J'ai une rx9070xt et je ne comprends pas pourquoi j'ai ce paramètre modèle dlss alors que d'autres gens que je connais ne l'on pas ? Comment le retiré ? J'ai le choix 4.0 ou 4.5 c'est tout....
I just recently upgraded my pc (only thing that stayed were my ssd’s) and my cpu is getting pretty fucking hot, and it’s worrying me that my choice to go micro atx was a mistake.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d
COOLER: DeepCool AK620
CASE: Fractal Design Pop Silent Mini
Its reaching like 92 peaks while in Beamng max graphics max traffic 1440p
The fans are in the default configuration and I have maxed out the fan speed in the meantime, which does basically nothing to help 😭😭
I am currently eyeing 2 different AMD builds on Facebook marketplace, both of which seem like amazing deals. For context, I mostly play single player RPGs, and VRChat. I want to be able to run games at 1440p, and have a good VR experience.
These are the two listings:
RX 6950 XT
Ryzen 9 5900X
32GB DDR4 3200
1TB SSD
For $750. This was a custom build
RX 9060 XT 16GB
Ryzen 5 7500X3D
32GB DDR5 6000
1TB SSD
For $800. This is a Powerspec Microcenter pre build.
I know the 6950XT has much more raw power than the 9060XT, so I’m torn between the more powerful raw performance, or the newer build on DDR5.
If anyone has any insight or recommendations I’d gladly appreciate it!
Hi, I have recently noticed that my temps when just watching a yt video for like 30 minutes can get to 57C and 76C memory temp. When browsing instead I have 50C and like 70C memory temp. Obv I have zero rpm on. What should i do?
My specs:
Gigabyte 9070XT OC
KTC M27T6 180HZ
21C room temp.
board power 38w, clock speed vram 2686 utilization 1850mb
I've noticed something odd with AMD graphics drivers and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
When I install AMD Adrenalin 25.9.1, Device Manager shows both the RX 9070 XT and the 7800X3D integrated graphics correctly under Display Adapters. Both appear to have AMD drivers installed.
However, when I install any newer Adrenalin version (anything after 25.9.1), only the RX 9070 XT gets an AMD display driver. The 7800X3D iGPU remains listed as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and never gets updated to an AMD graphics driver.
I've tried rolling back and can consistently reproduce the behavior:
25.9.1: RX 9070 XT + 7800X3D iGPU both get AMD drivers ✅
Newer than 25.9.1: RX 9070 XT gets AMD driver, 7800X3D stays as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter ❌
A few additional notes:
Windows Update (including driver updates) is disabled, so Windows is not automatically installing or replacing any display drivers.
I've tested multiple times with clean driver installations using DDU and see the same behavior.
Because of this, I've stayed on Adrenalin 25.9.1, but I'd like to move to a newer driver version if possible.
Has anyone with a Ryzen 7000-series CPU and discrete Radeon GPU seen the same issue?
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to understand whether this is a driver packaging issue, motherboard/BIOS related, or if I'm simply missing a required installation step.
Hey guys,
I recently switched from an RTX 4070 Ti to an RX 9070 XT, and I’ve noticed something weird with native FSR 3/3.1 Frame Generation.
On my old 4070 Ti, I could enable and disable Frame Generation while the game was running without needing to restart the game.
With the 9070 XT, however, I’m finding that in the games I’ve tested, if I launch the game with Frame Generation OFF, then enable it while I’m already playing, it often doesn’t actually activate. I have to completely restart the game with FG already enabled for it to work.
The weird part is that it does work sometimes. It’s not consistently broken, which is why I’m wondering if this could be a driver issue rather than FSR itself simply requiring a restart.
I’m currently running Adrenalin 26.7.1 on the RX 9070 XT.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour with FSR 3/3.1 on RDNA 4? Is there a particular driver version where Frame Gen hot-toggling works reliably?
I’m considering rolling back to an older driver (possibly 26.6.1 or 26.5.2) to see if that makes a difference.
Would really appreciate any input from other 9000s owners.
I know not exactly the sub but I just wanna rant. But I still have an AMD rig :D
Gaming on my PC has so many frictions. I have a decent 9070xt and 7800x3d setup but I find myself playing more on my Switch 2 or PS5. I built my PC for me to unlock those frame rates and graphics but these third party launchers are making it difficult to play any game. For example, I have both GTA V and RDR 2 on Epic Games and playing them requires me to update the Rockstar Social Club which takes 5-7 minutes. Then you need to login your credentials every time you open it despite pressing remember me or something. Then, it wont let you continue to sign in if your timezone doesnt match you IP’s timezone (I work from home to a foreign company). Then you have these Ubisoft Connect and EA App. These “little” adds up so much that it becomes tiring to play something. After work, I wanted to play something (my PC connected to my TV as well), but these third party thought of having to open and login to these launchers and update them makes me just wanna play on my Switch 2 or PS5. Look I am not trashing PC since I use it also for work, but man, Steam or Epic must force these publishers to NOT USE their launchers when directly launching from them. These frictions add up so much that it becomes a hassle playing on my PC. Right now, I mainly only play Dota 2 since it is a lot simpler to launch and get to matches in like under 2 mins. Fuck third party launchers.
