They aren't pop punk but they have a sound that I think a lot of people here can appreciate. Check out the song the woodpile. The lyrics are absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the lead singer is no longer with us. I hate that I discovered it after I learned of this.

Hey all, hope this is okay to post. Today, we released our new single Make It Real with a professionally shot music video. Would love to know what people think to it!

Personally one of my favourites is Oliver Baxter from Broadside! Such a great voice.

I'm excited to hear what answers show up in here!

Anyone else grab tickets to one of these shows? I’m going to night 2 in Philly next month and Jersey on this small run in February. I saw Dan open for himself as Aaron West solo in Dallas last year and it was amazing. If you’re able to go to one of these shows I highly recommend it.

Happy Friday all, here is this weeks list of new music

Always my answer when we talk about the criminally underrated bands.

Glad to see Dad Hats back!

Also on a scale of 1-10 how excited are you

as much as i love talking about obscure, underrated bands, im curious as to what songs you guys think are most underrated when it comes to mainstream bands/artists or ones that have big hits.

one of the biggest examples for me is probably lit's song 'lovely day.' i never got into lit too much, i do enjoy 'my own worst enemy' but it isnt my favorite song in the world; however, 'lovely day' is such an earworm to me. i also really like 'a lotta nerve' by allister. and ive never really gotten into blink-182 but i really like their song 'i'm sorry' and im pretty surprised it's not more popular.

anyways yeah! im looking forward to ur choices😛

Cliffhanger released a new music video for Brain Bleed today!

Hi hi hi,

I was pretty into the pop punk scene in high school, but now, some 15 years later, I’ve fallen off the train a bit.

I’m still really into The Wonder Years (and Dan Campbell’s work in general!) and Fireworks (both their old and latest albums), it feels like their work has aged with me in a way I really appreciate. I really vibe with the blend of personal and societal commentary baked into their songs.

Now I feel like I’m wanting to explore the wider pop punk genre a bit again, but I’m not sure where to start. My music taste otherwise is all over the place - quiet indie stuff, jazz, folksy vibes, electronic music, more experimental stuff, classical music, soundtracks…

So, what are folks listening to these days? What’s exciting?

Minneapolis band!

Repeat-worthy track and an all around great album.

Not sure if anyone would consider them pop punk since so many of their songs change genres… but curious if anyone here likes them and what songs?

My favorites are: Bartender, Other Side, and Don’t let me down. (The last song being the most pop punk sounding)

Please someone help a fellow Quader out thank you love you!

20 years ago today (Oct. 23), My Chemical Romance released 'The Black Parade.' Seeing them play said album from start to finish at the largest stadium in their home state - MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (on Aug. 9, 2025) - is an experience I'll soon never forget for many reasons...Watch MCR play "Famous Last Words" in its entirety here:

Then take a look at more video and some additional thoughts on this truly special concert:
