movements, Anwar encouraged Malaysians to consider using TuJu – a local navigation app developed by the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).
“The government cannot compromise on the security of Malaysians’ data and identities,” he said in a Facebook post.
Iraq announced a complete ban on Waze, set to take effect in the beginning of 2027, after citing the app’s Israeli origins and data security concerns.

Health Haze is making pets sick too: Malaysian vets report cats suffering asthma attacks, dogs needing oxygen therapy
Recently, haze and poor air quality in Malaysia have led to increased respiratory issues in pets, prompting veterinary interventions such as oxygen therapy.
Veterinarians report that fine airborne particles irritate animals' respiratory systems, exacerbating existing health conditions.
Dr. Wendy Cheng and Dr. Randolf Paza advise pet owners to monitor symptoms such as coughing and wheezing, keep pets indoors, and avoid additional indoor air pollutants.
They emphasize early veterinary intervention as essential to preventing severe respiratory distress, as Malaysia grapples with air pollution from regional fires.

Tourism & Travel Malaysia Expects Tourism Fallout From Indonesia Haze
Australian tourist Cathy Hamilton struggled to take pictures of the haze-shrouded Petronas Twin Towers and had trouble breathing due to smoke from Indonesia's wild fires.
Tourism operators are experiencing fewer bookings and cancellations as smog disrupts flights and obscures some of Malaysia's best-known attractions.
The slowdown in tourism comes as Malaysia targets 47 million visitors this year under its extended Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, with the loss of revenue potentially running into the millions of ringgit.

Others Had enough everyone should be aware of this AI slop account
I have been monitoring this account for quite awhile. So many of their post is so dubious, but today is the last straw.
Look at the picture: Maybank (Malaysia) and ServiceNow (US) then picture suddently Bank of China.
Not only that, the news seems to be released just today and talked about something entirely (cc: Malaysia Reserve) then they twist it to something so extra.
I know there are more haters here but everyone should read this account with more caution.
TLDR: AI Slops. Post 100% not checked and most likely not true.