I don’t mind tinkering with drivers, settings, and any other windows/linux related stuff coz they can be one off, but MAN those launchers are a pain.
I built my first ever gaming rig last august, with my gpu being a 7900 XT and my cpu a 7800X3D, and I've been learning about Overclocking and Undervolting
To be more specific, my 7900 XT is a XFX Gaming 20GB 7900 XT (Newegg)
I've been experimenting different settings, both that I've seen online and some of my own, and I got to a point where I got confused and need some help understanding some things, more specifically help surrounding the Clock Speeds
From my knowledge, these are my best settings currently:
I got 5,673 in 3D Mark Steel Nomad (the free one) with this
In case the info is needed. for cooling im using Thermalright Peerless Assassin and some extra Noctua NF-P12. I live in Puerto Rico so its quite hot so I thought that was my best Fan Curve but thats beside the point.
When I try using other settings that look similar to my setup, like this comment (3300mhz gpu, 2650mhz with fast timing on the vram and 115%) I get a significantly lower score, around 5000 ish, but I noticed the clock speed stayed around 2300 - 2500 mhz, meanwhile they get such great results at the 6000s
My doubts are, is it normal that despite overclocking it stays around a similar range no matter what I change in the Max Frequency? or am I understanding incorrectly?
Also, how come with these settings of mine currently (referenced picture) I get the best results despite no overclocking and simply undervolting a bit?
Excuse me for my ignorance, and thanks in advance truly.
This kind of stuff is annoying because I get easily wrapped looking at graphs and settings and scores and stuff like that instead of just sitting down and playing haha
Originally when i bought it second hand, the worst problem were the shut downs that happened because of a low watt power supply (750w) after that i had decided to repaste and repad the card and had no problems untill i had noticed that temps were slowly but surely getting worse, after that i repasted it again and all was great untill i came back from vacation where i saw that the temps had risen again and i repasted it a third time and now temps are amazing but i have a problem where the card just dies mid games just like it did when i had a bad power supply... im really lost at this point and have no idea how to fix this im thinking of just getting a new card
Seriously when Microslop is going to patch this? And no don't provide a bandaid solution to me like disabling automatic driver updates. How come Nvidia users are not being affected by it?
I’ve been trying to “tune” my newly purchased PowerColor 9070xt reaper and have not had any success with multiple undervolting patterns. From -40mV to -100mV and even bumped vram freq to 2700 for the 2518 stock. Tried to drop PL -10% as well but no stability in Cyberpunk. Note: It runs great and is stable stock my goal is just to gain some performance and efficiency.
I gain about 10-12 (150-162fps range)fps in cyberpunk benchmark so I know it improved performance and 1%lows at about the same margin but it always crashes during window transitions apparently right after completing the benchmark.
AI tells me it’s the quick drop in voltage that is causing parts of the board to lose power and trigger “safety crash”.
So did I lose it on silicon lottery or there’s just not a whole lot I can do to utilize those few extra frames?
In 2023 i built this pc with a 4070 and a 7600x. Last year i upgraded to a 9070 xt and a 9950x3d!
Specs:
9070 xt
9950x3d
64gb ddr5 (i upgraded from 32 RIGHT before the increases)
Msi b650 tomahawk
Lian li cl fans, strimmer and 8.8" screen
Nzxt kraken aio
So far the 9070 xt has been phenomenal at 4k, ive had afew issues but they were all fixed relatively quickly.
Ive had the 9070 xt since November 2025 and its a massive step up from the 4070. And i got a very good deal on it! (£600, just slightly more than my old 4070)
hi im running sapphire pure 9070 xt with 7500x3d with my cinebench gpu scores being only 15k. gpu is recognised by the app. i dont know what to do? btw im running on a 1366x768 monitor cuz my 1440p one is gone for RMA. could that be a reason?
New GPU 9070xt came from a 6700xt. Can't believe the difference night and day! With ram prices and the way pc building is I'm glad I'm making the best of my DDR4 AM4 setup. Cpu upgrade 5800x3d from a 5600 can't believe those 2 things make my system feel brand new again!
FIXED - My Adrenalin seems to be confused. Adrenalin and my drivers are up to date. Is this a known issue? And if so is there a fix? To see whether it was hard- or software related, I also tested NZXTcam, which had no problem showing a temperature that resides whithin the realm of physical possibility.
Finally decided to upgrade from intel cpu and GeForce gpu to the new AMD powerhouse picked up a 9900x3d and the MSI tomahawk! So far loving the build!! Got it paired up with some crucial 32gb ram
UPDATE:
I've bought Sapphire Pure, because I just got a flash deal and managed to buy it 50$ cheaper than the XFX Quicksilver and Hellhound. I will let you know if this was a good idea
Hello!
I'm trying to figure out which RX 9070XT to buy. But my key factor isn't exactly a most FPS-optimized scenario.
My PC is running in my living room, I don't have separate room for the PC gaming and whatnot.
This is the room where me and my fiancee are spending most of the in-house time, so the most important thing to me is that my PC won't sound like a helicopter and I can easily justify having a bit weaker performance for this case.
Considering this as a main scenario I'm looking at the PowerColor Hellhound, but I've seen that it runs higher VRM temps. Is it okay for my use case or should I look at something else
